Summary:

Only recently being adopted, your friends from the orphanage missed your presence there a whole lot, especially Robin.

Why not give you a visit?

Work Text:

Spotting someone as you step outside for some fresh air, you see a familiar sight coming into view as you step closer to the gate that divides you both. It’s Robin!

“Hey,” he has a longing look on his face, making his usual beaming smile seem more solemn.

“Just wanted to check up on you, see how you were holding up. We all miss you back in the orphanage, you know…”

“Everything was just so sudden. I mean, I didn’t even really get to say goodbye properly, nor did the others from what I heard.” His smile melts into a frown, “That… wasn’t on purpose, was it?”

A look of dismay colors his face, but he shakes his head and distracts himself by looking up at the mansion Avery has since kept you in.

“It’s not fair,” he whispers under his breath. Despite the bright lights emanating from the exterior of the mansion, his eyes seemed duller than usual. “How am I supposed to compete with that? It’s not fair.”

You tilt your head curiously, not being able to hear what he said, the action snapping him out of his trance.

“Huh? Oh, n-nothing,” he lets out a nervous chuckle while stroking the back of his head, “Just mumbling to myself again, don’t worry too much about it.”

He looks around awkwardly, almost as if he’s waiting for an invitation.

“Y-You should leave,” you turn your head away, “Avery doesn’t take kindly to unwarranted guests.”

The silence that follows your words fills you with dread and something inside you urges you to look up at him. He looks like he’s about to cry. You open your mouth to apologize, but he cuts you off, “I guess I shouldn’t really expect to still be a part of your life anymore.”

“Please, don’t take it that way, I just wanna keep you safe and–” Robin continues to cut you off.

“I wanted to come here to surprise you, but I guess you don’t really need me anymore,” a scoff falls from his lips.

He continues, “I mean… how could you? You have everything you need here with Avery. No room for me.” he pulls his hands away from the gate, but he doesn’t walk away.

He’s still expecting something.

“O-Okay, fine, I’m sorry!” you relent, shoulders dropping with a deep sigh, “Just… make sure you leave before Avery comes back. He won’t be happy to see you here without permission.”

“I won’t let you get in trouble.” He chirps.

You struggle to find a way to actually open the gate having to rely on a key to open it but since Avery took it with him to work for today in order to chastise you, or so he says.

Recalling all the things he said in a fit of rage and it makes you frown.

Asking the servants wasn't a good option either. After all, the employer is still Avery and just one glance of their master’s beloved toy with another man would get their mouths flapping immediately.

Having no other choice, you decide to force it open.

With a bit of work, the gate opens for him and welcomes him in, “Just… make sure to leave before Avery gets home, okay? He won’t be happy to see you here. Especially without his permission.”

He gives you a nod of agreement. “Don’t worry. I wouldn’t want you to get in trouble.”

Robin fidgets for a little while before his hand brushes against yours. “C-Can we hold hands?”

Before you can even respond, he already takes your hand in his and squeezes it tighter when you nod.

You lead him to your room, making sure to avoid any servants.

“Sorry, it’s a little boring here. It’s all mostly Avery’s stuff, so there isn’t really much to do.” you say, letting go of his hand.

Robin looks around the room both you and Avery share in awe. You sense a hint of jealousy in his gaze that you’ve always known he had. His hands graze lightly over everything, afraid to break anything. “It’s really nice in here…” he stops at the large closet in the room's corners.

“I’ve never seen a closet this big.” his smile seems forced. “You must have a really nice life here.”

You let out an awkward laugh. “I do. I’m lucky, Robin. We both are.”

“Technically, he pays both our debts. Avery’s become our savior from Bailey..” a bashful smile makes its way to your lips, “And he’s… become someone really special to me.”

You smile wider than the last, “Maybe, more than a sponsor.”

The chilling silence comes back and your smile quickly drops as it forms.

“We should talk about something else this time.” Robin tries to sound nice, but his true feelings bleed into the sharpness in his tone.

“Y-Yeah.” Naturally, you fall back. “We should.”

He flashes you a smile and sits down next to you.

“How’ve you all been in the orphanage?” You shift closer beside him, a warm smile on your face.

He stares at you with a look of disappointment before it melts into realization. “Oh, that’s right.”

Robin turns away from you to rummage into the sling he brought along with him, pulling out a folder that seems chock full of letters. “Here.” He hands it over to you, “I got all the orphans to write something for you.”

“At least, the ones that wanted to participate.” He rubs the back of his head.

You feel tears streaming down your cheeks as you stroke the folder with your thumb, everything inside you feels warm.

“Thank you, Robin… this really means a lot to me.” You move to hug him, feeling like you never want to let go. “I missed everyone so much.”

He looks stunned from the sudden hug but reciprocates quickly. “Everyone misses you, too. Especially me.”

“If I had it my way, I’d take you back there myself.” He murmurs as his hands slowly travel down to your back, “That way, you’re always happy, right? Happy with us, happy with me.”

“But who am I kidding?” Robin pulls away. “How could I ever do something like that?”

His smile seems more sinister than usual, like he’s hiding something. You’re sure he is.

“I’m just a weak guy, that’s why I rely on you for everything.” He hums, “Maybe I should stop doing that, clearly you prefer being with other people more.”

His words raise a brow. “Where’d you get that from–”

“It’s a little selfish if you ask me.” He looks angry. “You’re supposed to be my protector, aren’t you? Yet, you prance around town, fucking everyone but me.”

“I don’t know what’s making you act like this, but you need to cut it out. You’re being out of line, Robin.”

“I’m out of line? I’m not the fucking slut here.” He pounces on you, pinning you down by your wrists as you struggle. “Getting fucking adopted by your rapist sugar daddy and act like he’s the best person in the world all of a sudden.”

“Suddenly he’s not the abuser you cry to me about? All these filthy fucking gifts are enough to make you forget about getting raped and beaten?”

He jumps off of you to stomp over the closet he was eyeing earlier.

“This is what buys your obedience?” All the expensive clothes that replaced your hand-me-downs in the orphanage get thrown onto you, the hard metal of Avery’s watch he mistook as yours thunking off your head painfully.

“If I knew… If I fucking knew if you were just an easy whore at the end of the day…”

He doesn’t continue his words. Instead, he lets his anger out on you by thrashing the entire room.

You cry out. “Stop, p-please—he’s going to hurt me if he comes home to this––”

“Yet you say he’s your savior?” Robin looks livid as he turns to look at you. “Stop being a fucking hypocrite. You’re contradicting yourself.”

“I’m not the hypocrite here, you’re not any better than he is. You’re not helping anyone but yourself, Robin.”

“Like you have enough self-respect to say you don’t like getting treated like trashy slut you are.” His eyes flash with anger, his hands like an automatic machine as they find anything solid enough to hurt when thrown.

Robin snaps out of his angry daze a few moments after hurling things non-stop at you.

His hand quickly lets go of the next object he was about to throw at you and he comes rushing to your side. “I-I’m sorry. I don’t know what… I-I don’t know what came over me.”

“Please, I… I’ve just been feeling so odd lately…” He whines, a guilt stricken look painted on his face as he hugged you tighter than he’s ever had. “I’m sorry. I know it’s not enough for you to forgive me, but I’m begging you.”

“I don’t think I can handle living with myself if I lose you.”

His eyes drift over to the ground where the folder he gave you sat, immediately snatching it and holding you close as you blankly stare at him before he pulls back like he got shocked.

“Sorry, s-sorry. For touching you.” He lets go.

He clears his throat. You eye his shifty behavior as he fumbles to open the folder with his shaky hands. Robin finally gets it open after a while, “H-Here. I’ll read everything out for you, okay?”

“So I’m sorry, p-please forgive me–”

“Fucking get out.” Your voice cuts him off like a slap to the face.

His mouth falls open at your words, a whine coming out shortly after. He tries to speak, but no words come out of him. Nothing intelligible, anyways. Robin keeps this pathetic display up of being barely able to beg until his anger washes back over him in waves.

“So, I get punished, but he doesn’t?” He says. “You’re so unfair. So, so unfair.”

“But maybe, it’s the lack of the things I do that make you so comfortable with leaving me behind to be with everyone else,” A soft whisper tickles your ears as he leans in close, “There’s always a common denominator and I finally figured you out.”

“You chase after the people that hurt you, cause deep down you know you want it.”

“Why? You’re such a pervert,” His smile reeks of hurt. “I guess it’s on me. Wishing for normalcy in a town like this… that’s why I need you. I’m too naive.”

“Though, I don’t know anymore.” His eyes look hollow as he looks down at you. “Deep down, I’ve always known what you’ve done—I’m not stupid enough to believe you can keep up with those payments with honest work alone but I’ve always turned a blind eye to it.”

Robin nuzzles his head into the crook of your neck, breathing in the expensive perfume he didn’t recognize. “The world isn’t on our side.”

“But I’ll never let the naive part of me dream of a better life for us than this,” He pulls away. “And after this, I’ll try to dream of a better life for you without me in it.”

His hands forcefully pin you down, but somehow it didn’t take too much. A sigh falls from his lips, brows furrowing. “Start resisting. Please, just… let me be strong for once.”

“I’m greedy, I’m selfish, I need you…” He covers your eyes, “…to want more than this. I want you to be free from all this one day.” His other hand falls to unbuckle his belt. “But I guess I can’t be the one to say that when I’m about to… w-well, rape you.”

“Don’t… get wet from hearing that.” Robin’s cheek flushes.

Pushing both his pants and boxers down with one hand, you feel the blunt tip of his cock press against your opening, parting both lips open with each shallow thrust of his hips. “S-Sorry.”

“It’s not enough, I know,” You feel his penis slowly slide inside you. “I’m sorry. I’ll keep going—I never know what you want to hear. Both? I don’t know. It feels like I don’t know you anymore.”

The mixture of the broken fragrances he threw clouded the room in a heavy haze, one that made both your heads hurt.

“Scratch that.” He decides you’re stretched out enough and starts thrusting. Hard and heavy, but it always gentles down in the end. “I don’t know who you are. I don’t know you at all.”

He takes his hand off your eyes.

“You’re someone else.” Robin’s hands come to grab on your tits, squeezing as he thrusts his hips against your cunt, his eyes fluttering shut from the sensation of your pussy quivering around his length. “I don’t recognize you, but I can’t recognize myself either.”

“It’s not fair if I keep on blaming you for everything if it’s like this.” He giggles, “But I can’t help myself, I really can’t.”

Grabbing the back of both your thighs, he pushes your legs up into the air and rests them on his shoulders, pressing deeper into your quim. He struggles to keep his arousal in check.

On a particularly hard thrust, he keels over and rests his forehead against yours to try and keep himself from cumming too soon. “I need you more than anything else… so I hope you can forgive me one day.”
