Chapter Text

Geoff explains it like this: A scripted speech that he’s meticulously planned, researched, and rehearsed, intended to ease Cesar into the whole idea. It’s a thorough primer on his and Layne’s relationship and their experience thus far with pain and impact play. Which is to say, they don’t have any experience with it, but they’ve talked a lot about it and Layne very much wants to try some things.

It's a masterpiece of a speech that Layne summarizes at the end as: “I want Geoff to rough me up a little and he’s being a pussy about it.”

Geoff rolls his eyes.

But just as they counted on, as with most of the half-baked, incredibly stupid ideas he’s presented with in life, Cesar picks it up and runs with it. “And you want to rough me up as a trial run? Awww you guys, that’s so sweet.” He smiles at them like they’re two little puppies, fluffy and adorable and clueless.

Then he says, “My hard nos are shit, blood, weapons, and anything that could leave scars. Also I’d really prefer if you didn’t bruise up my face. Just this time. I have some shows coming up this weekend.”

Geoff and Layne blink at him.

“Yeah we were thinking maybe I’d just shove you around a little…” Geoff says.

Layne interrupts him with a dead serious, “Let him cook.”

Notes:

Starting off gently. Ironically.
