Summary:

"Alpha, I want another omega."

Those words kept replaying in Katsuki's head over and over throughout the day. Maybe it was because it was in such a serious tone that Denki rarely used? Or maybe it was because he didn't know what the fuck to do with that request? Maybe it was because he never called him 'alpha' before like that. He didn't know but it was getting to him slowly.

How had he not noticed before? Seen it happen. He was their pack alpha for crying out loud! He should've known. Should've paid attention. It made shame and guilt pool in his gut which he despised.

He watched the omega for a while. Analyzed. He realized now that he migrated to other groups often. Closer to other omega's to be specific.

It had come up in the morning. The 'Bakusquad' had been early to class (for once) and they waited for others to join, everyone surrounded Katsuki's desk. They were chatting about something, he was sure it had nothing to do with packmates or adding to the pack because he would've caught that.

The others had got up to do something (he didn't really care) and once they were gone, the omega spoke.

"Don't get me wrong. I love being with ya alot but..it just..it gets kinda lonely without someone to really relate to, ya'know? You have Eiji and Mina and Sero doesn't really care cos he can't smell the difference but I..I'm just here. Besides, we have an odd number in the squad anyways."

He didn't know how to respond. He didn't respond as far as he was aware, shock still in his system. Thankfully Denki was patient and simply patted his arm, telling him to 'Just think on it for him' before the rest of them came back in with a few others this time.

He remained frozen until Aizawa-Sensei walked in, breaking him out of his thoughts and grabbed his notebook.

It had been a few days since then and Katsuki still didn't know what to say. The omega didn't bring it up again either, making him wonder if he just heard things. But with how the blond seemed to just..droop lately, he knew it wasn't so.

"Alpha, I want another omega."

Who though? In order to get another omega, he'd have to mark and claim them as part of his pack. Protect them. Be somewhat responsible for them. He didn't know many omega's personally aside from the ones in his class.

Icy-Hot was absolutely not going to be chosen. He didn't like him. He challenged in a bad way. And as much a Denki talked, he was sure the other omega wouldn't satisfy social needs at all.

Frog-face was another option. But she wouldn't fit. She was too quiet. Too sweet. Too timid. He wanted someone that could match or at least compliment Denki's strength and character. He didn't want a meek omega. No offense to the girl, of course.

The animal guy was even worse. That was a 'no' too.

The best option would be Icy-Hot. Katsuki shuddered with disgust. No way.

But if not any of them, who?

Eventually he had to bring it up with his second in command. Eijirou. The other alpha was just as clueless which wasn't much help.

"Maybe Aizawa-Sensei?" He suggested meekly, laying on the floor of Katsuki's dorm, he threw a sticky stress ball up to the ceiling, waiting as it stuck before falling down to his hand.

"Are you fu- ugh- no Shitty hair. He's our pack mother, not a teenager like Dunceface. He'd strangle him after a while." Katsuki muttered sourly, his head hanging off the side of his bed upside-down to stare at the other.

"But who else then? If we ask anyone outside the class, it could put stress on all of us that we can't be near. It will make Denks worse over time." Eijirou rationalized, throwing the ball and flinching when he missed the catch and it smacked his face instead.

"I know." The blonde groaned and rubbed his face, "Who the fuck else? Is that all we've got?" He asked more to himself than anyone.

"We'll think of something." The redhead said firmly, both knew saying ‘no’ to their pack omega was not an option.

A few weeks had passed and nothing changed. Katsuki remained stuck and Denki still stayed quiet about the whole ordeal. It made the alpha a lot more stressed than he probably should be. He made lists. Fucking lists of omegas he was aware of. That was a Deku thing. Not his.

No one matched his pack. No one was strong enough. Bold enough. Good enough. He couldn't just bring in a random omega into his strong pack. He wouldn't stand to have anyone mess up the harmony of his perfect team. But with that mindset, he was still in square one. He tried to ask the omega of who he preferred but he refused to say.

"It has to be someone you want too. All of you. Not just me."

The problem was, Katsuki didn't want another omega to begin with. He didn't like anyone enough. The 'Bakusquad' just happened. He didn't make it, he just solidified it's existence. He didn't really choose who got to bond and stick together. It was made for him.

And he was content with that. Happy even. But he couldn't leave it now. Not with how Denki felt.

The stress was getting to him. It weighed on him, giving him restless nights and exhausting days. He had to find someone close. Someone they could see everyday. Mark everyday. Bond with everyday. He just didn't know who.

How or why he thought this would work was beyond him.

He was desperate. Okay?

It's been almost three weeks since Denki approached him and he couldn't just stall and ignore the topic forever. He needed to acknowledge it be the answer a 'yes' or a 'no'. He needed to he respectful and at least try find another omega. He'd be a lousy alpha if he didn't.

So what better way than to find the one guy who managed to brainwash a least half of the students during the sports festival and ask him?

And that's how he got here. Standing at a lunch table. Waiting (im)patiently for the purple haired student to stop chewing and staring at him like a dumbass. The fucker saw him. He was making eye contact. Then again, his stare looked quite blank, maybe he didn't with that empty brain of his.

It took a few more seconds before the other boy swallowed and raised a brow.

"Yes? Can I help you?" He asked boredly making Katsuki's brow twitch in barely contained annoyance. Keep it together. Do it for Denki.

He opened his mouth but froze when he watched the other take another bite of food. His brow twitched harder as he grit his teeth and waited for him to finish again and swallow. It was polite. Respectful. Waiting for an omega of beta ("lower" secondaries) to finish eating before speaking so they could feel comfortable enough to respond. His mother taught him when he was just a brat.

It seemed to be taking much longer than necessary for the other to stop chewing, his eyes stared up at him with no shame. When he swallowed Katsuki wasted no time.

"I need a list. Make one." He snapped. He watched as the other boy (Hitomi Shino? Hitoki? Eyebags will do-) leaned back a little.

"List of what?" He asked, his tone sounding just a bored as his expression.

"Omegas. All the ones you know on campus." Katsuki grit out. It sounded weird and creepy but anything for Denki. Right?

More hot embarrassment flooded the blonde when Hitoshi's eyes narrowed with suspicion, he rested his chin on his folded hands slowly.

"And may I ask..why?" He asked, his tone wary. Katsuki bit back the urge to snap and tell him to mind his own business but he sucked in a deep breath. He needs his..help. If he snaps he'll lose his chance.

"My omega wants another one in my pack. I'm looking for..any potential candidates." He said lowly, careful to not let anyone else hear. Luckily this freak sat alone at lunch like always.

"Oh. Yeah he mentioned that-" The purple haired boy nodded, "When do you need it?"

"Asap, obviously." Katsuki snapped, his patience waning.

Shinsou nodded, "What's in it for me?" He asked calmly, his eyes blinking annoyingly slow.

"How about me not snapping your neck." Katsuki growled, leaning forward to where he was almost in the other's face. He felt his lip twitch in a small snarl when the other pretended to think with a hum, tapping his chin.

"Hmm..not enough unfortunately." He said, a slow, mocking smile grew on his lips. Katsuki sighed.

"The fuck do you want then, shitface?" The alpha nearly snarled. The grin on Shinsou's face only grew wider.
