It's just made from wood. Regular wood, nothing else. It's not unbreakable I know it isn't. I can break it. I just have to keep trying. Just keep trying..

Maybe if I just close my eyes then- then I won't see how it's not even scratching it not even a tiny bit- and if I can't see it's not working then it means it is. Cause it is. It is working. It's just wood, normal wood.

Their head hurts. What happened? They were.. they were trying to break the barrel. Did they? Is it broken? No. No it's not. And not even the slightest bit of damage that would suggest anyone had attempted to do so. Not a scratch.
So why did they stop? Did they? They certainly don't remember stopping.

It's pointless. You know it's pointless. So just stop pretending it's not. That there's a chance of getting out of there without Sparrow's help.
They've fallen to their knees and they're sobbing fully now. They were doing anything and everything they could to try and try and try to break that barrel. For hours and hours and hours and hours until they passed out. And they didn't even leave a single mark on it, nothing. And they knew it from the start, that's how this world works for Midas' sake. You try to break something you can see it happen even things people can't break you can see the marks on it. But not even- it doesn't even- nothing- it's just. Doing. Nothing.

They have a clock, a flower crown, a cookie they have yet to even take out of their barrel, an empty book and a letter. So what they're just supposed to write in the book or what? Yeah right- they wouldn't even know what to write about- they're not gonna do that.
Just stare at the clock? For hours and hours and hours. Well it's really the best option that they have. Other than watching Sparrow any time they're in view..

They've been in here for.. well can't be longer than like 3 days or something can it? Passed out once.. Sparrow sure hasn't talked to them since the beginning. That's good at least, they're not sure they could stand Sparrow... Just being there at all.
This is sick. They know they were the one to come up with this fucked up idea but they just can't come up with a single reason why they actually went through with any of it. Much less why their cage is built this way. Just so they can be the most upset they can??

Milo just sits curled up in the corner. As far out of sight, out of the light, that they can be without being in the water or the snow.
They're not gonna go to that- they can't die to get out of here so they won't just inflict pain on themselves for no reason- they won't play into whatever fucked up plan they had set up for themselves-
And they're just gonna stay curled up in the corner crying, just waiting. And maybe Sparrow will bring by some food at some point- or they won't.
They don't know what they would prefer..
