Milk me dry!

Summary:

Jungbae's farm has been a safe haven for many hybrids throughout the years. For Gihun, who has been living there for eight years, it's not different. However, the guilt of not being able to fulfill his duties as the sole cow on the farm eats at Gihun. No matter how hard he tries to get pregnant or produce milk, he has failed repeatedly throughout the years he has been on the farm, but he's determined to make it happen, no matter what.

But a chance meeting with an abused calf and his older brother might throw a wrench into Gihun's plans, and it might turn something completely unexpected.

Something Gihun had never even dared to hope he would have again.

A herd.

Notes:

Merry Christmas everyone!!!
This is my Christmas gift for the lovely Jam! Hope you like it and it fits what you had in mind when you wrote your wishlist.

This was inspired by an AU the amazing Pidge made, you can check her art on twt (@OtterPidge), which was based on the manhwa Mr. A's farm. However, you don't really need to know anything related to it, and the story should be easy enough to follow, as I put my own spin on it.

As stated on the tags, there is a brief scene that shows abuse and violence towards hybrids, so be careful if that's not your cup of tea. I also took some liberties with Gihun's anatomy that don't really align with reality for plot purposes, hope you don't mind.

As for the cattle breeds Inhun are: Gihun is a black Highland cow, while Inho, and therefore Junho too, is an American Milking Devon. You can look up pics if you are curious.

Also, while I wrote this, I planned so much lore and backstories for it, so if you're curious about anything, feel free to ask me in the comments.

Lastly, a million thanks to sleeptalks for all his help and support while I wrote this fic, and for giving it one last read before the due date, and to sanss for all the encouragement. You guys are the best!

Work Text:

“I’m sorry, but this time it didn’t take either. Gihun is not pregnant.”

Gihun’s ears and tail dropped in disappointment. He had been hoping this time it would finally be it. The last bull who had taken him had poured and poured cum inside him for hours, and Gihun had borne with it, despite the discomfort and the exhaustion that clung to his every cell, just in the hopes he could finally have that calf he so desperately desired.

And it had been for nothing.

The familiar ache in his chest that had been present since the very first time he had been told he wasn’t pregnant, despite having spent his every cycle with a bull for almost a year, stung him deep. He wasn’t a young cow anymore, and the more time it passed, the worse the ache felt.

“What can we do?” Jungbae, the farmer who had taken in Gihun—his human, his family—asked, patting Gihun’s hand comfortingly. “Gihun stopped spending every month with a bull as you told us, and now instead just does it every season, but that doesn’t seem to have worked either.”

The doctor sighed, giving Gihun a pitying look, to which Gihun quickly averted his eyes. The last thing he wanted was to feel pitied. It reminded him how useless and broken he was.

“You already know that, having in mind Gihun’s condition, it’s already hard for him to get pregnant, but added to that, I feel that his not being exclusively mated to a single bull might be making the situation worse. Have you–”

“I have tried! It’s not exactly easy to find a bull willing to mate for life, you know?” Gihun snapped petulantly, stomping his foot on the floor as his tail swished back and forth in frustration.

And lord knew he had tried. After every mating, he would try to get closer to the bull that had come exclusively just to breed him. Jungbae had even made arrangements so that in the early years of Gihun living with them, he would attend events where he could socialise with some of them, but all the bulls he had met so far found Gihun odd. It didn’t help that he was, in fact, completely different from any other cow.

It was something none of the bulls he had met so far had taken very well.

You see, Gihun was a male, but he was still a cow. He had cock as any male would, but he also had a pussy—and even some semblance of breasts—like any other cow would have.

It was something often found in other hybrids, like birds or reptiles, but it was almost unheard of in cattle, let alone cows. The distinction was clear; there were male bulls and female cows, and Gihun was none of that; therefore, he didn’t belong amongst them.

The bulls didn’t mind dropping by for a quick fuck whenever Gihun was in heat, but none of them would ever even think about staying. That was why Gihun had resigned himself to being a single dad. It was fine; he would still have his little family and would finally be of service to the human family that had taken care of him for so long, as if he were one of their own.

“I know Gihun, but you understand that you need continued sexual intercourse with a bull in hopes of getting pregnant. At this point, it doesn’t even have to be during your heat. Due to your unique anatomy, your cervix is pretty high up, and while that doesn’t prevent pregnancy, it does lower your chances. Ideally, you would need a bull who has a high sperm count, but I’m aware how difficult that is.” She then turned to look at Jungbae and said. “The only option you have at the moment is either finding a bonding mate for Gihun or a bull who has never mated in his life.”

Gihun raised his eyes to look at her incredulously and scoffed.

Hybrid cattle breeds were known for their monthly heats, which meant mating occurred frequently. Only a bull who had had no access to a cow would have remained celibate, and with how common cows were, that was impossible. They would have a greater chance of finding an elite breeding bull willing to breed Gihun before finding a virgin one.

Jungbae simply sighed, knowing, as did Gihun, how stupid that suggestion was. “I see, thank you, doctor. We will look into your suggestions.”

Not ten minutes later, they were outside on the street, making their way back home. “Don’t worry, Gihun, that woman has no idea what she’s talking about. We’ll ask a second option.”

Gihun simply hummed, trudging alongside Jungbae. “Come on, pal, you will see, we will get you that calf you want.” As he said so, he rubbed behind Gihun’s furry ear, the place that instantly made him relax, and he leaned into the touch, eyes watering.

“It’s not fair. I just want someone I can call my own,” he sobbed as he clung to Jungbae.

He felt so useless. He was a cow that couldn’t produce calves, a cow that didn’t make milk. What was he even a cow for?

“I’m a defective cow!” He wept, bending down to hide his face in Jungbae’s shoulder. People were ogling them, blatantly looking at them as they passed, but neither of them paid them any mind.

“You’re not defective, Gihun-ah. You might not be a dairy cow, but you’re a very stunning highland cow who one day will find a bull who will love you just the way you are, and even if that doesn’t happen, you will have your baby and produce milk for them. We’ll find a way.”

Sniffling Gihun drew back and nodded. He didn’t really think that would be true, but he wanted to believe Jungbae. He had never lied to Gihun before.

Then, as they started making their way home again, a man approached them. “Happy Farm! Happy Farm! Come visit us! We have all sorts of hybrids to pet and play with.” He passed them a pamphlet, and when Jungabe was about to push him to the side, Gihun took it, looking at it.

He wasn’t that good at reading yet, but he understood enough to know that this was a place where children and adults could go in and interact with farm hybrids of all ages. It seemed there were even calves, kits, and chicks in there.

It reminded Gihun of the place he had been born and had grown up until Jungbae and his wife Seoyeon had saved him and taken them to their farm. But surely it wouldn't be the same. Those types of abusive open farms had been closed long ago by the government, so even if hybrids didn’t really have many rights, blatant abuse was no longer tolerated or legal.

Just thinking about the place of his childhood and early adulthood still made Gihun tremble in fear. But maybe this was it.

Maybe he could make himself useful like this.

He had always longed to repay the Parks for their kindness and love, but was never able to, due to his inability to become pregnant.

Seoyeon was always on the lookout for rotten places like this, eager to tear them to shreds if they were illegal, or at the very least to have the right people stop funding them so that they would close.

He might not be pregnant, and might never be, but perhaps he could at least be of use in this way. If he found any valuable information for her, she might realise she hadn’t taken in Gihun for nothing.

“Let’s go, Gihun-ah.”

“I want to go to this place,” Gihun said in reply. At Jungbae’s disbelieving gaze, he quickly added. “I want to see if things have changed back from when I lived in that place,” he quickly said, hoping the flimsy excuse would be good enough for Jungbae.

“I don’t really think that’s a good idea. You know how horrible those places are,” Jungabe said, unconvinced.

“Please!” Gihun begged, widening his eyes and dropping his ears, tilting his head slightly to the side to appear more vulnerable and pitiful. It always worked on Jungbae.

“Ah, alright.” And this time it was no different. Jungbae caved immediately, and Gihun got exactly what he wanted. “But you'd better keep your mouth shut about this. Seoyeon will kill me if she finds out I took you to one of these places.”

Gihun winced at the mention of Seoyeon. It had been her—Jungbae’s wife who had dismantled the illegal hybrid farm Gihun had been living in. Had it not been for her, Gihun might still be stuck in that place.

Out of all the people he could have ended up with, he truly had lucked out. She was an attorney and an activist who had been pushing for legal reforms in hybrid rights for decades now. And with Jungbae having his own little farm, she didn’t hesitate to bring in farm hybrids that needed a new place to live.

“Yeah, let’s not tell her that…” Gihun conceded.

Almost too soon, they reached the entrance. There was no fee for entry, only to interact with the hybrids. As they made their way inside, Gihun started involuntarily trembling; the sight of those cramped and bare pens where a bunch of hybrids of all species were put together made him queasy. It was all too similar to the housing he had in the place he had once called his home and his prison.

Not even five minutes had passed, and Gihun was already regretting his decision. But he steeled himself and endured the fear he felt pouring out of his every pore. This was for the sake of Seoyeon and these poor hybrids that were suffering for no reason at all, except for the enjoyment and entertainment of other humans.

He looked around himself and felt like crying, but at the same time, a familiar rage was building up inside of him, burning like lava coming out from a volcano.

The humans laughed and cheered as they forced the hybrids to cater to their whims, taking pictures of them as they threw food on the ground for the bunny hybrids to eat. Riding on the backs of the horse hybrids as if they were real horses.

Gihun felt like throwing up.

A few of the hybrids met Gihun’s eyes, and what he saw in them crushed him. Their eyes were dead, soulless, after so much abuse. Resigned to a life of servitude and torture at the hands of their human handlers and visitors. Gihun knew that look; he had seen that look in the mirror every morning for years.

His lip trembled, and his ears stayed glued to his skull, his whole body screaming fear and sadness.

Then he heard a scream, and a sound that, although he had never heard before in person, he knew in his very bones was the sound of a calf in pain. His body turned on its own, and as soon as he had processed what was happening on the other side of the recint, he began running.

Jungbae followed hot on his heels. His human friend was screaming something at him, but Gihun couldn’t hear him. His full attention was focused on the small calf hybrid who was crying in pain as a human child pulled on his ears and horns, making the calf bend so the child could climb on his small back. Gihun let out an instinctive high-pitched moo, angry and desperate.

The young calf—a bull now that Gihun could see him and smell him from up-close—had had enough, and even if he was small, he was still strong, so with all his strength, he pushed the human boy, making him fall face-first on the ground. Gihun rushed, his lungs burning at his harried pace.

He knew what happened in these instances.

Hybrids were never allowed to rebel, and if they did, punishments would be given. Gihun had been very familiar with those.

Sure enough, the human who looked to be the one overseeing that part of the petting farm rushed and quickly helped the human boy up, only to turn around and slap the calf, hard enough to make him fall to the ground.

The calf began crying and screaming as the human reached into his tool kit and took out a whip.

Gihun mooed louder, pushing people out of his way.

The calf was screaming louder, calling for help. “Hyung! Hyung!” he shouted, and as Gihun rushed, he looked around him when he heard a commotion and loud grunts.

Then Gihun saw him and had to swallow a gasp.

Pulling a carriage full of people, there was an adult bull, his torso naked, with only the harness to pull the carriage strapped to his chest, running towards the calf, even as he was being whipped and pulled harshly in hopes of stopping him.

Gihun knew the bull would never be able to reach him in time, but Gihun would. Just as the human raised his arm to whip the calf directly on the face, Gihun jumped, covering the calf with his body and wrapping him in his arms.

He gasped when he felt the familiar feel of a whip on his back, and then bit his lip until it bled, doing his utmost best not to scream. The only thing that gave him the courage to endure it was the warm but trembling form of the calf in his arms.

No matter what they did to him, Gihun would protect him with everything he had.

The calf clung to him and whimpered as the human began shouting, and Gihun shushed him, nuzzling into the little boy’s soft hair.

“What the fuck?! Get out of the way, you useless thing!” He yelled at Gihun, kicking him on the back.

Gihun grunted, but didn’t budge; instead, he pressed the calf closer, hiding him from view. He closed his eyes and prepared himself for another hit when he heard Jungbae screaming.

“Get away from my hybrid!”

Gihun turned his head slightly and saw Jungbae between them and the other man who had just whipped him.

“Don’t even dare lay another hand on him! He’s a certified S-rank hybrid,” Jungbae warned, chest heaving as he regained his breath.

Gihun saw the other man pale at his words and felt himself smirking despite the pain. In times like this, he was thankful for his oddities, as they had perks like this.

Every hybrid owned by humans, either as a pet or an exhibition hybrid, was given an official certificate that graded their uniqueness. The rank went from as low as F, for mixed hybrids of no discernible breed or ‘value’, to S for hybrids the government considered unique and valuable. If a hybrid was an A or S-rank, they were given more rights and protections than other hybrids, as, according to the government, they were more valuable and worth more to them.

In Gihun’s case, it had been his puzzling anatomy that had been enough to grant him his S-rank class. This meant that if anyone were to injure him, Jungbae would be entitled to compensation that could either be monetary or equivalent to that amount in another way.

Gihun felt himself relax as the human instantly began apologizing to Jungbae, bowing deeply as he sent fretful glances at Gihun’s back, which was no doubt, profusely bleeding as the whip had been a barbed one.

He unwrapped his arms around the calf and tried to pull back a little to assess the damage on the little bull’s face, remembering the slap he had gotten from the human before. However, when Gihun tried to push him from where he had hidden his face in Gihun’s chest, the calf let out a pitiful bleat of protest.

“No! Don’t go!” he pleaded, wrapping his arms around Gihun and taking fistfuls of his shirt in his small balled hands, but in the process, his fists dig painfully into Gihun’s injured back, and when he let out a gasp of pain, the boy let go, instantly pulling back in fear. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry!”

Gihun could faintly hear Jungbae arguing with the other man, pulling out papers and arguing compensation and settlement, aside from the commotion behind them. However, he didn’t pay it any mind; his whole attention was on the boy now looking at him with teary eyes, body trembling in fear. His cheek was red and swollen. Gihun placed a careful hand on it and, with a feathery touch, he caressed the inflamed skin.

“I’m okay, and I’m not going anywhere. I just wanted to make sure you were okay,” Gihun explained, and the calf leaned into his touch despite the pain he must have felt at the pressure of Gihun’s hand on his injured face. “What’s your name?”

“Junho,” the boy said, looking at Gihun as if he couldn’t truly believe he was real.

“What a beautiful name,” Gihun said, petting Junho’s ears to help him relax a little, just like his mom used to do with Gihun when he was a calf. “My name is Gihun, nice to meet you.”

Junho shyly smiled, and was about to say something else when the commotion and screaming grew louder and closer. Finally,  the bubble Gihun had wrapped around himself and the boy burst, making him register the deep growling voice that kept screaming Junho’s name in distress.

The bull, Gihun realised.

“Junho! Junho! Where are you?” The bull shouted, eyes panicked as he urgently mooed, calling out to the calf.

By then, on the entrance of the pen, all the other hybrids had left, and a lot of humans were clogging the entrance, and with Gihun and Junho curled on the floor, against one of the wooden fences, it was no wonder the bull couldn’t find them. “Is that your family?” Gihun asked when Junho’s head turned towards the voice.

“Yes, that’s my older brother. Hyung! Hyung! I’m here!” He shouted, getting up on shaky feet as he raised his hand wave at his brother.

Gihun turned around with some effort and got on his feet as well, spotting the bull who now sported a bloody mouth and nose and a few whippings of his own. This time there was no carriage behind him, and the harness he had worn before was slightly torn, something he had clearly done himself in his rush to reach his brother.

Gihun felt his stomach flutter. It took him back to the times he still had his mom and his herd, back before Gihun had been deemed too valuable to stay with them and had been promptly separated and isolated from his kin.

That deep bond, that care and love, he saw reflected in the brothers’ eyes as they both reached for each other and clung desperately to one another. Gihun was familiar with it, and seeing it for the first time in over a decade made his heart ache.

Not a minute later, after the bull had gathered Junho in his arms, more humans came in running and tried to get to them, but Gihun moved in front of them and covered them with his body, his tail high in the air, head lowered as he scruffed the floor with his shoe, looking at them dead in the eyes with his horns pointed at them, daring them to even think about approaching the brothers. Luckily, the humans didn’t dare, with the threat of Gihun being an S-rank hybrid hanging over their heads, and his pointy and deadly horns aimed at them, they simply observed, waiting for Jungbae and the owner of the place to reach a compromise.

“My people will be in contact with you,” Jungbae said, and Gihun was well aware he meant Seoyeon and her people would be in contact with them. She always encouraged them to use her name for these types of situations and Jungbae always did so happily. “Gihun,” he then said, and Gihun turned his attention to him, finally pulling his eyes away from the men who had come to get Junho’s brother, for just a moment.

“Yeah?” He replied, letting Jungbae know that despite still keeping an eye on the other humans, he was paying attention.

“What would you want as compensation?” Jungbae asked, smiling at the sudden outrage that burst from the humans the moment Gihun was asked for his opinion.

Gihun smirked and directed his gaze at every single one of them, eyes glinting mockingly, and enjoyed the way their faces went red. These types of humans were nothing more than monsters, and he had always taken pleasure in taking them down a peg, as there was nothing more insulting to them than being looked down on and ordered around by the very thing they considered inferior and unworthy.

Sending one last look at the brothers, Gihun came to a decision. As much as he would have liked to have the owner pay an exorbitant amount of money to leave him penniless for having allowed Gihun to get harmed in his property, he had more pressing matters.

This place would close, there was no doubt about it, after Jungbae made a police complaint about abuse towards an S-rank hybrid. Seoyeon would have more than enough grounds to have the place permanently closed and all the hybrids rehomed to a better place. However, that would take a while, and only Gihun knew the kind of hell the brothers would have to bear during that time, as there was no doubt in Gihun’s mind that they would be blamed for all that had happened.

No. Gihun wouldn’t allow it. He had to get them out of there before they could lay a hand on Junho or injure his older brother any further.

“I want that bull and the calf,” Gihun demanded, voice clear and unwavering as he locked his gaze with the owner of that rotten place, daring him to refuse. “And,” he added, letting a vindictive smile creep up on his face. “I want the human who hit the calf to bow and apologize to him.”

Silence was the only thing that could be heard; all humans were too stunned to speak, except Jungbae, who looked like he had known Gihun would ask for that all along, and perhaps he did.

Gihun could feel the burning gaze of the bull prickling the back of his neck, and squared his back, body upright, unlike his usual slouch, head held proud. He might never get used to flaunting his S-rank status, but if faking confidence and self-importance was what it took to save his kin, then he would do it over and over again.

“You heard him,” Jungbae said, shifting his gaze towards the man who had hit Junho and had whipped Gihun, his warm, amicable smile turning into something sharp, more akin to the way Seoyeon smiled. “Apologise,” he demanded.

The man began protesting, spitting insults and vitriol at Gihun, but the owner shut him up with a mere raise of his hand, and with the flick of his hand, the man was subdued. Biting his lower lip, eyes full of hatred and rage, he approached them and knelt in front of Gihun, body angled towards where Junho and his brother were.

“I’m sorry,” he muttered slowly, as if just saying the words was more painful than the injuries he had caused Junho and Gihun.

“No,” Gihun said in reply. And almost all heads turned to look at him. “We don’t accept your apologies. Now let us go.”

The owner scoffed in amusement and looked at Gihun from head to toe, appreciatively. Gihun felt like kicking him in the teeth. “You’ve got a feisty one right there. I like it,” he said with a grimy smile. Then he turned his head to one of his men and said, “Bring the papers of those two and the contract of ownership transfer. The rest of you can leave.”

The man complied, and soon after, only Jungbae and the owner remained in the small pen, and only then did Gihun let himself start to relax. His shoulders dropped slightly, and his ears flickered to release some tension. He would not fully calm down until they left that rotten place, but at least he felt more confident that he would be able to get them out of here.

He turned towards the brothers, trusting that Jungbae would keep them safe enough in the meantime.

“Are you alright?” Gihun softly asked, directing his gaze towards the bull who had Junho behind him, covering him with his muscled body.

“Why?” The bull asked in reply. When Gihun furrowed his brow in confusion, he elaborated. “Why did you save my brother?” And after a moment, he hesitantly added, “or me…”

“He needed help, of course, I would help him,” Gihun replied, and after a moment, he murmured, “and I know what it’s like to live like this. I’m sorry I didn’t ask for your opinion on this, but would you like to come with me?”

Junho’s brother shared a look with the calf and almost instantly both nodded.

“Any please would be better than this. Just promise us you won’t separate us,” The bull asked, eyebrows furrowed in worry as his hold tightened around Junho.

“Of course not!” Gihun shouted, outraged that the bull would imply he would do anything like that. But after seeing the conditions they lived in, Gihun couldn’t blame him.

For a while, Gihun didn’t say anything, instead lifting his hand and cleaning the blood from Inho’s face with the hem of his shirt, softly brushing it away so as not to hurt the bull. The bull in question simply let him, closing his eyes slightly as he leaned into Gihun’s touch.

Gihun’s instincts were screaming at him to take both bulls to a secluded place and nuzzle and cuddle with them until the fear and the pain disappeared completely from their scents. However, he didn’t do any of it and instead helped both brothers clean themselves as best as they could and avoided any help they offered in checking Gihun’s back.

He didn’t want them to see the mess of scars he hid under his clothes.

“Can I ask your name?” He eventually asked the bull.

“I’m Inho,” he said, looking up at Gihun from his messy, overgrown bangs that covered his eyes partially.

“Nice to meet you. I’m Gihun,” he replied, smiling at Inho, and when that smile was briefly returned, he felt his stomach flutter, his tail swishing back and forth.

Gihun tried to focus on the pain in his back. This wasn’t the time to be thinking about how handsome and sweet Inho looked when he smiled. Gihun rarely felt any attraction towards bulls or any other hybrid outside of his heat, so this was quite new to him.

But then again, he was very different from any bull Gihun had ever met. Gihun was very knowledgeable about cattle breeds, but just by looking at them, he was unable to discern which one the brothers were. That meant they were either a mix or a rare breed, but the way their animal attributes looked completely similar indicated it might be the latter.

Gihun wondered how they had ended up in such a place when, just by their looks, they could have easily ended up in an exhibition centre, where the hybrids were treated moderately well and were given work as models or actors.

Inho was particularly attractive, and Gihun noticed the more he looked at him. He had a very muscled body, if slightly slim around the waist. His hair looked soft around his short horns, and his ears were just begging to be petted.

Oh lord.

Gihun felt himself blush. What an odd feeling. New and entirely out of place. Not the time or the place to be feeling any of this.

So shaking his head, he dispelled any thoughts away, and just in time, Jungbae came back with the papers, a considering look on his face as he looked from them to the brothers.

“Can we go now?” Gihun asked, looking at Jungbae.

“Yeah. Let’s go, I’ll call the Hybrids Hospital to have one of the doctors come over to treat everyone’s wounds and assess our new members,” Jungbae replied, and the moment a check-up was uttered, both Inho and Junho tensed up, looking worried, but tried to hide it.

“It’s okay, Jungbae is not like other humans. He cares about us,” Gihun said in the hopes of calming down the brothers, but instead, Inho ended up moving slightly in front of Junho to hide him from Jungbae and Gihun.

It was a normal, understandable reaction after having been abused for such a long time, and yet Gihun couldn’t help the way his heart gave a painful squeeze. It was the same as always: Gihun got attached way too easily, and yet, there was something about this instance that told him it would be different.

“Humans are never good,” Inho said in reply, hatred and disdain cloying his voice.

“I know what you mean, but this time it will be different,” Gihun offered, and when that was met with a defensive scoff, he hid the hurt look that threatened to appear on his face, but his ears didn’t lie, and despite Gihun’s better efforts, they dropped pitifully, to which Inho simply averted his gaze.

“You will eventually see that our home is a safe place,” Jungbae said and began walking towards the car, Gihun in tow.

Gihun and Jungbae didn’t make any rushed movements and walked at a slow pace. Eventually, Inho and Junho approached them and began walking behind them.

“What do you want in exchange for taking us in?” Inho asked once they reached the car, looking sombre and resigned, as if he thought there was no way anyone would ever do anything for him out of the kindness of their hearts—which, to be fair, was something Gihun had also believed until he had met Seoyeon and Jungbae.

And even now, he sometimes woke up and struggled to fully come to terms with it.

“We don’t need anything from you, just you being fine and healthy is enough,” Jungbae said, and let out a sigh, sending a sympathetic look at Inho, something Gihun noticed the bull didn’t take too well, visibly bristling and grunting in response.

Without meaning to, Gihun let out a rumble of his own, meant to soothe and calm down, and the moment he realized he was doing it, he quickly shut his mouth and climbed into the car. However, when a moment later, both Inho and Junho climbed next to him, both visibly more relaxed, he didn’t regret going by his instincts quite as much.

“You’ll like the farm, I think. There are many hybrids there, but it’s not a place wehre we’re abused. It’s a place we can heal,” Gihun explained, softly petting Junho’s ears.

Inho let out a noncommittal hum, clearly doubtful of Gihun’s words, but Junho let out a smile, eyes shining brightly at the prospect of finally having a place to call home. Gihun hoped they liked it. It would be nice to have other hybrids of his own species.

To be truthful, he wasn’t quite ready to let go of Junho just yet, be it due to his nature, or the millions of hormones he had been pumped in recent months to help him get pregnant. Gihun’s fatherly instincts were up to the roof, and the idea of letting Junho go made him almost nauseous. The fact that Junho came with a very handsome brother was just a bonus.

“Is it very far away?” Junho asked after a while, clearly excited.

“Just a little,” Gihun replied, smiling down at the young bull.

However, Junho kept looking at him, face slightly scrunched in confusion as he sniffed the air in Gihun’s direction.

“What is it?” Gihun asked, smiling indulgently at Junho.

“Gihun hyung, what are you? You look a little like us, but you don’t smell like a bull,” Junho asked, curiously peeking at Gihun from where he was curled on Inho’s arms.

“Junho! That’s rude, you can’t ask those things,” Inho scolded, eyebrows furrowed, clearly flustered at his brother’s invasive questions.

Gihun burst out laughing, making the brothers direct their gazes towards him. “It’s okay, I don’t mind. I’m a male cow.”

At that, Junho furrowed his brow in confusion, and Inho's eyes widened slightly. “But how can you be a cow, but male? Is that why, despite being a cow, you have such big horns?” Junho asked.

Gihun smiled and patiently began explaining, the same way he did with anyone who asked about it. “There are so many hybrids that can be born with both sets of reproductive organs. You mainly see that in bird hybrids, but sometimes it can happen in other species. That was the case with me; I have all the characteristics of a male, but I also can bear children and produce milk like any other cow.” Or at least in paper he did, Gihun bitterly thought, as it stood so far, Gihun had never been able to do either of those. “As for my horns, it’s just due to what breed I am. Highland cattle always have horns, whether they are cows or bulls.”

“Oh, that makes sense. Then that means, despite being a male, you can be a mom?” Junho asked, eyes shining in something akin to awe.

Inho groaned in embarrassment, covering his face with one hand, and Gihun chuckled again. “I suppose so, yeah. I have never thought what my calves would call me.”

“You don’t have calves of your own?” Junho asked, looking more surprised if possible.

“No,” Gihun admitted quietly.

“You don’t have a bond mate then?” Junho followed up with another question. Despite the questions being slightly invasive, Gihun was happy to notice that, despite the abuse he had suffered, Junho still preserved some of the typical childhood curiosity that was so common in growing calves.

“Ah, no. Nothing of the sort for me. You are the only bulls that will live on the farm with me,” he explained with a smile.

“You don’t have a herd?” Inho then asked, shock almost palpable in his voice, as if the mere idea of Gihun not having any other cow or bull to keep him company was akin to blasphemy.

And perhaps, in a way, it was.

Back when his mother was alive, Gihun was incredibly close to his herd, but after she died and Gihun turned into an adult, he was kept apart, and that bond eventually broke. And after so many years living on the farm with the other hybrids, Jungbae and Seoyeon, Gihun didn’t miss it as much. But for someone like Inho, whose only reason for living seemed to be his brother, it must have been odd and almost lonely.

“Not any more, I used to have one many years ago, but we eventually found our separate ways.”

“Isn’t that super lonely?” Junho intervened, looking at Gihun worriedly.

Gihun smiled and bent down to nuzzle at Junho’s hair, flinching slightly when the injuries on his back brushed against the rough material of the car. When the brothers looked at him with worry, he just brushed them off and instead focused on Junho.

“It was in the beginning, but you will see that the farm is full of other hybrids, and we are all a big family. They have always treated me well, and I’m sure it will be the same for you two.”

“Does that mean you will be part of our herd now as well?” Junho asked, eyes hopeful, although there was a certain guardness behind them, as if he was getting ready to be rejected.

Just thinking about what Junho must have had to go through to expect rejection so easily makes his heart ache.

“If you would have me, I would be more than happy to,” Gihun said in reply and simply smiled when Junho threw himself at him, wrapping his arms carefully around Gihun’s middle, mindful as not to touch his back.

“We have never been around other cows before. I’m so excited!” Junho exclaimed, and when Jungbae sent Gihun a pointed look, he decided to ignore it.

Despite Gihun trying not to think about it, his brain instantly jumped to the conclusion that Inho must have never mated before. The possibilities made him heady, but he tried to ignore everything.

He had no idea what he might have gotten into, but he was happy to have intervened and gotten a herd out of it. Junho was a lovely calf, and Inho, well, Inho was certainly something…

Junho continued talking about his past herd and how it had always been him and Inho alongside other bulls, and that the only cow they had previously known was their mother, before they were separated after the place they lived at closed down.

Inho, for his part, just looked at them, his eyes melancholic and distant, but when he met Gihun’s gaze, that look turned almost hopeful, and when the bull smiled at Gihun, he knew everything would be well.

The road for healing was long, he knew, but he would do his best to be a safe place for the brothers.

Just as Gihun had expected, both brothers fit in right from the very beginning. Seoyeon took Junho right under her wing as she did with every juvenile hybrid that arrived at the farm, and helped them see that not all humans were rotten.

Junho was thriving under her care and had even begun learning how to read and write, attending the weekly classes Seoyeon pulled together for the hybrids who wanted to learn, and on the days he was free he would help Gihun or Jungbae with their tasks of caring for the actual animals of the farm, running with the sheep and the dogs, freely enjoying his childhood without anyone threatening to take away his freedom from him.

That being said, it couldn’t be said the same for Inho.

He had fit in seamlessly, yes, but he didn’t seem to be adapting that well. It wasn’t that odd as he seemed to have gone through a lot, but a few months had gone by since they had arrived, and instead of settling in and relaxing as time went by, Inho seemed to grow tenser and even more restless.

He looked happy and content to be on the farm and got along with everyone just fine, so Gihun wasn’t quite sure what the problem was or how to help him. That was usually Jungbae’s job.

While Seoyeon took care of their younger arrivals, Jungbae was usually the one to ease the adults into their new home, just as he had done with Gihun, Daeho, or Junhee before Inho arrived.

However, with Inho, it didn’t seem to be working. While he got along just fine with all the females and younglings, he seemed to have an issue with male hybrids and humans, such as Daeho and Ali. It didn’t seem to be founded on species, as Daeho was a horse hybrid and Ali a ram hybrid, but for some reason, it didn’t apply to Gihun.

While with all of them, Inho got weirdly antagonistic, although not outright hostile, with Gihun; he was always gentle and soft-spoken, always offering his help whenever they crossed paths on the farm while they performed their self-assigned tasks. It was sweet, the way he would always check on Gihun, or how he would invite Gihun into the grooming sessions he had with Junho.

With their arrival, Gihun had decided to take suppressants to stop his heat cycle from coming, deciding that bringing other bulls around the farm while Inho and Junho were still settling would be upsetting to them. And perhaps the idea of bedding any other bull when Inho was right there was what truly pushed Gihun to take the suppressants.

He tried to subtly let Inho know he was interested in being more than herd mates, but Inho remained completely clueless to the way he would tilt his neck invitingly, making his advances known. The way he would invite Inho to eat together or would offer a place for them to nap under the sun. The bull always accepted eagerly, but never took more than what Gihun offered.

In the end, Inho had made it all too easy for Gihun to fall head over heels for him, but as they grew closer, Inho seemed to grow more restless and tense. He worked from dawn to sundown; he always offered to help with more, and at the end of the day, that was the root of the issue.

“You know you don’t have to work until you drop dead, right?” Gihun jokingly asked him one day, after watching Inho carry three massive hay bales on each arm, the customary red undershirt and blue overalls that made their working uniforms, drenched in sweat.

“Do you need anything?” Inho asked him, ignoring the question completely, much like he did every time anyone, especially Gihun, tried to tell him he didn’t have to work or to stop pushing himself so much.

“Yeah. I need you to take a break for once. Come on, I just got us these.” Gihun rummaged inside his own overalls and pulled a couple of chocolate milk cartons.

Inho’s ears instantly perked, tail swishing back and forth in interest, but after only a moment, he shook his head and turned back to work. “Thank you, but I can’t. I still have to take the hay to the barn before nightfall. It’ll rain.”

“You can do that later, come on,” Gihun said, tilting his head just so to communicate his interest to Inho, but as always, Inho just blinked in confusion at Gihun’s advances. “Please?” Gihun begged, eyes big and pleading as he plastered his ears to his skull.

At that, Inho sighed in defeat, and Gihun hid a small smile. Inho might be completely clueless to Gihun’s hints, but even then, he wasn’t immune to Gihun’s ‘cow eyes’.

“Fine, but just for a moment,” Inho conceded and let down the hay bales he had hurling before.

Gihun sat on one and patted the empty spot next to him. Inho took that as his cue to sit next to him. After they opened their chocolate milk and quietly began drinking from the straw, Gihun finally broke the silence.

“You know no one is going to chase you away for taking a break, right?” When Gihun’s words were met with silence and a refusal to meet his eyes, he continued. “When Jungbae brought you here, he never expected anything in return. You don’t have to work in exchange for a warm meal and a place to stay. Hell, you’re not even doing that. I know that you refused the room Jungbae gave you and instead are sleeping in the barns with the rest of the animals.”

“You wouldn’t get it,” Inho simply grumbled, his eyes hard, clearly warning Gihun to drop the subject. But if Gihun hadn’t been born as a cow, he would have been a mule in another life, as he had never been anything if not stubborn.

“Try me,” he dared Inho, eyebrows raised as he noisily sipped his chocolate milk.

“You’re an S-rank hybrid. You don’t know what it’s like to be robbed of your rights or to be treated like you’re worth nothing. Even if the place you were in before coming here wasn’t as great, you can’t know what it was like for Junho and me. What you saw the day we met was nothing but a glimpse,” Inho said, grip on his carton of milk tightening slightly until some droplets began leaking out of the straw.

“I can finally offer Junho a place he can call home, a place he can grow free. I must ensure we stay here, and if I have to work for the rest of my life in any way I can, I’ll do so. We also have you now, and I– I can’t lose you. I will not give any excuse to Jungbae or Seoyeon to kick us out.”

“Do you really think Seoyeon would kick you, or Junho? You have seen how fond of him she is,” Gihun argued, swallowing the fury that threatened to consume him, ignoring the comment about not losing him for the moment.

“Maybe not now, but what about when Junho stops being cute and sweet?”

“I’ve been here for eight years, and not a single hybrid that has been brought here has ever been kicked out,” Gihun softly explained, and when Inho didn’t say anything, he got up. “You are the one who’s mistaken,” he said as he began taking his clothes off. “You have made so many assumptions about all of us, the other hybrids, the humans... You don’t trust us, and that’s fine. I understand why you don’t. Perhaps this is my fault as I didn’t want you to know just yet…”

“Wait, that’s not– what are you doing?” Inho stammered as he watched Gihun take off the top part of his overalls and the red shirt that was underneath, eyes wide open as he followed every single one of Gihun’s movements.

Gihun didn’t reply until he was completely topless and turned around, and after hearing Inho’s breath hitching, he finally spoke. “I might not know what you or Junho went through, but I know what it’s like to feel a prisoner and expecter of your own life. Before Seoyeon found me, I was nothing but a punching bag for the humans who abused my herd and me.”

“But– But you are an S-rank,” Inho said, voice trembling.

“You and Junho are too, and you know damn well that means nothing if the humans that own you are pieces of shit. They hid your rank from you, and for me, for my past owners, it just meant that they could rent me at a more expensive price,” Gihun explained, and when Inho came closer, a hand raised towards the whipping scars on his back and shoulders, he let him.

“I– I didn’t know,” Inho quietly muttered, his hand finally making contact with the rugged and raised skin on Gihun’s back. Touch careful and soft.

It made Gihun want to cry.

The only ones who had ever seen his scars were Jungbae, Seoyeon and the doctors who had treated him over the years. Gihun had never shown his scars to any other hybrid, let alone let them touch them, but for some reason, with Inho, it felt almost natural. Be it due to his growing feelings for the bull or the fact that Gihun considered him and Junho part of his herd now, it didn’t really matter.

“Of course you didn’t, I never told you, but that’s why you also have to stop making assumptions,” Gihun chastised.

“I’m sorry,” Inho said, and without any previous warning, he leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to Gihun’s back and nuzzled into it, making him flinch and shudder at the same time.

Gihun tried to hide the way his breath hitched with a clear of his throat, his face and the place Inho had so lovingly kissed, burning and feeling hot. “It’s fine, I was much the same when I arrived. It took me a while to trust them. And I would be a hypocrite if I told you I didn’t understand why you’re working like this.”

With that, Gihun put his clothes back on and sat next to Inho again, and when the bull took his hand and interlocked their fingers together, Gihun leaned in, their horns clunking as they pressed their shoulders together.

“I don’t see you working quite as much, though,” Inho quietly added after a while, to which Gihun burst out laughing.

“Are you calling me lazy?” He teasingly shot back, making Inho sputter.

“No, no! It’s just–”

Gihun, feeling more courageous than he had felt in years, closed the distance between them and brushed their noses together, forehead pressed against Inho’s, instantly making him shut up. Even if Inho had never been around a cow or bonded pairs, he had to know this was courting behaviour; it couldn’t be more obvious than this.

Gihun patiently waited for Inho to reciprocate the movement, and his patience was rewarded soon enough when Inho let out an awkward rumbling sound, one that signalled interest and affection and leaned into Gihun’s touch, nose brushing alongside Gihun’s, their lips briefly brushing together.

Inho then smiled and nudged him with his nose, a bellow leaving his mouth and nuzzled his cheek against Gihun’s. Gihun let out a giggle and clung to Inho, feeling the affection and love the bull was so freely offering.

His heart was hammering in his chest, and Gihun had never felt more alive.

This was it.

This was what he had been looking for all these years, this companionship, this care and this love. He had thought a calf would be able to give it to him, and maybe it would have, but what he had with Inho right now, with Junho, was much more than Gihun could have ever hoped for.

“I might not have been working all my waking hours like you, but I’ve tried to set unreal expectations on myself to pay Jungbae and Seoyeon back for what they did for me,” Gihun began explaining, drawing back slightly. Inho let him and listened attentively to him.

Gathering the courage, Gihun finally let it out. “After all, what use is a cow that can’t give milk or bear calves?”

Inho blinked in confusion, and then his eyes widened in horror when he realized what Gihun was implying. “You mean you–”

“Yeah, it wasn’t until you and Junho arrived that I finally realized how destructive my actions were,” Gihun admitted with a self-deprecating chuckle. “For the past eight years, I’ve been trying to get pregnant by any method possible. I wanted to provide milk to the humans who have saved me, and I thought that if I could get pregnant, that would also be proof that I’m not defective, that I deserve a family of my own and that my biology is not flawed.”

“You’re perfect that way you are, Gihun,” Inho said, eyes almost desperate as he gripped Gihun’s hands into his own. “Jungbae and Seoyeon love you immensely. They don’t need you to give them milk to prove that you are worthy of their love.”

“I– I’m starting to understand that now,” Gihun said, and then shifted his gaze to Inho’s rough, leathery hands. “I’m not great at that just yet, so… Perhaps we can help each other with it,” he finally offered, meeting Inho’s gaze from under his lashes.

“I would really like that. I–” he hesitated, but eventually continued. “I was scared of losing you, too, that maybe you would choose someone else, and you wouldn’t even look my way. On the first day I came, Daeho and Ali asked me if I was one of your bulls…”

“Oh.” Gihun considered the information for a moment, then asked. “Is that why you hate them so much?”

“I– yes. And they often get too close to you,” Inho quietly admitted, averting his eyes in shame.

Gihun, for his part, just smiled and bent down, leaning in and quickly closing the distance between them, pressing a lingering kiss on Inho’s mouth, their horns bumping against each other. “I like you too. I’ve liked you since I met you,” he admitted, to which Inho smiled and pulled Gihun into a more passionate kiss.

When they separated, he said. “I’ve liked you since then as well.”

“No way!” Shouted Gihun, huffing in disbelief. “You never answered to my courting signs, no matter how obvious I was.”

“Oh. Is– is that why you show me your neck all the time? I– I was never around any cows that weren’t my mother, and even that was limited, so I never quite learned about it,” Inho explained, eyes shocked, and suddenly it all made sense.

Gihun groaned in frustration. “I should have just said something. I’m so stupid.”

“You weren’t stupid. I was too much of a coward to say anything to you either, so it’s not only on you.” Inho rubbed the back of Gihun’s hand and pressed a chaste kiss to his cheek. They continued like that for a while, in silence, enjoying each other’s presence and warmth, until Inho spoke again. “So bulls came over here before. Were those your bed partners?” He hesitantly asked, curious but not judging in any way.

“If they could even be called that. They came over just in time for my heat and left right after they fucked me.”

Inho let out a displeased grunt, ears flickering in annoyance. “Did they ever hurt you?”

Despite everything, that was the only thing Inho cared about, not that Gihun had fucked bulls left and right and practically prostituted himself in the hopes of getting pregnant. If there was any possibility of Gihun falling more in love, this would have been it.

“No, it felt good enough, but that was mostly due to me being in heat. It certainly was never anything like this,” Gihun explained, a smile splitting his face, and kissed Inho.

“How come none came since Junho, and I arrived?” Inho asked, confusion clear in his voice.

“The day we met, the doctor told me I was not pregnant that time either, and after your arrival and Junho there, I thought it would make it harder for you to have other bulls around. I’ve been taking suppressants to avoid going into heat,” Gihun explained, and after a moment, he added, “Although that might just be an excuse I made for myself. I didn’t realize how much of a chore it had become until they stopped coming over. It was supposed to be only for a few months, but in the end, I couldn’t bring myself to ask Jungbae to make the arrangements again.”

“Have you been taking suppressants for the entire time?” Inho asked, worriedly. When Gihun nodded, he added, “Isn’t that dangerous?”

“If taken for too long, they’re, so that’s why for my next heat I won’t take them.”

“Oh.” Inho swallowed audibly, blinking repeatedly, as if to clear his head, tail swishing back and forth.

“Yeah,” Gihun said, slightly nervous. “I– Can I call you when my next–”

At the same time, Inho said, “If you want, I could help–”

Both of them stopped short and burst out laughing. “I’ll be counting on you,” Gihun said, leaning in and licking into Inho’s mouth.

Soon enough, what had been a playful lick and a peck on the lips turned into a full-blown make-out session, and if they had disappeared for another hour and came back with their lips completely red and swollen, that was no one else’s business but their own.

Life after that got even better if possible. Gihun was finally able to persuade Inho and, therefore, Junho as well, to sleep with him in his den, the one that was completely empty unless Gihun spent his heats with an unknown bull.

Now the three of them curled up in the massive bed that was littered with pillows and blankets every night, just like any herd would do.

Every day, Gihun woke up feeling grateful for the life he had, a little calf who followed after him and looked for guidance, just like any child would with their parent. A bull that hugged him every morning and told him how cherished and loved he was.

And perhaps Gihun might never be able to have calves of his own or be able to produce milk like any other cow would, but he finally had the family he had so dearly been yearning for. He had come to understand he had been punishing himself for not being what he thought Jungbae and Seoyeon expected of him, but after a tearful conversation with them, it had been made clear they only wanted the best for Gihun, nothing more and nothing less.

Inho also began healing, slowly but surely. He still woke up in the middle of the night due to nightmares and sometimes would punish himself by working himself to the point of exhaustion, but there were more good days than bad ones, and he no longer forced himself to do endless work, instead getting to know the other hybrids better and spending more time with Junho and Gihun.

All the while, Inho and Gihun patiently waited for his heat to start, and on a sunny spring day, almost a month after they confessed their feelings to each other, it finally arrived.

It had been so long since Gihun had gone through a heat he didn’t even realize it was coming until he was almost keeling over, Junho by his side as he collapsed to his knees, a wave of heat rushing through his body.

“Gihun hyung! Are you okay?” Junho shouted, dropping the brush that he had previously been using to brush the donkeys.

“Call your brother. Tell him I need him,” Gihun asked him, struggling to get back up again.

Never in his life had he felt like this. This was different. He had been warned his next heat would be difficult and more intense—a side-effect of the suppressants—but he had never expected it to be quite like this.

Junho took off, rushing outside of the barn as he shouted for help, calling for Inho.

Gihun let out a needy moo, a call for his mate as he moved on trembling legs towards the entrance of the barn. Not a second later, Inho was running towards him, Jungbae hot on his heels. Inho took him in his arms and hugged him tightly, easing the burning need in Gihun.

“Is he gonna be okay?” Junho asked worriedly.

“Everything will be fine. I’ll take care of him, but for now, you’ll have to sleep with Daeho and Ali, okay? Jungbae will explain everything to you,” Inho said, a croocked smile taking place on his face as Jungbae paled.

Gihun wished he could laugh or chastise Inho, but instead let out a groan when a painful cramp made his stomach lurch.

“Go. I’ll take care of Junho. We’ll have lots of fun, you’ll see,” Jungbae said, and with those words, Inho took Gihun directly into their den, closing the door firmly behind them.

Gihun’s den was far away from the other lodgings so as not to disturb them, back when bulls came over to help him with his heats.

He was used to this, being fucked and bred during his heat, but this time it would be different. This time, Gihun would be with someone he loved and cherished. Someone who loved and wanted him back, so despite being far from his first time, Gihun was nervous.

“I need you,” Gihun pleaded once Inho put him on the bed, brushing his rough hand through Gihun’s damp curls.

“And you will have me,” Inho said, pressing a kiss to his forehead. “All of me.”

Carefully, he began undressing Gihun at the same time as he quickly undressed himself, peppering kisses on every inch of his skin, as if Gihun was something utterly precious and valuable.

Something Gihun hadn’t realized was broken got pulled back together in that moment. He opened his legs, his pussy dripping and puffy, hole clenching around nothing. “Come on!” Gihun begged, looking at Inho’s dick in a clear invitation.

It was big, much longer and thicker than any of the bulls Gihun had ever been with, and lord knew he had been plenty of them.

Just the sight of Inho’s leaking red cock made his mouth water. He wanted it inside him, filling him and pumping him full of cum now. He would take his time tasting it later. He needed to be bred now.

Inho’s eyes were running down every inch of Gihun’s body, as if carving the memory of his body in his brain.

“Please,” Gihun begged, reaching down on himself with one hand and bypassing his cock, running his fingers down his small testicles and lifting them slightly to show his entrance to Inho, pushing the labia slightly apart with his fingers.

“Fuck,” Inho muttered, his tail swishing back and forth, ears flickering in excitement.

He was letting out a horny rumbling sound, one that Gihun wasn’t sure the bull didn’t realize he was making.

Growing impatient, Gihun turned around and presented himself to Inho, tail pushed to the side and ass moving from side to side invitingly. As he was about to scream to Inho to touch him already, the bull did, but not in the way he imagined.

The moment a wet, thick tongue swept from the tip of his cock all the way to his asshole, Gihun let out a shriek of surprise and pleasure.

Inho groaned and instantly began lapping at the fluids that began gushing out of Gihun’s needy cunt, carefully not to hurt Gihun with his horns. They might have been far smaller than Gihun’s, but they were still seizable and capable of harm.

“Oh my god, yes!” Gihun shouted, pushing his ass into Inho’s face. Instead of pulling away, Inho took Gihun’s ass cheeks in his hands and dove even deeper if possible, intent on devouring Gihun, tongue entering his hole.

The moment he felt Inho’s tongue swirling inside him, he came undone, letting a keening sound as he squirted and ejaculated all over Inho’s face, hard enough to almost black out.

By the time he came around himself—back arched and ass raised, face buried in the pillows—he was still trembling from his orgasm and the overstimulation of Inho still lapping at him, sucking and licking at Gihun’s cunt and cock. It was too much, but he didn’t dare ask Inho to stop.

It felt good, incredibly so. No other bull had ever gone down on him, too weirded out by Gihun’s dual set of reproductive organs. They usually took Gihun from the back to avoid seeing his cock.

In the end, this was as much of a first time for Gihun as it was for Inho.

“Fuck me, please, Inho. I need you to breed me,” Gihun asked, voice hoarse and weak.

At his words, Inho pulled away, and Gihun was able to turn on his back, and the sight that greeted him took his breath away. Inho’s hair was plastered over his forehead, the tips slightly dripping. His face was dripping wet and red, his eyes glazed, and his lashes clumped together.

Gihun pulled towards himself and slotted their mouths together, horns clumsily bumping into each other as they slopily shared a messy open-mouthed kiss. He tasted himself on Inho’s tongue and groaned into the bull's mouth, legs wrapping around him.

Blindly, Gihun reached between them and found Inho’s cock. He pumped it a few times, making the bull let out a rumbling groan. Then he lined it up with his entrance and with his legs, he pulled Inho towards him, making him put the tip inside.

Both of them moaned loudly at the intrusion.

“Fuck me, breed me. I’ve been waiting so long for you,” Gihun mumbled needily into Inho’s mouth.

“Shit!” Inho exclaimed, and just like that, he came. Cum spilling out as he barely had the tip of his cock inside. “Fuck, sorry, sorry!” Inho babbled as he body spasmed.

Gihun pulled him into his arms and shushed him, stopping the urge to lift his hips to take more of Inho. “It’s okay. It’s okay, you can still go on. Look how hard you still are,” Gihun said coercingly as he brushed the tip of his finger against the bulging member that was still barely inside him.

“Can I?” Inho asked, eyes glassy as he peered at Gihun.

“You can take me as many times as you want,” Gihun replied, brushing a kiss to Inho’s temple.

Bracing himself with his forearms on each side of Gihun’s head, Inho slowly pushed his cock deeper, making both of them groan in pleasure. He continued until he bottomed out.

Gihun panted and struggled to catch his breath, feeling the head of Inho’s cock reaching incredibly deep. He felt impossibly stretched, Inho’s cock deliciously brushing against his inner walls as the bull rocked slightly in place.

He felt a slight pressure, something he had never felt before but had been told about plenty of times by the fertility doctors.

This was it.

Inho’s cock was brushing against his cervix.

It was slightly uncomfortable, a pressure building from within, but at the same time it felt so good!

“More!” Gihun demanded, bucking his hips to seek more friction. “You feel so good! I’ve never felt anything like this.”

Inho let out a broken sound and didn’t waste a second, and began pulling out, only to slam into him with a hard snap of his hips. “You too, god. You feel so tight, fuck!”

Gihun let out a mewl as his cervix was pressed again. Inho’s thrusts were clumsy and slightly uncoordinated, typical of a bull who had never had any previous experience, and yet the way he softly ground his hips and rocked in place once he was balls deep inside Gihun, his cock kissing the entrance of Gihun’s cervix, made him see stars.

He had never thought mating could feel this good, this fulfilling and grounding. So brain-numbing and earth-shattering.

He grabbed Inho by the horns and pulled him closer, bringing their mouths together, mouth open as he encouraged Inho to slip his tongue inside.

They remained like that for a while, tongues tangled as they kissed and whispered sweet nothings to each other, Inho thrusting in and out of him, rhythm growing more and more erratic.

Gihun wanted this to last forever.

But eventually it all came to an end, and no matter how hard he had tried to cling onto his orgasm, refusing to let the moment end, it still came, and it hit him like a punch to the gut.

Inho’s pace had grown almost feral. He was grunting and bellowing as he chased his release, hips bucking, and when the bull finally came, burying himself as deep inside Gihun as he could, his hot cum shooting directly into Gihun’s cervix, he came too.

He let out a scream as his body convulsed, his eyes rolling to the back of his head, and his mind drifting into nothingness for a few seconds. As he slowly came back into himself, he noticed Inho was rocking his hips, body shuddering as he continued releasing into Gihun, his cum pooling under them as it spilled out.

“You have been holding that for a while, eh?” Gihun joked, voice wrecked and hoarse, as he petted Inho’s hair and ears.

He tilted his head slightly to press chaste kisses to his cheek and forehead as Inho slowly came down from the high of his orgasm.

“I suppose I was saving it all for you,” the bull replied weakly, mirth colouring his tone.

They both chuckled at that and shared a sweet kiss, full of love and promises.

Inho didn’t pull out, and Gihun didn’t ask him to. They made out for a while, petting and nipping each other, until Inho found his way to Gihun’s nipples.

“Look at your tits,” Inho said, voice reverent, and he rolled on his back and pulled Gihun on top of him, without pulling his cock out from inside Gihun’s cunt. “They were made to be sucked on.”

Without waiting another second, he put one on his mouth and gave it a hard suck, tongue playing with his puffy nipple.

Gihun let out a moan and carded his hands through Inho’s hair, pushing his head towards his chest with more urgency.

“You taste so good,” Inho mumbled as he squeezed and massaged Gihun’s chest, sucking on each nipple as if he were the tastiest treat.

Gihun, for his part, had begun rocking his hips, Inho’s cock brushing deliciously inside him. And the more he did, the harder it got. In no time at all, Inho was fully hard inside him.

And just like that, they started fucking like animals all over again. This time Gihun rode Inho as if his life depended on it, ass coming up and down as he fucked himself, cum sloshing with each thrust. He braced himself on Inho’s horns, making the bull groan in pleasure at the slight pressure Gihun was inflicting.

All the while, Inho hadn’t pulled away from Gihun’s nipples, and by this point, they were completely numb and tender, and he could feel a pressure building from inside them. It was an odd sensation, and one Gihun had never felt before, but it wasn’t entirely unwelcome, so he let it be, and as another orgasm came closer, so did the pressure.

It all came to a head the moment Inho squeezed one of his nipples between his fingers, his mouth latched onto the other. Gihun came with a shout, and simultaneously milk suddenly spurted out of his nipples.

Gihun watched in confusion, body trembling with the aftershocks of his release as Inho greedily drank his milk with a moan, his other nipple dripping as the bull continued massaging it.

Not even a second later, Inho followed suit and came inside him, grunting and harshly inhaling from his nose as he refused to pull his mouth away from Gihun’s chest.

Gihun hugged him and shuddered, moaning as Inho continued drinking from him, his mind still confused as to why now, he was finally milking.

Was it because of Inho and him having massaged his chest? Was it because of Junho’s continued presence, whom Gihun viewed as his child? Or perhaps it was due to the continued breeding that Inho and he had been doing for hours now.

Gihun had no idea, and brain muddled as it was, was unable to care about the reason, just the result that he had been able to produce milk, and outside of a pregnancy at that.

“Maybe the reason you haven’t been able to give milk until now was that you were meant to breastfeed,” Inho said, pulling away only to turn to the other nipple and latch eagerly to it, sucking and drinking the milk that came out, hips bucking at the same time.

Gihun gasped and rocked his hips at the same rhythm. “Maybe I just needed you to be able to fulfill all my dreams.”

Inho smiled and pulled away, milk slightly dripping down his chin. Gihun bent down and licked it, tasting himself.

“It’s sweet,” he commented. It was thick and rich, and much sweeter than any other milk Gihun had tasted before.

“Just like I always imagined it would be,” Inho replied, looking up at him.

“You have imagined what my milk might taste like?” Gihun asked, blinking in puzzlement, to which Inho blushed, realizing what he had said.

“Perhaps once or twice,” he replied, clearing his throat. “I want to get you pregnant, Gihun,” Inho then said. “I want to bond with you and give you a family we can raise together. I want to give that to you and Junho.”

Gihun felt himself tear up at that confession. He had never expected anyone to ever like him, let alone bond with him. And now here was Inho, the most stunning, gentle, and kindest bull Gihun had ever met, offering everything he had ever wished for, but never thought he would get.

“I want that too,” Gihun admitted, a single tear sliding down his cheek.

And when Inho lifted his head to kiss him, Gihun knew everything would be alright.

He might not get pregnant right away, or perhaps never, but if he had Inho and Junho by his side, Gihun wouldn’t mind it that much. He would be patient, and if it was destined to happen, then it would. In the meantime, Gihun would enjoy the luxury of having a mate all for himself.

However, three months later, his patience was rewarded when the doctor told him he was pregnant with twins.

The subsequent party that followed was something Gihun would never forget, and the happy tears that Junho shed at the news of being an uncle and finally having a proper herd of his own were worth every hurdle that life had thrown at them.

What mattered was that they were finally together, and only happiness awaited them.
