Summary:

In another reality, the history of Cybertron is rewritten. Primus may have been the first, but he was not alone. With the help of another god, Cybertron is no longer occupied by the children of Primus alone. Now, at their side, stands a sister species. And because of this, stories we are all familiar with have been changed.

If you are interested in worldbuilding, new and old characters being explored and enriched, unique stories spanning all of Cybertron’s history based on already present lore, and history that brings a new fantastical spin to Transformers, this story may be for you.

Hello everyone! To offer some additional context for this fic and how we plan to work it, allow us to explain some things. We’ve created a backlog of chapters which we aim to post once a month or so while one of us (Lets_try_some_writing) is unavailable. This way there will always be something for you all to look forward to even while we are unable to write.

 

Additionally, this work has several books contained within it. For ease of navigation, we’ve ordered it so that the format for each chapter will go as such: Book # | Chapter # | Title with the first chapter of this fic serving as a formalized chapter list.

 

Now, we are sure you are wondering why we came up with this rather unusual idea. To elaborate on that front, this work originally began as an RP featuring original characters and Transformers, obviously. But with time, we built on our ideas, created lore and a whole host of characters and lore, and now it has spiraled into its own continuity. We did try to share this concept a while ago under a different name (which you can still find if you look for it), but it was seriously lacking in plot and lore. And so over the past year or so, we may have gotten carried away with a lore document with over 140 pages and 37k words. Now instead of half baked, it is all fleshed out and something you readers can enjoy like we do! 

 

This will not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for those who stick around, we do hope you like what we’ve come up with. Once again, welcome to Transformers: Misaligned.

Book One: Where It All Started.

Long before Cybertronians were even an idea, Primus was formed and wandered alone. He crafted, he brought planets and galaxies into being, but he was aimless. That was, until he found another just like him.

Another god with another gift. One who would change everything.

Book Two: When The World Was New

The first age of Cybertron has begun. The Thirteen Primes live and reign, but they do not do so alone. As a gift from their gods, they are given the Dragons, meant to be their companions and equals. Their arrival heralds new thoughts, relationships, and choices that will shape Cybertron forever.

 

Through the power of this union of metal and flesh, the Age of the Primes endures… but even Dragons cannot stop the inevitable.
