Chapter Text
Wednesday Addams was becoming conscious as she felt the morning sun hitting her face, with her mind not yet fully awake. The first thing Wednesday's mind sensed was that something wasn't right. This bed she was sleeping on was not hers. The feeling of the morning sun also was not hitting her face from it's normal angle. Then Wednesday slowly began to realize that she wasn't sleeping on a bed at all; but rather a hardwood floor. Also, the blanket covering her body certainly didn't belong to her. It was too soft, too smooth... and the slight itching Wednesday felt told her without needing to even open her eyes yet that the blanket had... color. However, despite experiencing all of these strange sensations, nothing so far had caused Wednesday to snap into becoming awake... until she heard a familiar voice say, "So... did you have a good time last night?"
Wednesday's eyes suddenly shot open, her vision allowing her to see that she was on the floor of her dorm room at Nevermore Academy, that she had no clothes on, that she was under a pink blanket, and laying next to her... was her smiling room mate: Enid Sinclair... who also had no clothes on. As Wednesday looked at her smiling best friend (and only friend) in the world happily looking at her, Wednesday's eyes widened as she thought to herself: "What the hell happened last night!?"

30 Hours, and 13 Minutes Ago...
A large black dragon roared, a sound that seemed to shake the very foundations of the forest it was in. Suddenly, Enid Sinclair in her werewolf form pounced at the black dragon, avoiding its fiery breath with ease. Her claws found purchase on its scales, digging deep and drawing out the creature's anger. Wednesday Addams meanwhile approached the dragon with a calculated grace. The dragon took notice, its fiery gaze shifting from Enid to her. It was a mistake.
With a swiftness that belied her size, Enid pounced, distracting the dragon just long enough for Wednesday to leap into the air and bring the sword down with a resounding clang. The metal connected with the dragon's neck, and a burst of energy shot out, momentarily stunning the creature. It reeled back, giving them both a chance to catch their breath.
The dragon soon made a final, desperate attempt to shake them off, swooping low and scorching the ground beneath their feet. Enid leaped over the flames with ease. Wednesday, sword in hand, took a deep breath and prepared for what she hoped would be her final strike. The dragon landed heavily, its tail swiping around to knock them off their feet. Enid took the blow, rolling away just in time to avoid being crushed. She yelled for Wednesday to strike while the creature was distracted.
With a war cry that seemed to resonate with the very essence of the sword, Wednesday charged forward. The dragon's eyes locked onto hers, and she could see the flicker of fear in their depths. This was it. The blade sliced through the air, a silent promise of the end. And when it hit its mark, the dragon let out a final, guttural roar. The ground trembled, and the air grew still... right before the dragon's head fell to the ground.
Enid soon transformed into her human form behind a tree, and then emerged wearing a bath robe looking relieved while saying, "Phew. That's one less deadly creature that Nevermore and the town of Jericho doesn't have to fear ever again."
As Wednesday turned to look at Enid with a straight face, she said, "Agreed... although there may still be other dragons hidden in the lands. Never the less, you have indeed become more fierce and brave than ever over the last year Enid."
Enid smirked as she said, "Got that right. Guess your tall, dark, and fearless exterior has finally fully rubbed off on me."
Then suddenly, the sound of thunder in the distance could be heard. Enid's face immediately became that of a scared little girl as she yelled, "Ahhh!"
Immediately, Enid grabbed hold tightly of Wednesday, while Wednesday rolled her eyes with annoyance as she said, "Dear Lord..."
That evening, Wednesday was sitting in front of her type writer in her dorm room at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday was typing very quickly, and soon reached a stopping point, as she briefly had a satisfied look on her face. Enid then walked into the room wearing a pink bath robe as she said, "Okay. Shower room is all clear of anyone, so you can bathe in solitude like you always do. Although I don't see why you never join me and the other girls. Shower time is a great time bond with your fellow women."
Wednesday then squinted her eyes, trying to keep an emotionless face, but a small level of anger still escaped from her mouth as she said, "And that's exactly why I prefer to bathe alone."
Wednesday then stood up and proceeded to retrieve a black bath robe, while Enid walked over to her type writer while saying, "Ooo. Did you just finish the newest chapter to your novel. Can I read it?"
As Wednesday went into her closet and closed the door behind her, she casually called out, "If you wish."
As Enid began to read through Wednesday's typed pages, she excitedly said, "Ooo. I see we've finally reached the chapter where Viper has finally found Evelyn after a daring long search. Lets see here... Hmmm... Wait. This isn't what happened when we reunited after I went full Alpha Werewolf."
Wednesday then emerged from her closet, wearing a black bath robe as she simply said, "As I've told you time and time again Enid, the character of Evelyn is inspired by you. Her life story is not yours."
Enid then put Wednesday's typed pages down as she said, "But Wednesday; ever since I started scanning and publishing your books online for you, more and more people out there keep assuming that Viper and Evelyn's story is exactly the same as our real life adventures. I mean, people really want to know how we reunited after that whole crazy incident with Isaac Knight two years ago, and they really want to hear about that adventure being recounted in your words."
Wednesday rolled her eyes, and then finally said, "I will consider recounting those events in some form of autobiography one day... although with all of my other creative works and endeavors, it may take me about two years to reach that point."
Enid made a little sigh, but then smiled as she said, "Okay. Well anyway, I need to get some sleep. Some of us need a little more than three hours a night."
Then Enid prepared herself for bed, while Wednesday left the room to go shower.
A few hours later in the middle of the night: Wednesday was laying on her bed while wearing a long black night gown as she lay under her black blanket, with her eyes completely closed. Suddenly outside: loud thunder could be heard, causing the light from lightning strikes nearby filled the room for quick moments. On the other side of the room: Enid lay awake under a pink blanket while wearing pink underwear, with a scared look in her eyes. As the sound of thunder got louder, Enid got more terrified as she stepped out of her bed. Enid then slowly walked towards Wednesday's bed, and with a frightened tone she said, "Wednesday... is the thunder keeping you up too?"
While remaining completely still and keeping her eyes closed, Wednesday only moved her mouth as she said, "Actually, it was helping me sleep more soundly than usual until your nagging voice disrupting the soothing background noise awakened me."
As Enid looked very nervous she said, "I'm sorry. It's just... thunder and lightning have always scared me. I've learned to deal with it better as I've gotten older... but I've never heard thunder this loud before, and I... I know it's childish, but... can I sleep with you tonight?"
Wednesday then opened her eyes, and turned her head to give Enid a glaring look as she said, "Enid, I am accustomed to sleeping in total peace as the experience of being completely unconscious is the closest thing I can experience to death while living. However that peace could easily be disrupted if..."
Then suddenly the loudest sound of thunder was heard outside. A scared Enid screamed in terror, jumped into Wednesday's bed, and immediately hugged her tightly. Wednesday rolled her eyes and groaned in frustration... but reluctantly remained still... and slowly closed her eyes as she allowed Enid to remain in bed with her.
The next morning, Wednesday and Enid were still asleep as Enid still had her arms wrapped around Wednesday. From a nearby window, the living hand: Thing slowly crept into the room. Then Thing suddenly stopped, and jumped an inch off the ground as his fingers faced the sight of Wednesday and Enid in bed together. Thing tried to slowly creep past the two, but then Wednesday suddenly opened her eyes, gave Thing a deadly stare, and finally said, "I'll break three of your fingers faster than the time I broke your little house if you tell anyone about this."
Thing then quickly scurried away into a corner, while Enid slowly began to open her eyes. As Enid looked at Wednesday, she smiled while saying, "Hey. Thanks, um... for letting me sleep with you during the storm last night. I know that was childish..."
Then Wednesday quickly got out of the bed, keeping her face completely turned away from Enid as she said, "It indeed was. Now come. We have classes to finish, and I for one do not wish to get held back and be forced to experience our final semester at Nevermore Academy again."
As Wednesday rushed into her closet to get changed, Enid looked a bit worried for a moment... but then she smiled.
That afternoon, Wednesday was reading from some textbooks while sitting at her desk inside her dorm room. Her head then turned as she saw Enid stepping out of her closet while wearing a pink bath robe. Wednesday looked confused as she said, "Why are you wearing that bath robe so early in the day? Are you advancing your nightly routine, so that you go to bed sooner, which will increase my amount of peaceful solitude in the evening?"
Enid simply smiled as she said, "Oh no, I'm going to swim at the lake."
Wednesday stood up and glared coldly at her room mate as she said, "I would highly advise you not to bathe in a lake, as doing so would indeed increase your chances to be gazed upon a gathering of hormone-driven teenage boys that only look at girls to fantasize their sexual desires with them, while at the same time: imagine ineffective ways of making such fantasies a reality."
Enid crossed her arms, and made playful smirk as she said, "Am I hearing right? Is Wednesday Adams sounding jealous?"
Wednesday suddenly looked very uncomfortable (but tried to hide it) as she said, "Never. However... I can assure you that if any boy… or girl… tries any advance on you… he… or she… will find themselves unable to advance towards anything else ever again."
Smiling, Enid left the room while Wednesday returned to her books and notes. As she resumed her work, the goth girl noticed a small dagger laying on the floor near her feet. Wednesday picked up the dagger, looking confused. Soon Thing walked into the room, as Wednesday asked, "Thing, do you know where this dagger came from? I don't remember ever procuring it."
Thing used his fingers to communicate a shrug. Wednesday sighed, and then said, "Well, I suppose it's mine now. Give my best to Lady Fingers during your courting tonight."
The living hand gave a quick wave, and then left. Wednesday meanwhile walked towards the window and stood on the outdoor balcony outside as she caressed the dagger in her hand while glaring at the upcoming night.
Meanwhile, Enid was frolicking in the lake in a swimsuit, her laughter echoing through the woods. She felt alive and free, like she hadn't in a long time. The cool night water was refreshing against her skin. The storm was a distant memory, but the electricity from it seemed to have left a residue in the air that made her heart race.
As she swam, Enid couldn't help but think of her best friend, Wednesday. The way she had held her tight during the storm brought warmth to her cheeks. It was the closest she had ever felt to Wednesday, but she found herself wanting to have an ever deeper connection with her room mate somehow. But she knew that she had to tread lightly, as Wednesday wasn't like other girls...
Back at the dorm, Wednesday was lost in her thoughts. She had never felt anything quite like the way she had with Enid the previous night. It was an alien sensation that both excited and terrified her. Her mind raced with thoughts of their friendship, their battles, and the undeniable bond they had formed. There was something special about Enid. Could it be that Enid had once told Wednesday that she (and she alone) had become her pack... or could it be that for reasons Wednesday couldn't understand, despite her allergic reaction to color, she never seemed to get a reaction to it every time Enid was touching her.
Suddenly, Wednesday felt a sharp pain in her chest, like someone had reached in and squeezed her heart. She gripped the windowsill tightly, trying to ignore the feeling, but it only grew stronger. It was as if she could feel Enid's fear, even from a distance.
Without hesitation, Wednesday grabbed her cloak and rushed out of the room. She didn't know what was happening, but she knew that she had to get to Enid. Something was wrong, and she couldn't ignore it any longer.
Her boots pounded against the cobblestone path as she made her way through the forest, her mind racing with all the possible dangers that could be awaiting her friend. The lake was in view now, and she could see the water's surface rippling with Enid's movements. But as she approached, the sounds grew quieter and the ripples grew still. Panic set in.
"ENID!" Wednesday screamed, her voice cutting through the silence like a knife.
The water churned, and suddenly: a terrifying creature emerged. It was a water dragon. Wednesday had suspected there was one or two more dragons hidden in these lands, but right now was not pleased with how right she was.
The water dragon had scales that gleamed in the moonlight, and eyes that burned with malicious intent. With a swiftness that belied its size, it's powerful tail struck at Enid, sending her flying to the edge of the water; the impact of the dragon's tail making Enid becoming immediately unconscious. The dragon then moved towards Enid's still body with it's large teeth out.
Wednesday didn't think twice. She sprinted towards the lake, her cloak billowing behind her. The dragon had its teeth bared, ready to consume Enid. But Wednesday was already there, the dagger she had found earlier in her hand. The dagger began to glow. Wednesday wasn't sure why the dagger was glowing, but she didn't care as she immediately stabbed the water dragon with it; the blade seemingly having mystical properties that weakened the dragon quickly.
The battle was fierce, the dragon's mystical ice breath freezing the very air around them. Wednesday was now shivering as cold air surrounded her, but she remained unfazed. With each swipe of her dagger, she managed to dodge the creature's attacks, her eyes never leaving its icy gaze. Her movements were precise, calculated. She had studied these types of beasts in books since she was a child, and she knew their weaknesses. However, as Wednesday kept fighting back against the dragon, the cold seeped into her bones, making her muscles ache and her movements sluggish. But she gritted her teeth and pushed through the pain. Enid's safety was all that mattered.
With a roar that seemed to come from the very depths of her soul, Wednesday screamed as she finally found herself plunging the dagger into the dragon's heart. The creature let out a final, guttural screech as it collapsed into the water, the ice around it shattering into a million glittering pieces.
Wednesday then turned to see Enid laying on a nearby beach. Wednesday knew she would be more dry if she ran around the lake to reach Enid, but swimming across was the faster option to get to her. So Wednesday swam... despite the lake being still icy cold from the dragon. However, a cold and wet Wednesday soon reached Enid, her face looking terrified as she said, "Enid... please be alive. Please be..."
Suddenly, Enid's eyes slowly opened, as Enid looked confused while saying, "What...what happened?"
Relief went across Wednesday's face as she said, "You're safe. There was another dragon. I killed it, and..."
However, an exhausted Wednesday suddenly passed out next to Enid.
Panicked, Enid now sat up wide awake and alert as she said, "Wednesday! Oh God, she's ice cold. I've gotta get her inside and warmed up as fast as possible!"
Wednesday was laying under a pink blanket the next morning as she slowly was becoming awake. Suddenly, Wednesday heard Enid's voice say, "So... did you have a good time last night?"
Wednesday's eyes suddenly shot open, her vision allowing her to see that she was on the floor of her dorm room, that she had no clothes on, that she was under Enid's pink blanket that was typically on Enid's bed, and laying next to her... was Enid... who also had no clothes on. As Wednesday looked at the smiling Enid, Wednesday's eyes widened with confusion.
A relieved Enid then said, "Sorry I was unconscious and missed your whole battle with that water dragon. But since I woke up to find it's dead body quickly deteriorating in the water, I realized you must have had a good time defeating it. You always look so alive every time I see you delivering pain to mindless monsters."
Wednesday however, continued to look confused as she said, "Why am I unclothed!?"
Enid then pulled the blanket away from the top half of their bodies, revealing that both she and Wednesday were still wearing their underwear; Enid in a pink strapless bra and blue panties, while Wednesday was wearing a black lacy bra and black thong.
Enid smirked as she said, "Relax. I knew you'd be willing to kill even me if I took all your garments off. However, you were super cold last night, so I decided to use my body heat to warm you up. I... I honestly couldn't sleep at all the entire night. Your heart beat and pulse were very low every time I checked, and it felt like it took forever for your skin to warm up."
Wednesday looked humiliated as she quickly got off the floor, and immediately wrapped her body in the black blanket from her bed. As Wednesday kept only the side of her face in Enid's view, she said, "My heart beat and pulse are always low. As for my body heat... it's always quite cool, and did not require you to warm it up."
Enid then stood up, and wrapped her body in her own blanket as she said with a smirk, "Whatever you say... and don't worry, I won't tell anyone that Wednesday Addams wears a black lacy strapless bra and black thong under her clothes. Although, I have to ask... for someone who usually dresses so modest, why do you wear such sexy underwear? Do you enjoy the thrill of knowing you've got a super erotic modern look under that traditional modest 1940's school girl attire? Or were you you planning to strip for someone special one day?"
Wednesday's face quickly began to blush bright red, when suddenly there was the sound of a knock at the door. Wednesday then opened the door just a small amount, and saw a fifteen year old girl with black hair (in a Nevermore Academy uniform) standing outside in the hallway saying, "Is everything okay? I heard you and your room mate may have been hurt last night."
Wednesday looked slightly confused as she said, "Who are you?"
The black haired girl in the hallway said, "Oh, I'm Carly. I'm new here. Just assisting the den moms."
Wednesday now began to look suspicious as she said, "What led you to believe me and my room mate were hurt last night?"
The young lady: Carl began to look a bit nervous as she said, "Well... I mean... the remains of a dead dragon were found in the nearby lake this morning, so we just maybe assumed that you got involved and..."
Wednesday interrupted Carly, making an angry face as she said, "We're fine."
Carly nodded her head, and then said, "Okay. By the way... are you wearing just a blanket around your body?"
Wednesday immediately slammed the door shut in Carly's face. Enid, who had observed the entire scene said, "No need to be rude Wednesday."
As Wednesday's face became more serious, she said, "I have no time for pleasantries Enid, because an important thought just entered my mind. That dagger I used to defeat the water dragon last night... it had mystical properties I wasn't aware it had."
Enid smiled as she said, "Well, I guess you got really lucky then when you bought it."
Wednesday then looked directly at Enid as she said, "That's the thing though Enid... I didn't buy that dagger, nor did I acquire it via other means. It just somehow happened to show up in this room right when I needed it. But how, I don't know..."
A week later, Wednesday was typing on her type writer in her dorm room, while all alone. Enid then suddenly walked into the dorm room as she said, "Hey. You missed a great party in Yoko's dorm. Anyway, I am so tired from all the dancing. I am heading straight to bed."
Wednesday kept a straight face as she said, "Excellent. Perhaps I shall get a decent amount of sleep tonight, instead of hearing your music blasting from your ear buds. Now then... I must procure a new blanket for myself before heading to bed. Thing apparently cut up my old one in an attempt to build a small house for himself."
Enid made a warm smile as she said, "You know... you could sleep with me in my bed to keep warm. That one time we slept together the other week... that was the most comfortable and deepest sleep I ever felt."
Wednesday however looked slightly annoyed and worried as she said, "I... I... I would prefer to look for one of my spare blankets first."
Wednesday then went into her closet, as a smiling Enid said, "Well... the offer still stands indefinitely in case you change your mind."
Then Enid laid down in her bed while laying on her side, with her back facing Wednesday's closet. Within minutes: Enid's eyes were closed, and her body was motionless. Wednesday soon slowly came out of the closet... and while wearing a black night gown, she slowly approached Enid's bed. Wednesday then stood still for a moment as she looked down at Enid. Then Wednesday moving slowly... got into Enid's bed, pulled the blanket over her body... and then laid beside Enid while hugging her. Wednesday's eyes then slowly closed as she drifted to sleep. However, soon after Wednesday was fully asleep... Enid's eyes opened and she made a happy smile...

Epilogue:
The teenage girl: Carly was sitting on the ground in the woods just outside of Nevermore Academy. Carly had a futuristic looking phone sitting on the ground, as she was wrapping wires from the phone to a glowing blue stone that was sitting beside it. Carly then pressed several buttons on the phone as she said to herself, "Okay. Lets see if this crazy communications contraption will actually work."
Soon, the phone began to glow. Carly pressed several buttons on the phone, and then said, "This is Time Agent: Carly Chaos Addams from 40 years in the past contacting Ana Sinclair Addams. Do you read me?"
Then suddenly, the image of a woman in her late 30's (whose dark hair was in a bob cut) appeared on the phone screen, as she said, "You know Carly, most daughters just call the woman that brought them into existence by mom or mother."
Carly looked a bit annoyed as she said, "I just wanted to make sure it was really you I was contacting ma. Plus, time travel is a dangerous business. We can't be too casual with how we go about things."
Then Carly's mother: Ana said, "Sure we can. In fact, I do my best work while being casual in my hammock. See!"
Then Ana moved the angle of the camera she was using, to show off that she was laying in a hammock.
Carly then raised one eyebrow as she said, "Ma, why are you working in a hammock right now?"
Ana grinned as she said, "Because when I'm in a hammock, it's like I'm flying in the air like your father does. In fact, here he is. Hold on... Hey Gerard! Your daughter is having an awesome time travel adventure right now! Wanna talk to her?!"
Suddenly, a ghostly man flew in front of the screen briefly, waving as he said, "Hey there, my little chaotic angel! Your brother says hi. He says he wished he could have gone on this mission with you, but he's busy fighting space aliens right now."
Carly rolled her eyes, and then said, "Of course Charles is busy fighting aliens. Uggh. Why do I have to do this crazy mission alone?"
Ana then smiled as she said, "I've already told you this girl. Due to your unique physiology, you're not affected by changes to the timeline if they occur. With me however... well, lets just say I almost undid my entire existence the one time I tried going back to meet my two moms when they were young. The point is: you're the only person that can do this. So with that being said... how are things going?"
Carly made a little sigh, and then said, "Well, Grandma Wednesday and Grandma Enid are just fine. Those two evil dragons that time traveling sorcerer sent to kill them failed in their mission. Luckily, Grandma Wednesday got the edge she needed to defeat the final dragon thanks to that dagger I sneaked into her room."
Ana nodded her head and then said, "Good girl. Also... does it look like my two moms are still on track with hooking up when history says they're supposed to?"
Carly looked very annoyed as she said, "Oh my God, ma. I'm not gonna peep on my two grandmothers, just to see if they're banging. But with that being said... from what I can tell... I think they're on the right track."
Ana smirked as she said, "Good. Just be aware, there may still be more dangerous time traveling creatures out there that wanna kill my mom and mother, or even just undo their relationship and marriage. So you need to stick around for awhile and keep them safe from afar. You may be safe, but you've got an entire family that hangs in the balance right now... but I know you got this Carly."
Carly finally made a small smile as she said, "I know... and thanks ma..."
