A fast train running between the hills in the late afternoon. There arn’t manny passangers,
some sheep ewes are standing next to a window, the wind is blowing thir wool. A deer is walking across the car.
Near the door, a red fox sitting half asleep, his tail is on the seat, next to it a strange, old looking music instrument. An older goat, who are sitting on the opposite seat try to tappin on it’s wires.
The conductor is walking into the section of the carrige.
- Tickets! Tickets please!
The fox wake up.
- Mr Conductor…I don’t have a ticket.
- Didn’t have time to buy one? You will have to pay quite a big penalty
Says the conductor, like he would not like to deal with it at all.
- Sorry, but I don’t have money either.
- How come you don’t have?
- It has been, but I haver un out of it becouse of…some reasons.
- And you are? Without a ticket, without money?
- See, i need to go back to Pest as soon as possible. So if you can give mi a check, or somthing, i pay it when I’m home.
- Check? - Says the consuctor, thinking. - Wait here.
The conductor walks out of the section, to the door cabinet, but afther some seconds, show to the fox to come there.
After closing the door ot the sectin, the conductor whispering:
- Something valueable? A watch, or a camera?
- For pawn?
- Pawn? Nah.
- I don’t have anithing?
- And this? – says the conductor, looking at the instrument.
- This is an old wheel fiddle, but It Is Not For Sale.
- All rigt, then give me your ’personal’.
The fox starting to search in his pockets, than in his bag.
- Sorry but i can not find my ’personal’.
- Search for it. Then, on the next station, you must get out.
- Which the next station is?
- Dont you know? BudaPest.
Meanwhile, the fox found his ID card, and give it to the conductor.
The train’s brakes are applying.
- What is is? - Asks the conductor, and look out on a window – Well, we got a stop sign. Stick to the rules of this game. You will get out here.
The train is slowing down, passes a wooden storage building, and than stops at little, countryside station.
After getting out, the conductor is walking to the station’s employee, a stoczky ram, with an army-like red hat on his head, and a green and white signal disk on his hoof, whoose are indicates that he is te signaller on duty; and after the greetings, whisper something into his ear.
-….not Ticket, no money, no anything. Here’s his Personal. And after saluting to the sheep, saying a consecending ’Bye’ to the fox, and getting back into the train,
The signaller looked over the fox, tooke a look to his ID, than said:
- Wait here.
Than, he is going toward the front of the train.
While waiting, the fox have some time to look around.
An old, and typycal station building. Four tracks. Sick looking pine trees. Pine trees? Who woduld plant these in this climate? – the fox wondering.
While looking, an eldery squirell lady, with rhick glasses on her eyes come to him, and started hugging him.
- My dearest son, you finally arrived!
- I think you may mistaken me for someone.
- Sorry! I thougt..Sorry.
Tha lady walks away, than turning around, and look at him again.
Meanwhile, a middle-aged deer, in a railway uniform, walks from a car, and climbing up to the attic ladder, whith a box in his hoof.
In the traffic office of the station building, a black and white furred rabbit doe is making coffe. To make sure that te coffee maker doesn’t fall down, she manipulates something on the controlling panel, to make a plain area.
At the same time, the signal, which stopped the train, change to a free aspect.
The doe is embranced by a tall hare.
- May I have some?
- Nooo, Tamáska – saying the doe mischieveously – stop it.
The train is ready to start to leave.
The deer, the station master arrived back to his own office.
As the last part of a deal, the hare give a magazine to the him.
The station master eagerly looking into the latest issue of the ’Preyboy’.
- Well, thank you.
- Of course. I’ll check in.
Meanwhile, the signaller is giving a start sign to the train, wich is slowly start to move, and finally leaves. Than the ram is walking back to the fox.
- Can we go?
- Tell me, how far is Budapest from here? – The fox is asking the signaller, who come back.
- Its 12 years, that’s the last time I’ve been there. Now come on.
After entering the station building, the ram hung the signal disk to a nail, and than went to the deer, who sitting at his desk.
- Comrade Station Master. Express train Nr 6608-1 is passed the station. This fox have been dropped off. If the train wouldun’t stop here because of the signal, he coud reach BudaPest.
- I don’t have time to deal with passangers.
- Than, what shall I do?
- I don’t mind, do as you wish. At least, fill out a report.
Than, turned to the black and white rabbit doe:
- Judit, here’s a pen, write down the details.
The ram stepped to the fox, looked into his eyes, and started asking,
- Where did you got on the train?
- In Győr.
- Do you live there?
- No, I’ve been in a camp.
- Does the police searching you?
- Nah…I mean of cours Not.
The station master is slicied an apple.
- What kind of situations…
The ram continoued the asking.
- Well, Speak!
- About what?
- What happened? Didn’t feel like to buy a ticket?
- I had 50 Forints for a ticket…
- And?
- I’ve spent it with a female.
The deer come to the fox, took his arm, and pulled it,
- See. Yo will sit down to the comradess’s seat, and write down evrything. We do not have time for this. You know, we are working here.
The station master put on his uniform jacket, and put the ID card to it’s pocket.
- Judit, go back to te cassa, the local passenger train is coming.
The deer and the ram have left the office, just the fox and the rabbit stayed in, she sidn’t like it.
- I’m still new here, don’ be angry to me! Said the doe.
- That trouble. Said the fox, mostly for himself, and than, sat down to the report book.
- Tell me, is there any train to Pest, after this?
- This is the last one. After that, just tomorrow morning. I need to go now. – said the rabbit, and while closed the door of the cassa chamber.
The fox looked out of the window, and saw the train slowly passig, while heard the doe’s announcement from the loudspeaker.
Attention! A passenger train leaves from line 2. Be carful at the platform!
After the train passed, both the station master and the signaller come back to the office.
The ram hung the signal disk to its place, and went to the controlling panel. While saw a red section on the left side, that showed that the train left the station, another lines flashed on the middle, indicated the second line of the station is still occupied. The signaller knocked the panel with his hoof, and that made the flashing lights disappearing.
- Boss, sometihing is not right here.
- The sysetem is confuses you?
- We really should call the section examiner.
- You should focus on our passanger instead.
The ram were walking to the table, where the fox were sitting, obviously bored.
- Did you finish it? – And looked down to the paper. - Are you drawing? And the details?
- See, I do not have anything to write about?
- No?
- No. I’ve told everything to the conductor.
- My young friend, we don’t have conductors, we have Ticket Inspectors.
- All right, so, to the Ticket Inspector.
Here, this is my adress. It’s not late yet, maybe I will be at home by hitchiking. – Said the fox, standing up.
- May I ask, where are you going? – Said the station master, who’ve just entered the room.
- I said before. To home, by hitchiking.
- Of coure you will go home. But before that, we are going to fill out the report. – Said the deer superiorly.
- Now, sit down there. While the fox sat down, the deer switched on a lamp in a desk. Or at least, tried, becouse the lamp burnt out.
- Tóbi! – said the station master – Bring a 100 Watt light bulb!
- We don’t have any. – Said the sheep, silently.
- Then a 150 Watt one.
- Should buy some.
- Than any kind.
- Please – said the fox – I told you everything. I will not say anithing with these condditions.
- No? Wi will see that.
Meanwhile, the sheep walked to his own desk, in the traffic office, switched off his table lamp, and take out the light bulb, while burning his hoof.
- Son of a…
- Tóbi! Search Judit for me! – Said the dear, complately ingnoring the preveious task, that he gave to the sheep. Than turned back tot he fox.
- Tell me, what the fur shall I do with you?
- Let me home.
- See, it is what I want too. But before that, tell me the whole story, or that report newer will be done. Whar about that female who take your 50 Forints?
- Judit? – Asked the fox.
- Yes? – said the rabbit doe, who arrived to the room whit Tóbi.
- Sit down.
While Judit sat down, the fox started to talk.
- An evening, we have been taken from our camp to a nearby female camp, where they have been picking carrots. If you are interested, but I do not think it is relevant.
- Maybe. Than?
- Than getting to know each other. Dance, Light mood…
- And than your money have been stolen? – Asked Tóbi.
- Nope. I have spent it.
- For what?
- For food and beer.
- Exactly that 50? Boss, ask him, what have he done with his salary.
- We didn’t get paymant for that work. It have been organized by the schol.
- So, you met that Judit – another Judit – said the station master, looking at Judit, the ticket cashier, who smiles while looking back.
- Yes. -Said the fox. – And the money have been gone.
- Clear. Judit, write this: The person, who made the violation, can not describe the female with the name Judit, who instigated him to do the violation, or at least, part of it.
- Instignated me? Absurd.
- Did you writ it, Judit?

- Where have we been?
- Next morning, a truck take me to Győr.
- How much money you have than?
- 6 Forint, 70 Fillér, but I spent that for a breakfeast.
- Clear. Judit, write: The person, who made the violation, spent his remaining 6 Forint, 70 Fillér, than found out that he is going tod o a wiolation agaist the Railway Company.
- What do you think you are doing. It is like an interrogation. What am I, a Criminal? For just 50 Forints?
A clinking sign is heard from the traffic office.
- It is enough for today – said the deer, taking up a red armband - we do not have time to deal with you, soon the Wiener Howler passes the station. Tóbi! Take him tot he office. We will continu it tomorrow. Judit! Give him something for dinner.
The two males left the room.
- Tóbi – said the station master, while taking up his cap – Be careful, don’t let him escape.
Attention! Express trains passes trough te line 2! Be careful at the platform! -Said the doe, via the loudspeaker.
The train reached the station. The station master standed before the door of the traffic office, and saluted to the train.
The fox stood next tot he window of the traffic office, cursing.
- I am new here yet, don’t be mad at me – said Judit, worrying.
- Don’t be mad, but what the fur shall I do? I will leave the whole dump here, and go on my bare foot.
- No need to rush. They will calm down, and you can go home tomorrow. They even took your ID. It is not that bad here. And where woud you go? The next village is 10 Kilometers away,
While talking, Judit carried an some kind of worn fabric to the room.
- What is this?
- An old strecher. Yo will sleep on it.
The doe accidentally dropped of some of the sheet, the fox leened down to take it.
- Do you like baked carrots? – Asked the rabbit kindly.
- Nope. – Tehe fox replied.
- You will eat it for dinner anyway! – Said her angrily, and left the room.
