Chapter Text
"Is it true, what Mountain said?" Cirrus and the others huddled close. There were thunderstorms outside of the clergy, rain hauled on them as if it threatened to tear down the walls itself.
"Yea, Aether is in there right now with him…He did it somehow." Rain nods with a worried look. The other ghouls lingers close. Copia's ghouls that is.
It was years kept secret. Secrets that only the ghouls and Satan himself knew. With the help of mastering glamour and self preservation himself, Copia pulled it through.
Phantom , the newest addition joins in the small meeting of whispers. He looks at them quizzically. "What are you guys talking about?"
Cirrus looks at Phantom, then at Rain. "He should know."
"Know what?"
The water ghoul sighs as they heard another muffled yell coming from the hallway. It was from Copia.
"Phantom-"
"It's Dave" the ghoul cuts him. "I only use that name on stage, remember?"
"Right…" Rain nods. "Copia he…he has a parasitic twin inside him. Doctors said they can't take the baby out out of fear that Copia might die…so all these years Copia has his twin inside him, almost like a real baby or so…"
Cirrus sighs and shakes her head. "Adult baby…it was terrifying to think about. I don't know how Copia manage it all this time."
"And now…are they gonna take it out?" Dave starts to whimper a little. This sounds serious. He keeps hearing Copia yelling from the other side of the suite.
"It…he's going into labor. It's time" Rain said softly,
Lightning flashes before the roar of thunder was heard, sending the restless ghoul into a shudder.
The oak door swings open and Mountain peeks in. "Cirrus, we need you. Please bring more blankets and towels as well…"
he doesn't look so good. Even beneath the chrome mask Dave can sense how tense Mountain is. "Did-did it work?" He didn't hear anymore yelling, nor the sound of crying baby.
Cirrus hurriedly grabs a few towels and blankets before running out.
"C-copia?" Dave turns towards Rain for reassurance but only his twitching tail can be seen thumping against the floor
Aether tends to Copia the best he can, he places his warm hands engraved with quintessence magic onto the Papa's abdomen. There weren't much blood surprisingly but so much liquid. Goop and embryonic juice is what Mountain would guess. The floor is wet and slick, the room feels like a contrast of white and bright colours to the unholy gore that happened inside it.
The Papa pants as his legs shudders. He felt much lighter now but he's still in pain, sore and wet with sweat and fluid. "Cazzo…he's out…"
across the room, Cirrus tends to the…being. It's a full grown adult, naked and shuddering hard. The ghoulette wraps him in towels and blanket as she tends to him. Checking his clammy fingers and eyes. It's brown, with the white emeritus eye just like Copia. But his wet curly hair that sticks to his skin is jet black, it reminded her of Terzo. His body is smaller, and skinnier than Copia. The man whines and shudders when he felt the cold air on his skin.
"Shh it's ok, it's ok" Cirrus coos and tries to calm him, he's still weak as the man struggles to even sit.
"Copia…" Mountain turns to him, he has a worried yet puzzled look. His Papa just birthed his twin out and it's a full grown adult. "That's your brother…"
He watches him with a tired look before sitting up slowly and groans. Aether helps him to it, the three of them watches Cirrus and the younger brother carefully.
"Finally…you're out. After 30 year inside me…pain and shame…you're finally out." The Papa stands up slowly.
At this point the nameless ghouls are worried. What will Copia do? The worst comes to mind, he's going to kill him surely.
Cirrus wraps her arms around him protectively, she looks at the papa with pleading eyes.
But Copia with his small gestures starts to kneel in front of his brother and wipes off the excess stray hair from his face. "Finally you're here, I've been waiting for you for a long time, Viktor."
The man blinks slowly and looks at him with curious eyes.
Aether supports Copia carefully as they slowly walk behind Cirrus who is carrying Viktor. Copia couldn't help but to smile a bit as he sees tuffs of black wavy hair peeking through.
"You know I can carry you too,if you want" the ghoul coos.
"No no it's okay, you helped me enough. At least we can make this walk to my room eh?" The Papa smiles, he seems…giddy almost.
Once they arrive in his room, Copia instructs Cirrus to place him in the tub. The two ghouls tend to the tub while Mountain arrives after a few minutes.
Viktor watches what's going on around him as he sits in the shallow water. He pulls his knees up to his chest , trying to make himself small or not to touch the pristine white tub. But his curious mismatched eyes keep watch on what the others are doing.
"Okie dokie lets give you a nice warm bath." Copia strips and slowly settles in the bathtub with a groan. "Come, let's turn you around so I can wash your head."
Viktor limp body lets Aether reposition him, he's facing the other way as Copia slowly caresses his head. The water is warm, it reminds him of someplace else. Cosy , red warmth and covered in fluid.
The ghouls have left them to their intimate time, granted Cirrus is still worried but Aether assures her that it's okay. Copia uses a small cup he found nearby to slowly wash the others hair, rinsing off the fluid from his own body.
"You came out perfect. Beautiful jet black hair. I wonder where did you get it from?" The Papa slowly moves to his body. Viktor is skinny, he can clearly count the ribcage behind the thin skin and the vertebra poking from his back. Yet his skin is pristine clean, not a mole or freckles in sight. "Almost like a porcelain doll." Copia caresses his hands slowly. Rinsing it in the bathtub water , between the knuckles and the fingers it's clear Copia's hands are larger than his.
Viktor watches, taking note of Copia's bigger yet soft hands. His nail short and trimmed, short hair on his hands and knuckles a contrast to him. It fascinates him. He looks up to Copia's forearms. More hair, much bigger than him, then his legs in between him. Copia is much stronger than him. The warm water and him behind made Viktor feels safe, so he slowly leans back and the man behind him embraces him easily in his arms.
"The shirt is big on him, maybe I need to find him smaller ones" Copia carefully combs back Viktor's damp hair.
"I'm sure I can find some of my old ones for him" Cirrus made a comment. She cant stop staring at the man. Viktor looks around slowly, his mismatched eyes trying to find details and awes in everything. His fair and soft face clear of any blemishes as he sits on the edge of the bed. "Mountain should be back with food soon".
"You must be hungry aren't you? Your first food here on earth." The Papa smiles as he caresses his soft hands. "You're not so cold anymore, that's good."
A few minutes passed before the door opens, the taller ghoul walks in with a tray of soup, bread and some tea. "I don't know what to take so…I just grab some soft food"
"Ah perfect yes!" Copia grabs the bowl of soup and carefully stirs it. "It's chicken soup, good for the soul" he blows to cool it down. He sips it slowly making sure that the man watches. "Mmmm good! You want to try si?"
Viktor leans in close, new fragrant smell hits his nose as he takes in the delightful aroma. He watches Copia stirs and blows it slowly before pointing the utensil at him.
"Now say aah" Copia opens his mouth wide.
Cirrus and the other ghouls watches as Viktor copies him and slowly eats the soft food. They watches as his eyes widens in delight and slowly chews as if mimicking Copia.
"That's a full set of adult teeth…" Mountain murmurs slowly.
"With fangs" Aether continues.
They continue watching Copia feeding his brother. Occasionally tearing some piece of bread for Viktor to try. The man takes it in his hand slowly, using only his slender fingers as he nibbles slowly.
"He's like a big…toddler right?" Copia turns towards his ghouls with a smile so wide Mountain wonders if it's possible for his grin to actually reach his ears.
They nod and ease down, lowering their guard as they slowly start to understand.
He's just a big toddler, no harm really. Plus Copia seems to be enjoying the whole process.
"Let's introduce you to the pack."
