Interview Question: Who is Prussia to you?
Germany: Prussia? Ah, you mean Gilbert. We're related, I guess. Annoying, sure, but at least he does the chores when he freeloads. [Ludwig speaks without a waver in his voice, though a sliver of irritation creeps in at the end.]
Austria: Ugh, that bozo? Gilbert's my annoying little cousin, who refuses to do anything but freeload and make a bunch of messes. I wish he'd grow up already. [Roderich scowls as he speaks, rolling his eyes. He appears exasperated at the Prussian's antics.]
Russia: Prussia, hmm? Yes, that неприятность [nuisance] truly enjoys boasting about what little he has now. It was a shame, truly- I thought we could become great friends. I really wish we did, and I tried so hard during the Cold War .. [Ivan's voice is sweet, though with a hint of creep. It sounds regretful for a second, before he trails off, seemingly unsure of what to say next. Plastered on his face the entire time is a sugar-coated smile.]
Poland: Beilschmidt? I .. well, it's complicated?? I mean, personally, I don't really like him all that much. We're old acquaintances, I guess? [Feliks answers slowly, with frequent pauses. His foot taps the ground impatiently as he furrows his eyebrows in either confusion, annoyance, or both.]
Hungary: He's a goddamn nuisance, that's what he is!! Gilbert always bothers Mr. Austria and even groped me once! Sure, we were kids, but still! That loud-mouthed idiot can't go one second without yapping about something stupid, I swear! [Elizabeta immediately goes on a long-winded rant that will not be transcribed for the sake of brevity. The annoyance in her voice is palpable.]
France: Oh, Gilbert? He's one of my best friends, of course, along with Antonio! We always play pranks on the other countries- especially Arthur [laughs]. Why do you ask? [Francis spoke easily, as if he didn't even need to think about it.]
Spain: You mean Gilbert? He's one of my best friends, obviously. Me, Gilbert and Francis do everything together! I think one time, we somehow managed to all pull the same trick on each other one Christmas. Haha! Gilbert also gets along well with mi Lovino, and my little Italian rarely gets along well with anyone! [Antonio cheerfully speaks without a care in the world.]
Italy Romano: Gil's a friend, I guess. He kind of understands me, and I kind of understand him .. [Lovino is hesitant speaking at first, and his lips curl up ever-so-slightly.] .. but don't misunderstand! [His face immediately sets into a scowl as he yells.] It's not as if we talk often! [His voice gets defensive and his face turns tomato-red.] Plus, he likes talking more to Feli, haha .. [A slightly jealous look appears on his face as he trails off.]
Italy Veneziano: Prussia? Oh, he's .. he's fun! Yeah, he's fun! Plus, he can be quite .. free? [Feliciano scratches his head while speaking, unsure about his words. When the name "Prussia" is first mentioned, he flinches slightly.]
Japan: Gil-kun? He is a very good friend of mine [smiles]. He always helps out with work and doesn't complain when I don't speak for hours on end. Though I think he speaks enough for the both of us [laughs]. Why do you want to know? [Kiku's mood appeared to have lifted slightly at the mention of Gilbert. His face relaxes when speaking.]
Lithuania: Uh .. I don't really know Prussia too well. I mean, we used to both work with Russia during the Cold War, but that was it. Oh, he gave me some marzipan once, while we were all living in Russia's house! Does that mean we're friends, or ..?? [Tolys seems just as lost in answering the question as the interviewer who asked. His voice is quiet.]
Canada: Oh, Prussia? He's .. certainly something, haha. [Matthew seems unsure of what to say.] I mean, he talks to me often enough, so I guess we're acquaintances?? [Matthew is hesitant when saying that they're acquaintances. His lips curl into a tiny smile when he mentions the two talking "often enough." Poor guy.]
America: Gilbert? He's .. [Alfred seems embarrassed and looks off to the right- where the door is. He coughs into his fist awkwardly before answering.] .. he's an acquaintance! Yeah, totally!
Sealand: Uncle Gilbert? Oh, he's the best! He always gets me the coolest presents and does the most awesome things when Berwald goes on another date with Tino [Finland]! Sometimes, he even lets me cook! Berwald never lets me around the stove!! Ah, but don't tell that to him-! [Peter's face is all smiles while he speaks. His arms wave dramatically around, emphasizing his words. The last remark is added hastily.]
Sweden: Gilbert's technically a relative, so we're close enough. [Berwald shrugs slightly.] He helps take care of Peter whenever I'm away from home, which is helpful. Though I'm a bit concerned, because Peter's been scaring me by randomly shouting out swears. While I don't like pointing fingers, I think the culprit is obvious .. [Berwald scratches his head with a scoff.] Peter likes him, though, so I can't really do anything about it.
Order of Malta: Gil's an old friend, I suppose?? It's a bit too complicated, so I'd rather not elaborate. [Jasper shrugs non-committedly, zipping their mouth shut. They don't appear too keen on speaking about their relationship with Prussia, crossing their arms across their chest defensively.]
