sungho knew he would never be jaehyun’s first choice.
how could he ever be?
jaehyun was everything.
his big brown eyes that always seemed to see everything, even when sungho was feeling the slightest bit down. his arms, that held sungho on nights where he didn’t deserve it. his heart, that was way too big for his own good.
jaehyun was the sun.
and sungho was just another asteroid in the night sky, admiring from afar.

sungho and jaehyun had known eachother for a long time.
since 6th grade, where they met on the first day of middle school.
sungho was shy, couldn’t make eye contact with anyone and didn’t know where to go.
jaehyun ran up to him and took his hand.
“Hi! I’m Jaehyun. Are you lost? I can help you, let’s go!”
he talked fast, tripping over his own words to get to the next sentence, like he had too many thoughts and had to get them all out at once.
he pulled sungho along to their first class, and from that day on, they were inseparable.
they shared everything, they were attached at the hip.
sungho thought nothing could pull them apart.
