Gurathin liked to visit the Mensah farm at least twice a year. Murderbot had always gone with him since it returned, but this would be the first year they were going as a married couple. For several members of Mensah’s family, this would be their first time seeing them since they got married.
Right away, Amena was on them, congratulating them with tears in her eyes as she proclaimed, “I told myself I wouldn’t cry!” Various children of Mensah’s followed, all incredibly happy for Uncle Gura and SecUnit. For once, SecUnit found that it was happy for itself as well.
