i now pronounce you—

Summary:

Nayuta likes control.

Nayuta doesn't like that the ship they're traveling on has somehow incorrectly labeled Altus his husband within the database, giving him the same control that only he should have.

Notes:

This is not representative of the people behind the model.

Chapter Text

By his own design, the ship only listens to his commands.

Bioengineered to respond to him, Nayuta does take some pleasure in hearing the ship deny the others when they ask for something. Like Malim asking for the temperature to be raised, or Nix for the lights to be dimmed. And no, Ryzar, the ship cannot provide you with a lifetime supply of meat on command.

Nayuta is unrepentantly pleased by this.

He likes having the control, the power, for the others to begrudgingly approach him to ask for a favor, even if it is as small as turning down the lights or raising the temperature. Shared access to the ship’s subservient protocol would result in chaos and possibly a horrible attempt to produce the insurmountable request for meat, which, again, we cannot do, Ryzar.

It keeps the peace, even if it causes a bit of good-natured mutiny that’s more whining than anything dangerous.

Malim is always the first to whine and complain, shivering in his barely concealing outfit of silk. “Why is it always so cold here? Ship, can you raise the temperature a bit?”

There’s an answering gentle hum, and Nayuta hides his pleased smile in the curve of his cup that he raises to his mouth as he hears, “Unfortunately I am unable to complete your request. Please ask someone with administrator rights to raise the temperature.”

A heated glare is sent his way, one Nayuta ignores as he continues to eat his meal. It’s an old song and dance at this point, one Nayuta is tired of participating in.

Malim, seeing the disinterest in his plight, instead turns his pleading face towards Altus, lower lip exaggeratedly pushed out into a pout. His sharp nails curl coquettishly over Altus’ wrist, eyes wide and wet as he carefully slides on his mask of manipulation.

“Daddy, mommy is being mean again,” the brat of a genie whimpers.

Mommy.

Nose wrinkling, Nayuta looks over to give the genie an admonishing speech, but the smaller man is practically buried against the larger man’s side, content to ignore him, probably knowing how it grates on Nayuta’s nerves to be called that. It’s unsightly, the way Malim whines and wheedles, pressing the bare stretch of his chest against Altus’ arm as he begs.

“Altus,” Malim whines, dragging out the last consonant of the oni’s name until is a long hiss. “Help me.”

The taller man puts down his cup, smiling indulgently down at his fiery companion. “Ship, may you raise the temperature?”

Nayuta leans back in his chair, waiting for the dismissal, clearing his throat as he opens his mouth to repeat the command.

Except he hears—

“Of course, Master Altus.”

—and freezes, mouth clicking shut.

Out of the corner of his eye, he can see the gleeful look Malim sends him, the genie’s mind ablaze with ways to take advantage of this new information.

But Nayuta can't show his lack of control, keeping his mouth neatly zipped as he returns to his food, even if it tastes like nothing.

And after, when the food is gone and he hands his plate to the person who is on cleaning duty that day, he stomps his way to his room. Well, more like walks with purpose, just with heat behind each sharp click of his shoes against the floor. He would never do something so uncouth as stomping his feet like he was a child throwing a temper tantrum.

He does, however, storm into his room, stalking up to the terminal with predatory intent.

“Why was Altus granted permission?” he hisses out, slapping his palm to the terminal. “You should be listening to no other orders except mine.”

There’s a quiet hum as the ship processes his question.

“Master Altus is recognized as your equal,” is what the ship tells him, and if Nayuta listens closely he can almost hear it embodying an undertone of amusement. “Due to his status, he has been upgraded in the ship’s data system with equal rights to your own.”

Nayuta blinks slowly. His fingers start to shake. “He’s…what?”

“Put simply, Master Nayuta, Master Altus is currently recorded as your spouse within the system records. Due to your newly registered partnership, we have chosen to encode his title as a system administrator within our database to reflect that.”

Put simply, yes, but Nayuta feels like it’s speaking a foreign language to him that he can barely understand.

“How the hell did you decide that?” he shouts.

The ship hums. “Your previous life scans showed exceptional compatibility. When compared, you both have the markings of complete symbiosis. We’ve reviewed your interactions as well and have found no reason to hesitate on changing—”

“Interactions? What interactions?”

“Your daily interactions,” is the answer, which answers nothing at all. “Master Altus treats you with reverence and kindness—”

“As he does to everyone!”

“—and does not protest to being called daddy to your mommy.” Oh, but of course that isn’t all, as the ship continues with a hushed sort of excitement in its monotonous voice. “How you react to him is also very different how you handle the others, despite how you play up your apparent dislike for him. We’ve searched the database and have found this coincides with playing hard to get, a sign of foreplay. Because of all these moments we as a collective have witnessed, it was deemed appropriate to list him as your mate within the system records.”

Mate.

Partner.

Spouse.

Nayuta would laugh if he didn’t want to scream first.

Instead he sneers, “Remove his administrator privileges.”

“We are sorry, Master Nayuta, but we are unable to complete that request.”

Nayuta feels his gut sink. “What? Why not?”

“We need to receive permission from Master Altus first.”

Stupid. Fucking. Ship.

“Are you fucking serious?”

“We have no reason to lie, Master Nayuta. It is standard procedure that someone cannot be removed in case of bias or disagreement in the form of an unfair punishment. If you are having issues with your partner, we recommend talking it out with a licensed therapist—”

“We do not need couples counselling!”

“We are very glad to hear that, Master Nayuta.”

Nayuta fears he might go bald from how hard he runs his hand through his hair. “I mean because we aren’t a couple!”

“Acceptance is the first step in—”

“Nor do I need a twelve-step program! Remove him!”

“We regret to inform you once more, Master Nayuta—”

He cuts off the denial with a sound that is practically inhuman. “Call Altus to my room.”

“Of course, Master Nayuta. Would you also like us to set mood lighting and music?”

“What? No! Why would you?” Nayuta waves his hand, reaching up to pinch the bridge of his nose. “Never mind, don’t answer. No music, no lighting, just call the damn oni to my room.”

“Of course, Master Nayuta.” The voice fades for a moment, before the ship says to him, “Master Altus has been notified that you wish to see him. He is on his way. Estimated time of arrival is three minutes.”

It's the longest three minutes of Nayuta's life.

He paces, shoes tapping a smart cacophony of impatience against the floor, mind still whirling with how-the-fuck's and this-can’t-be's.

Despite his earlier denial, there’s a low hum of the wedding march as Altus makes his entrance into his room as the door slides open. Oh, Nayuta was going to disembowel the entire ship of its humor module and toss it into the cold embrace of space.

“Good evening, Nayuta,” the oni says genially, eyes curving up in delight. “You called for me?”

Crossing his arms, Nayuta turns away. “Thanks for coming. I need you to do something for me.”

“Oh? What can I help with?”

“Tell the ship you want your administrator rights terminated.”

In theory it should be easy. Altus had never demonstrated any type of willingness to take control, never fought him when plans were laid out. They had never butted heads, so Nayuta figures this will be the same, and that the oni would gracefully bow his head to his request.

“Ship,” Altus starts to say, and Nayuta has a brief flicker of hope before it is dashed by the next part of, “why do I have rights anyway when none of the other boys do?”

“Ship, don’t answer him—!”

“Master Altus, you have been granted administrator rights due to your recognized marriage to Master Nayuta,” the stupid pile of bolts replies, ignoring Nayuta’s outburst. “Though there hasn’t been a legal ceremony or agreement between both parties, we have recognized your partnership due to your physical and emotional compatibility.”

The silence that follows is heavy.

Nayuta chances a glance over at the other man.

Altus has a carefully blank and contemplative look, which does not bode well for Nayuta as those dark eyes slide over to him…and slide over him. From his face down to his feet, a slow scan of his person as it trails back up, eyes flicking over parts of him with such intensity that Nayuta almost wants to cross his arms against his chest like some fair maiden.

But no, he doesn’t, instead facing the inspection head on with a glower so dark he’s surprised the ends of Altus’ robes don’t catch fire.

“Well?” Nayuta questions, breaking the silence. “Terminate your role.”

“Ah, and why should I do that?” comes the darkly amused question. Altus tilts his head to the side consideringly. “I seem to gain much more from keeping it.”

Gritting his teeth, Nayuta can feel his jaw ache from how hard he clenches his teeth grind together. “There’s no point in more than one person having access to the ship. Plus, it’s my ship, so the power to control it should remain with me only.”

“I wasn’t talking about the power.” Altus steps closer to him, voice lowering to a devastating whisper as he presses his mouth close to Nayuta’s ear. “I was talking about you.”

A shiver of something that Nayuta refuses to name travels down his spine.

“How fortuitous that I have been granted the right to be your husband. Surely I must’ve done something right in life to earn this.”

Despite the easy smile and hearty laugh, Altus touches him with something that borders on possessive. Clasping his waist gently, nose nuzzling against his ear, Altus pulls him closer and closer—

“Don’t touch me,” Nayuta hisses, jerking away.

Altus allows the escape, chuckling as the alien puts a safe distance between them.

“It seems I missed the marriage,” the oni jokes, but his chuckle is heavy with heat as he leans closer. “I don’t want to miss the wedding night as well.”

“Stop,” Nayuta hisses, pressing his hand to the broad chest. Altus stops, but not because of Nayuta’s push, but because he was a bastard who liked to bat a mouse between his paws before it died out of fright. “This is a mistake I am trying to correct. Just tell the ship to terminate your administrator rights and everything will be back to normal.”

“Oh?” Altus tilts his head, smile annoyingly amused. “You wish to divorce me already?”

“We are not married!” Each word is punctuated with a slap to Altus’ chest, Nayuta already at his wits end as he glares at the other man. “It’s an error, and I’m trying to fix it.”

“Fix it? Because you don’t want me having access to give the ship orders, or…” Altus tilts his head, the softness of his smile hiding something that should not cause Nayuta’s stomach to clench in anticipation, “…or because the idea of being bound to me in any way makes you nervous?”

“Nervous?” Nayuta lets out a sharp laugh, shrill from how high it peaks. “Why would I be nervous?”

“You tell me.”

Altus presses closer, and despite their similar heights, the man feels like he looms so much larger as Nayuta backs up. His presence alone is suffocating, usually hidden behind mysterious smiles and teasing words.

“I don’t fear you,” the alien hisses out, a sharp noise of protest in his throat as his back hits the wall.

“I didn’t say fear.” Altus cages him in, large hands touching the wall right beside Nayuta’s hips. The tip of his nose nudges against the alien’s ear, voice low as he says, “You’re shaking.”

He is, but Nayuta won’t admit it. Not from fear, no, but from anticipation. A sick combination that batters at his shields, that allows his quiet sighs to leave his parted lips as a hot mouth kisses his ear and slides down his neck. Now, he knows he can put an end to this easily. The problem, however…is that a small part of him – a very, very small part – is disinclined to stop the heated ministrations.

So if he tilts his head to allow for more access, well, that was for him to know.

Still, he does put up some token resistance, being who he is, if only to feel those throaty chuckles vibrate against his skin.

“You’re trying to be coy,” the oni accuses, amusement gentling his accusation.

“No, I’m trying to understand your sudden minor obsession with being married to me. Which we are not, by the way.”

“Do I seem like a man who is only minorly obsessed?” And before Nayuta can answer, Altus continues, dropping his voice to a rolling purr that makes the hair on the back of Nayuta’s neck stand straight. “I’m not trying hard enough then.”

The hands on the wall move, sliding under Nayuta’s thighs and lifting him up. The alien yelps in surprise, arms automatically wrapping around the oni’s neck, forcing his body closer to the chuckling man as he’s carried over to his bed.

“What are you going?” Nayuta shouts, beating his fist against a broad shoulder. But if there is any damage done it is minimal at best, as the oni merely laughs richly as he gently lowers Nayuta down to sit at the edge of the bed.

“Trying harder,” is the simple answer. Fingers capture Nayuta’s chin, forcing his head up to meet the heated gaze of the man who smiles with wicked intent down at him. “I strive to be the best choice of partner for you, which the ship seems to recognize. Now I just need you to see that.”

Nayuta narrows his eyes, jerking his head out of the light hold. “Then you can start by listening to me better.”

“Is that what you want? Me, on my knees, subservient to your command?” Altus lowers himself, his gaze intent and unbreaking as he keeps it trained on Nayuta. For such a big man, he moves with grace, barely of whisper of cloth or the break of bones as he kneels. “You want power over me? Then you may have it. But,” he continues, the word threaded with power, “do not think I will willingly lower myself without wanting something in return.”

Nayuta arches a sharply shaped brow. “And what is it that you want?”

You,” is the simple answer, devastating in its delivery.

Unlike the many times before when everything is to be taken as a joke or hidden behind a carefully complex labyrinth of words that one couldn’t parse if they were serious or not, there is no mistaking the heat in that statement.

Large hands slide onto his knees, gently nudging them open so that the oni can fill the space between his thighs with his own body. The heat of him is obscene, a furnace that burns away the remaining coils of Nayuta's resistance. And the ashes left behind coat his tongue, bitter as he swallows them down.

He remains silent, allowing the gentle nudge to his chest, laying down against the softness of the bed as the man starts to prowl up and over him.

“You like control,” Altus murmurs as he kisses up the flat pane of Nayuta’s clothed stomach. “But so do I.”

Over his chest, up his neck, until that hot mouth slants over his own.

Nayuta will never admit that his lips part at the questing tongue easily, preferring to think that he has kept up the fight and merely lost. But his mouth is smaller than Altus’. It struggles to accommodate the tongue that licks past his lips and the threat of his sharp teeth, seating itself deep in the cavern of his mouth as it licks over teeth and palette. His chin is wet and his eyes glimmer with unshed tears from the overwhelming feeling of being pulled systematically apart.

Altus moves back, humming as he wipes at Nayuta’s wet chin with his thumb. “Small thing, aren’t you?”

“Small?” Offended, Nayuta glares up at the oni, the effect somehow dampened by the flush on his cheeks and the tears that cling to and darken his lashes. “We are almost the same height!”

“Yes, but your body is slimmer, more delicate,” the oni explains.

Hands press to the sides of his chest, sliding down while adding pressure down to his waist.

The oni continues, voice a low rumble that reminds Nayuta of thunder echoing in the distance, “My fingers can wrap almost entirely around your waist.” The mouth follows, the head of midnight hair leaning down so that a kiss could be pressed to the indentation of Nayuta’s stomach, where the shirt has been rucked up to expose his pale skin. “My thigh is twice the size of yours.”

Altus slides his thigh up between the valley of his legs, nudging it up so that his knee grinds gently against the front of his pants. Nayuta tries to ignore the way his body responds, settling for glowering up at the gently smiling man.

But Altus isn’t done with his comparisons.

He leans down, breath hot as it touches Nayuta’s lips. “If I was less gentle with you, uncaring of your comfort, you would choke on my tongue.”

He punctuates his statement with a nip to Nayuta’s lips.

“If I was cruel you would choke on my—” and here the oni does not speak of what he would do, instead showing Nayuta with actions as he grinds his hidden hardness down against the alien’s groin.

Cock, Nayuta’s mind unhelpfully supplies, almost sounding like the ship’s automated voice.

“But I can be kind,” Altus continues, voice low and dark. “With you, I would allow myself to be bound in any way you see fit, let you tie my hands behind my back if it so pleases you, for my sight to be hidden behind silk, as long as I can have you.”

The words should mean nothing to him.

They shouldn’t cause his breath to hitch or his mind to put the damaging image in his head of the oni bound beautifully.

They shouldn’t, but they do.

Spoken as they are, heavy with dark, delicious intent, piques that part of him that likes control. It settles comfortably around his shoulders, a stole made from bad decisions weighed by the pros and cons of this arrangement.

Nayuta leans back, contemplative. “…we’re still not married.”

“That doesn’t sound like a no.”

Nayuta rolls his eyes, looking off to the side. “Listen, if you want something, you better do it now. I won’t be in such a giving mood all the time.”

A light touch to his chin brings his gaze back to the man who hovers above him.

“Of course, dear.”

The bed creaks as Altus leans down, the curtain of his hair soft from where it grazes the high arches of Nayuta’s cheek as the man kisses him again. Slow, soft, and possessive. The fingers on his chin slide up to cup his cheek, a thumb stroking comfort and care over the flush that has settled there. And if he curls his fingers into the dark strands and gives a slight tug, well, that’s only for them to know.

The rich chuckle he receives as Altus pulls away is tinted with a pleased purr.

“Ship, lower lights to twenty-five percent,” Altus commands.

“Of course, Master Altus. Would you also like the lock to be engaged?”

“Please.”

“Of course, Master Altus.”

Nayuta glares up at the man as the lights dim to a sensual glow, the lock on the door a quiet click that makes his stomach jump. “You’re really enjoying yourself, aren’t you?”

“Well, I might as well take advantage of my role as your husband.”

“You’re not my—!"

Altus grinds down once more, voice soft and crooning as Nayuta breaks off into whine at the stimulation. “Don’t worry, we have plenty of time to correct that mindset of yours, husband mine.”

Nayuta digs his darkened nails into the broader man’s shoulders, fighting to keep his voice from breaking into a whimper or a whine; or worse, Altus’ name.

It's a torturous sort of worship as Altus undresses him – sharp nails trailing over skin as cloth falls, leaving pink lines of teasing in their wake; broad palms that skate possessively over the dip of his waist and swell of his hips.

And Altus is there to drink every sound out of his mouth as his body is played with, deep pulls of his lips and sensual flicks of his tongue that force Nayuta's toes to curl into the sheets as he struggles to keep up. He unravels with embarrassing ease, his carefully crafted control easily shattering under the assault of those gentle touches and heated presses of a mouth.

Vulnerable in his nudity, Nayuta pulls away to glare up at the grinning beast. “Take your clothes off.”

It’s completely unsensual, bordering on rude, but if Altus has an issue with his demand, then he doesn’t show it as the oni pulls back, rising to his knees, and starts to disrobe. This close, Nayuta has a perfect seat as pale, marked skin is exposed. Altus makes sure to go as slow as possible, testing his patience, as he slowly undoes his belt. It’s a show, something that makes Nayuta scowl as he follows the newly bared skin as ties are undone and fasteners loosen, leaving the fabric to sag around the trim waist.

Altus hooks his fingers under the waistband, taking his time to push it down, and—oh.

Nayuta has seen many beautiful people in his life. And, if he’s being a little narcissistic, he knows how he himself looks, the gazes of others following him.

Altus isn’t a man – he’s a demon, with a physique to hammer home just how inhuman he was. Achingly gorgeous, built from strife and tempered by punishment, his body was a weapon that warranted being mounted at an altar, deserving of worship and praise. And if Nayuta were to find himself kneeling before said altar in the future, well…that was up to him.

Altus takes his hand, placing it on the ridges of definition of his stomach, the muscles jumping under Nayuta’s palm.

“Touch me,” he commands, disguising it as a plea. Something that could masquerade as Nayuta having the power with how breathless it sounds. “Don’t keep me waiting.”

The alien rolls his eyes, an inelegant snort filling the space between them. “Your little strip tease kept me waiting, so I don’t see why I shouldn’t let you suffer in return.”

“Ah, a punishment? How cruel.” There’s a laugh that colors the words, revealing the amusement the oni feels as he shakes his head. “What if I apologize?”

“Oh?” Nayuta raises a brow curiously.

But Altus is already lowering his body, humming in contemplative understanding. Nayuta only twitche slightly as his mouth touches the slope of his chest, but hisses and jerks as the press of teeth to his nipple.

“This is your idea of an apology?” he hisses out, gathering a fistful of hair in an attempt to tug the lustful beast away. But the sharpness of his words turns into the softness of a moan as the stinging is soothed by a tongue, and the grip on Altus’ hair slackens.

Altus doesn’t say anything, but his eyes look at Nayuta through the heavy fan of his lashes as he starts his slow descent down the alien’s body. At times worshipful, licking over the definition of his stomach, kissing the indentation of his navel; and at turns cruel in the sucking nips that leave marks, darkened by teeth.

Down, down, down, until Altus nuzzles against the inside of his thigh. The action is soft, but the heaviness of hunger in his gaze contradicts the mask he has chosen to wear, the wolf bleeding through the skin of the lamb, gazing at him with the eyes of a predator through the soft curls of wool.

“Altus,” Nayuta warns, but anything that might come after is lost in a jumble of syllables and tittered consonants as that grinning mouth swallows him whole.

The teasing is torturous, the suction and the swallowing, leaving Nayuta to arch and cry out his pleasure as his hands scrape over dark hair and the ivory of a horn, trying to find something to hold onto before he fell. His nails scratch and claw, palms growing sweaty as the oni bobs his head, humming around the intrusion in his throat. There isn’t any kindness to be found in the act despite how intense it is, not with how Altus chuckles at Nayuta’s struggles.

The oni pulls off, licking his lips, grinning how at glower that is leveled at him.

“Is something the matter, darling?”

“Don’t call me that,” Nayuta spits, attempting to close his legs and trap that annoying face between his thighs.

But big hands impede that, holding his legs open with minimal strength.

“Oh? Is there something else you would prefer?”

“My name.”

Altus ignores him, adopting a look of contemplation that does little hide his mischievousness. “My heart? My dear?” His face brightens, but Nayuta’s stomach sinks. “Ah, how about mine?”

“How about you shut up and get on with it?” Nayuta says, voice monotone, but the tremble in the middle of his words gives him away.

The predator latches onto that small weakness and smiles.

It is not a kind smile.

There are far too many daggered edges and sharp teeth for that.

Oh no, it was the kind of smile that would smother itself against the paleness of his thighs, to leave marks that would proclaim just who had defiled his skin. A sloppy signature Nayuta would feel with each step, bone-deep and aching.

“As you wish, husband mine.”

There is no time to gather slashing words and unleash them – Altus flips him onto his front with startling ease, guided by his falsely gentle laughter and wicked hands that grip his hips. The world spins, leaving Nayuta breathless and disoriented for a moment, but it snaps back into startling clarity as he feels those broad palms stroke down to his ass, groping the cheeks and pulling them apart to inspect the intimate skin between.

“You’re so small,” is the wondrous praise he hears, shivering as a curious finger slides down the humid valley.

“I’m not small,” Nayuta grits out, sure that the flush on his face is from anger and not embarrassment. Well, at least he tells himself that.

“Ah, but compared to me, you’re practically,” and the beast of a man leans down to his ear, the breadth of his chest pressing against Nayuta’s back and bleeding heat, “tiny.” A kiss to the cartilage of his ear. “My sweet petite.”

“I’m not – ah!”

Any admonishing words fizzle on his tongue as Altus ruts forward, dragging the heated brand of his cock against Nayuta’s ass. It’s a threat as much as it is a promise, one punctuated by a harsh grind.

Altus shushes him gently, pulling back, mouth trailing kisses down the knobs of his spine. Between each, he layers soft, sweet words that don’t fit with the possessive touch of his hands as they slide down Nayuta’s sides.

“I’ve got you, Nayu,” he soothes, tongue dipping into one of the dimples on the alien’s lower back that frame the swell of his ass. “Here you can just let go. No one else can see you but me. You don’t have to be so tightly wound up.”

It’s easier said than done.

Nayuta is used to betrayal and cunning schemes he has to outplay before he’s even step foot on the battlefield that was a corrupt business meeting. Trust, he comes to understand, is hard to find and harder to keep.

Each kiss seeks to undo him, to unwind those tight strings of control he keeps to protect himself. A flimsy shield, really, that cracks and bends under the weight of affection that Altus shows him as thumbs press to either side of the clenching muscle of his entrance, testing the tightness as it is pulled open.

Nayuta shatters further at the first touch, at the stroke of a wet finger that leaves him to bite down on the pillow to smother the noises that churn in his throat. They’re horrible things, that are more truthful than him, of broken moans and bitten off hitches of breath he fights to keep down.

Two fingers slide between his mouth and the abused pillow, pressing inside and laying heavy on his tongue.

“Let me hear you,” is the dangerous command, spoken in a low whisper as Altus pushes himself back up, mouth against Nayuta’s ear as his other hand works to open his body.

When a second fingers bullies itself in alongside the first, Nayuta bites down on the knuckles, but even that can’t stop the lewd sounds that echo in the bedroom.

Altus hums, pleased. “There we go.”

Nayuta levels a betrayed look over at the oni, tears clinging to his lashes as the skin of his shoulders threaten to melt into tendrils so he could choke the life out of the man. But it fades as rough fingertips stroke over something that make him arch, punching a broken sound of him.

And Altus hones in on it, a hunter that can sense the weakening of his prey as his fingers press back in, the broadness of his palm smacking against the curve of Nayuta’s ass from the force. Again and again, a third finger sliding in, until Nayuta can taste the stars on his tongue from where he drools around the fingers that keep his mouth open.

He doesn’t come, no – instead Altus pulls his fingers out of his mouth and his ass, murmuring soft words of praise that are interspersed between the kisses he presses to the alien’s shoulders. Nayuta expects for the emptiness to be replaced quickly with a hard sort of bluntness, face down and hips up, where he could pretend this was just some anonymous hookup and leave it in the past.

Naturally, that doesn’t happen.

No, not with this odd creature who pulls him into the cradle of his lap, wrapping his thinner legs around the oni’s waist as Altus kisses him. First on the mouth, then on his cheeks, the weapon of his mouth trailing down his neck where he sucks a dark mark that Nayuta will yell at him later for.

“Like this,” Altus whispers, looking up at him imploringly from where he kisses the protrusion of his collarbones. “Let me have you like this.”

He presses a kiss in the valley of Nayuta’s chest, desperate and hungry.

It’s stupidly intimate and annoyingly appealing.

Nayuta rolls his eyes tiredly, reaching back to stroke the hardness that presses up against the valley of his ass. “Don’t beg. It’s uncouth. Now shut up and help me.”

Nayuta lifts himself enough to press the tip of the erection against where he is prepared, helped along by Altus’ eager hands that hold him open. The first initial breach, as Nayuta starts to lower himself, is the worst. He breathes through his nose, forcing himself to relax as he continues his torturous descent down. Altus aids him by keeping him steady, his eyes unerringly watching his face that twitches and flinches as he continues his journey.

When the skin of his ass finally touches thick thighs, Nayuta gives a trembling sigh as his body acclimates to the intrusion. A warm hand wraps around his flagging erection, stroking it as Nayuta shakes at the overwhelming feeling of being full.

“Stop that,” he hisses, weakly batting at the hand.

But a roll of the hips under him stops him as he lets out a soundless moan, body tensing as his prostate is stimulated.

“Oh, if you thought I was just going to take my pleasure and leave you with a reason to hate this,” and the oni drops his voice, something terrible in the rolling rumble of it that reminds Nayuta of distant thunder, “then I must dissuade you of such defaming ideas.”

Before Nayuta can take a rattling breath, Altus moves.

He leans back, dark hair splayed out beneath him as he takes Nayuta’s waist in his hands and starts to shift his hips. The grip is tight and unyielding, strong as it lifts him just to pull him back down to meet the sharp slap of skin against skin.

Nayuta’s darkened nail dig into the meat of Altus’ chest, needing something to hold onto as the oni fucks up into him unrelentingly. If there had been any intention on keeping this soft and sweet, it burns away under the passion. He can only cling and cry, falling limply down on the oni’s broad chest, as his waist gives out under the pressure of each thrust that sends him bouncing.

“Wait,” he attempts, voice cracking. “Wait, Altus—!”

The name slips out, unwanted and unbidden, and Nayuta knows he’s lost when he sees the victorious grin spread across the man’s face.

“I fear I’ve gone deaf,” the oni jokes, laughing at the look on his face. “I seem to only respond to a certain title.”

“Altus, please—!”

“I would listen, dearest, if my proper title was used.”

Shit. This is exactly why Nayuta hated giving up control.

“We’re not married,” he tries to spit out, but his mouth is lax from the pleasure that sits heavy in his stomach. “I’m not calling you by something you are not.”

The thrusts slow before they completely stop.

“Oh dear, it seems I’ve lost the ability to move. I simply don’t have the motivation.”

“You—” Nayuta cuts himself off, pushing up on shaky arms to send an accusing glare down at the amused face. “You wouldn’t leave me this way.”

“You can use me however you want, but you have to do all the work,” is the stupid, cheeky answer he gets.

They both know he is in no position to accomplish this. Not with his waist weak and his legs trembling from where he sits astride Altus like the jockey of some sort of finicky horse that has chosen not to participate.

Oh, he is so angry. This is what happens when you try to put trust into people – they played you like a fool. And yet in a contest of an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object, Nayuta knows the answer to the improbable solution.

Swallowing his pride, Nayuta grips one of the long strands of the oni’s hair, dragging that smiling face closer as he leans down.

Husband,” Nayuta sneers against Altus’ lips, feeling the smile against his mouth broaden at his surrender. “Now do your damn job—!”

He’s cut off as that powerful body rolls him, leaving him breathless and on his back, staring dumbly up at the man who hovers over him as Altus presses an apologetic kiss to one of his knees from the legs he has tossed over his shoulders. Nayuta is quick to shake it off, glaring, pushing himself up onto his elbow to demand an answer—

“Ah!”

—and falls back down as his arms give out from the punishing thrust.

“What a good boy.” Pleased with his whimpers and jumbled noises, Altus gives an appraising hum. “Was that so hard?”

“You bitc—ah!”

Bent in half, Nayuta holds no power in this position.

The onslaught of pleasure is inescapable. Altus holds in him such a way he has no place to anchor his hands besides the oni’s shoulders, digging his nails down until they bite into the marked skin.

“Say it again,” Altus insists, leaving no room for Nayuta to say no as he bites down the column of the alien’s throat, punctuating his command with a fluid thrust of his hips.

No, Nayuta thinks stubbornly, biting his lip to remind himself not to give him. No, he wasn’t going to—

“Please, my darling?”

Fuck, that wasn’t fucking fair.

The softness of the plea rounds out the roughness of the previous demand. It’s manipulation, pure and simple, but the gentle kisses that follow the stinging bites break him just a little further. Nayuta can still see the wolf in the glint of those teeth, see the hunger in that gaze despite how he recedes into his sheep’s skin, hiding away the darker parts of himself to get what he wants.

And, dammit, Nayuta is going to give it to him.

Not because he’s caving, oh no, but because he wants this to end as soon as possible.

At least that’s what he tells himself as he meets each thrust with a downward shift of his hips, the sharp slap of skin meeting skin loud in his own ears as he grits his teeth in a mockery of a smile up at the man who fucks him.

Husband,” he repeats, filling it with as much venom as he can, hoping it will be enough to tranquilize the beast. “Is that what you want to, ah, hear?” He softens his tone, delicate and whimpering, sliding on his own predatory mask to meet the one above him as his dark tendrils shift under his skin, waiting for their moment. “Who knew that would be all it takes to make you this desperate.”

The inky black tendril forms, sliding out of his skin with a whisper. It slithers down, wrapping around the base of Altus’ cock, stymieing his building pleasure.

Instead of the punishment Nayuta was going for, Altus shivers in what the alien can only interpret as restrained delight.

“Oh, Nayu, I didn’t realize you wanted to play.”

His name, purred out in that wicked tone, does not bode well for him.

And he finds out quickly how much Altus likes to play.

In the end, pressed face down into the bedding, a hand on the back of his neck while his tendrils grip Altus’ thighs to help propel him forward, after what feels like hours upon hours, Nayuta shatters. Sharp and static, leaving him gasping into the sheets that are wet from his sobbing and demanding words that urged the oni to go faster, harder, right there

The grip on his neck loosens, replaced by smothering kisses as Altus continues to piston his cock into his overstimulated body as he lays there limply. When the kiss becomes a bite, the hips slam forward, and Nayuta feels the liquid heat fill him. Obscenely hot, trailing down his thighs when the oni pulls away, pooling underneath his knees that are the only thing propping him up.

He’s pulled onto his side, tugged into the all consuming heat of an embrace he begrudgingly accepts, because it wasn’t like his legs were working well enough to use them to kick the annoyance out of his bed.

Yes, that was his excuse and he was sticking with it. It wasn’t like the broad chest behind his head provided any comfort despite how…fluffy it was. No, he was just laying in the cradle of Altus’ arms to regain his breath and rest a bit, that was all. Then he would unleash fury.

…maybe.

…possibly after a bath, provided the oni did his due diligence and helped him. He couldn’t scrub his own back after all. And Altus could wait on him like he had promised.

“’m tired,” he whispers, voice hoarse. “You better take responsibility.”

The oni hums in confirmation, stroking hot hands over his stomach while his mouth kisses comfort into the slope of his shoulders.

“Your wish is my command.”

And then ship ruins the gentle atmosphere by playing the wedding march.

Altus pauses, tilting his head in thought. “What is that?”

“Nothing,” Nayuta mumbles, slitting his eyes open to glare at the ceiling. “Just some music.”

“It sounds ceremonial. Ship, what is this song—?”

“Don’t answer him!”

“It is a song traditional found on Earth that is played during wedding ceremonies, Master Altus.”

A clap track plays, and Nayuta is going to make do with ripping out whatever humor module has been set into the damn ship and incinerating it. Because he can feel the grin that is pressed to the back of his shoulder as Altus starts to say, “So, about our ceremony—”

“Don’t ruin the afterglow.”

A deep chuckle, and a kiss is pressed to the back of his neck. “Of course, dear. We’ll discuss it later.”

“We’re not going to discuss it at all.”

“Well, if you just want to say we eloped—”

“I’m going to strangle you.”

“Darling, breathplay shouldn’t be until the first anniversary—”

Altus only chuckles as Nayuta attempts to wrap a black tendril around his throat.
