Chapter Text
The Kang pack’s village was a decent size. It was made up of many small families, lead by the pack alpha, Kang Jiyoon. It had little shops run by families. There were little gardens and areas for pups to play. The paths were dirt, but no one seemed to care too much when it was tracked into peoples homes.
It was full of laughter and fun. Everyone helped each other and were friendly to all. The alphas of the pack defended their territory and hunted for the pack.
Jisung loved growing up here. He had many friends and enjoyed playing in the gardens with small animals that would wander in. He showed signs early that he was likely to present as an omega. He was small and had big eyes with soft, round cheeks. He was gentle and helpful, always trying care for his younger siblings and helping his mum around the house. He was beautiful and it was hard to not be drawn to him.
So it was no surprise that cold winter morning when he presented as an omega. His mum was so proud of him, and he was so excited to finally have alphas trying to court him. It had been a fantasy of his ever since his mum had begun telling him stories about how she and his father met. He’s been in love with the idea of love before he could even run.
What was a surprise, though, was the nightmare that followed...
Alpha Jaemin - next in line, son of pack alpha, Jiyoon. All the omegas loved him. Everyone did, really. He hadn't taken a mate yet, which meant all the omegas were vying for his attention.
That cold winter morning, as he walked through the village, was when he caught the delicious scent - honey and vanilla cupcake. It swirled around his senses. It was like walking into the village baker's shop just as it opened in the early morning.
Jisung was gathering flowers from his garden beside his family home when Jaemin found him.

“You smell divine, little omega,” Jaemin said, stopping a few feet from Jisung.
Jisung looked up and, upon seeing who it was, began blushing. “Oh. Thank you, Alpha Jaemin.”
He cutely tucked some of his soft brown hair behind his ear and stood up.
“How have I not noticed you before, little one?” Jaemin stepped closer into Jisung’s space.
Jisung felt a little lightheaded. He smelled something strong - spicy almost. It’s was a little overwhelming. “I-I just presented today.”
Jaemin hummed and took that last little step to close the distance between them. He knew exactly what he was doing. He pushed out his dominating scent, trying to make the omega docile. “Is that so?” He smirked, running a finger down the side of Jisung’s face.
Jisung felt a little woozy now. He stepped back, but the alpha stepped with him.
“Oh, don’t run away, little omega. That’s rude. You don’t want to hurt my feelings, do you?” Jaemin's voice dripped with faux disappointment.
“I-I just n-need... um...” Jisung was trying to get some fresh air. He needed to breathe. He couldn't focus. He didn't understand what was happening, but he could hear a voice screaming inside his head. It was his omega, he belatedly realised. “Run! Danger! Run!”
“Shh, little omega. I know exactly what you need. Alpha's going to make it all better.” Jaemin’s voice broke through the fog in Jisung’s mind.
Jaemin grabbed Jisung’s jaw, tilting it until his neck was bared. Jisung panicked, his instincts kicking in as Jaemin lowered his face - too close to Jisung’s scent gland. He lashed out, snapping at Jaemin and sinking his teeth into the alpha's hand.
Jaemin growled in pain and anger, throwing Jisung down to the ground.
Jisung whimpered and shrank into himself at the sight of the alpha moving to stand over him, full of rage.
“You little bitch! You bit me!” Jaemin leaned down just enough to grab Jisung by the scruff of his neck and began dragging him toward the pack alpha's home.
Jisung was terrified. He didn’t understand. He hadn't done anything wrong, had he? Sure, he'd bitten the alpha - but the alpha was going to claim him. His mum had alway taught him that omegas fight back. They always fight back.
Jaemin was rough as he dragged Jisung along the road. Fury radiated from him, his scent thick and dark. It burned Jisung’s nose, and he could feel tears sliding down his cheeks. The metallic taste in his mouth was disgusting. He wanted to spit, but he was too scared to do anything at all.
He could see the pack alpha's home coming into view, and a new wave of terror washed over him. What was about to happen to him? He was sorry. He didn’t mean to bite the alpha. He was sorry!
“You’re going to regret this, omega.” Jaemin growled as he pulled Jisung through the front door.
Jisung could hear voices growing louder as he was dragged toward the back of the home.
“Oi, Jaemin! Where'd you get off to?”
Jisung recognised the alpha that spoke - Jaemin’s best friend, Soejun. When Jisung was dragged in front of him, he saw Hyunki and Minseok there as well - Jaemin’s little circle of alpha friends.
Jaemin threw Jisung to the ground at their feet.
“Hold this little bitch down. He’s going to learn his place!”
Jaemin’s words barely registered in Jisung’s head as he tried to scramble away. Unfortunately, the other alphas caught him before he got anywhere.
Jisung whimpered, his scent full of distress - tangy vanilla cupcake filling the air.
“What’s he getting, Jaemin?” Soejun asked, a sick smirk twisting his lips.
Jaemin looked dangerous when he growled, “Traitor punishment.”
That made Minseok hesitate for a moment. It was quite a horrific and drastic punishment.
“Jae, that’s a bit-”
Jaemin’s alpha growl had Minseok snapping his mouth shut.
“Hold him down!” Jaemin ordered, using his alpha voice again.
They forced Jisung onto his knees, his back arched uncomfortably as one alpha gripped the back of his head, pulling it back harshly and holding it in place. Each of his wrists were held tightly - one by the alpha on his right, the other by the one on his left. Their other hands pressed firmly between his shoulder blades, keeping him bowed and exposed, unable to move.
Jisung’s head spun as the oppressive scent of four alphas bore down on his senses. He let out a high-pitched, frightened whine. He trembled, fresh tears spilling from his eyes. He didn’t know what a traitor’s punishment was, but he knew it wasn't going to be good. Why were they holding him like this? What were they going to do?
Jaemin left Jisung’s field of view - and that made him even more afraid. When Jaemin appeared again, he wore a smile that would be forever burned into Jisung’s mind, haunting his dreams every night.
The moment Jisung saw the glint of metal pliers in Jaemin’s hand, he started struggling. He got nowhere, obviously, but he kept trying.
“Please! Please I’m sorry! I-I won’t do it again! Please! Alpha! Alpha! Alpha!” Jisung begged and pleaded, his scent turning rotten. He didn’t know what Jaemin was planning to do with those, but he wasn't stupid. This was bad. Very bad.
Jaemin grinned and roughly gripped Jisung's jaw with one hand, forcing it open. Jisung was hyperventilating now, unable to pull away from Jaemin’s hold thanks to the other three alphas pinning him in place.
“This is going to hurt, little omega.”
Jisung whined again and again, his omega whining inside his mind matching him in terror and pleading.
There was nothing he could do as the pliers clamped around his upper right canine. The sickening crunch of the tooth being ripped from his mouth echoed in his ears. Jisung screamed - as much as he could with his jaw forced open and body restrained. Make it stop. Please, please make it stop. His omega clawed at his insides, howling in agony.
There was no reprieve as Jaemin moved straight onto the upper left canine, then the two on the bottom. Jisung couldn’t hear anything over his own screaming - and that of his omega.
He couldn’t breathe. The sharp stench of blood and alpha scent clogged his nose, making him want to throw up. He couldn’t focus. There was only pain and screaming. He couldn’t move - and it felt like he was being held underwater. He was so lost in his mind, in his omega and their shared agony, that he barely remembered what was happening.
Jaemin snickered, looking feral in his enjoyment. Soejun, Minseok and Hyunki still held Jisung in position. They looked uncomfortable, but knew better than to try and disobey their future pack leader.
Jaemin yanked Jisung’s head down so he could look into the omega’s eyes. Jisung’s pupils were blown wide - an indicator that his omega was right beneath the surface. It made Jaemin laugh.
“Hey there, little wolf. I’m not done with you yet.”
He released Jisung’s head, letting it drop against his chin. Blood streamed down his chin, coating his skin in sticky crimson. The sight set the other three alphas on edge. The air felt heavier now - thick with fear and dominance. Jisung’s scent was as rotten as it could be, and even the alpha's scents began to shift in the face of such brutality.
“Jae... maybe.. that’s enough, right?” Hyunki’s voice trembled, barely audible.
Jaemin turned his attention towards him. “What was that? Huh? Did you just say something, Hyunki? Are you questioning me?”
Hyunki quickly dropped his gaze.
“That’s what I thought.” Jaemin's eyes slid back to Jisung. “Sorry about that, little omega. Now... where were we?”
Jisung whined - a broken, pleading sound that came straight from his omega. He wasn't really there anymore, buried too deep as his omega tried to protect him. Jaemin grinned wickedly and took one of Jisung’s fingers. When the pliers clamped onto the nail, the other alpha’s had to look away.
The room filled with Jisung’s wailing as Jaemin systematically removed each nail on both hands.
Soejun gagged, throwing up a little in his mouth but forced himself to stay composed. Minseok looked pale, and Hyunki had to wipe a tear from his cheek before Jaemin could see it. It was too much for them. They knew Jaemin could be brutal at times - but this was something else entirely. They just wanted it to be over with so they could go do anything else.
“There. All done, little omega. That’s better now, right? You know your place, and it feels better, doesn’t it?” Jaemin smiled and stood like he hadn’t just shattered a wolf’s life beyond repair.
The other alphas watched as Jaemin left the room. None of them knew what to do. Jisung was shaking, quiet little whimpers falling from his lips.
“Do... do we let go?” Minseok asked quietly, still holding Jisung in place.
Hyunki looked at him, just as lost and uncomfortable. A few tense moments later, Jaemin returned - fresh clothes, calm, no trace of blood anywhere on him.
“Leave the omega. I want to go for a run.” Jaemin's tone was casual, back to his usual self, and it settled the other alpha’s instincts - but only barely. Soejun carefully laid Jisung down before they all stood.
When the alphas left together, the room fell silent - the only sounds left were Jisung’s soft whimpers and uneven breaths.
