Words of Affirmation
Given that his special ability is to compel people to do his bidding, William knows the power of words better than anyone. And while his words often deliver deadly punishment to evil criminals, when it comes to you, his words are like a soft caress that makes your entire being thrum with love and joy. For instance, William really likes it when you wear red dresses, and he makes sure to compliment you when you do. One time, you meet him at the castle’s foyer, ready for your date and wearing a red dress that he has given you. His eyes take in your form, and he appreciatively hums. “Very beautiful. The color red really does suit my darling robin well.” This makes you blush red, and William grins and says, “And now my darling robin also matches her dress. What an even more splendid sight.” William also praises you well for a good job with your Fairytale Keeper duties. “My darling robin’s latest report about my evil acts is quite succinct and vivid. As expected, my Fairytale Keeper is so reliable.” Even though you only initially became Crown’s Fairytale Keeper to save your life, you now take pride in your role, and you’re even prouder knowing that William thinks that you’re doing a good job.
Acts of Service
As a nobleman and co-founder of Crown, William has many servants working for him, but in your relationship, he instead serves you. There are his gentlemanly gestures of kindness and concern for you, such as refilling your wine glass for you or helping you into and out of a carriage. William also acts a mentor to you, patiently teaching you skills such as playing chess or the piano. Because of William’s tutelage, you’re now able to somewhat hold your own against him in a game of chess (though you still have a long way to go before you can actually beat him, but he assures you that you’re improving and will get there in time), and you can now play basic songs on the piano. Most of all, William always protects you. You have promised to be his bodyguard and protect him until the rightful end for the Self-Righteous Monarch finally comes, and you really do your best to ensure your lover’s well-being. However, more often than not, William is the one guarding you. Since his words alone are already weapons when fighting bad guys, he makes sure to always stay by your side during missions, not letting harm come to you. Then, when his enemies make the fatal mistake of going after you, William actually draws his sword against them. It’s much messier than his usual style, but any attempt to hurt you angers him to actually physically cut down enemies himself instead of just using his ability.
Gift-Giving
William is a generous gift-giver. Sometimes too generous. You remember the time when he presented you a necklace with a huge, blood-red ruby on its pendant. You nearly hyperventilated, thinking about its cost and stammering that you couldn’t accept something so expensive. But William just told you that nothing was too good and too expensive for his darling robin; then, he made you turn around so that he could put the necklace around your neck. William also often gives you surprise bouquets of red roses; it’s becoming a common occurrence for you to walk into your room and find a bouquet on your bed, but the sight still makes you grin like a fool every time. And knowing how much you enjoy watching plays, William regularly gifts you tickets to the theater. Tickets for the best seats in the theater, to be specific. Your eyes always light up when he presents you with theater tickets, and William smiles softly as your obvious joy and excitement warm his heart.
Quality Time
With Crown’s duty being to fight evil with evil, you and William truly appreciate the brief respites between missions when you two can just relax and enjoy each other’s company. William takes you on strolls through the castle’s gardens. Sometimes, you even have picnics there, with William bringing wine, cheeses, fruit, and the scones that he had requested Victor to bake for you two. You also enjoy listening to William playing the piano. Though you’re now also able to play the piano, you much prefer listening to him play. On nights free from missions, you sit beside William on the piano bench, entranced as you watch William’s long fingers move elegantly over the keys, the beautiful notes filling your ears and your heart. You two are even able to spend time together when you write your reports. As you type away at your typewriter, William would be lounging on your bed, his eyes fixated on you. When you tell William that this makes you feel self-conscious, he simply says that he enjoys “seeing his Fairytale Keeper in action,” and after hearing that, you don’t have the heart to ask him to stop staring at you as you type.
Physical Touch
William enjoys touching you, and he also enjoys the fact that you turn into a blushing mess because of his caresses. You often sit on his lap, his arms wrapped securely around you. You lay your head on his shoulder, enjoying the feeling of his warmth. Your cheeks are also a typical receiver of William’s physical affection, from the gentle caress of his fingers to the soft kisses of his lips. Even more, William would walk you back to your room, and before leaving, he takes your hand. Raising it to his lips, he gallantly presses a kiss to the back of your hand. The heat from his lips shoots straight from your hand right to your heart.
