Espresso, oh how Madeleine loved saying that name, it rolled off his tongue so incredibly beautifully.
He kept muttering it while carrying his beloved who fit nicely into his arms. He who was melting into an adorable and loving mess upon being surrounded by warmth. Espresso was not one for physical contact, but it was different when he was so exhausted he could pass out at any moment.
Being able to swoop him off his feet, and have him in his arms was without fail a delight for the light cookie.
Smiling brightly, he put Espresso cookie down on his bed so he could rest. Espresso had already fallen asleep in his strong arms that carried him all the way into their bed. Of course he wasn't going to let his cherished lover in his uncomfortable work robes, he took the time to take his clothes off, as softly as he could to not disturb his beloved.
After succeeding he contemplated the naked bodice of the stunning cookie sleeping soundly, his brown dough, the messy black hair with a cream strand falling on his eye, his black eyelashes, hands, arms, legs and waist all of it was truly breathtaking, Madeleine met so many supposedly beautiful cookies but none could compare to Espresso. His Espresso, an accomplished researcher who not only had the brains but also a mesmerizing and astounding beauty, by the divines, if someone went and told Madeleine that Espresso was a creature sculpted by the divines he would believe them without thinking.
He couldn't hold back anymore just watching this resplendent, dazzling sight was not enough anymore, his love was overflowing, he leaned down, cupping his loved one's cheeks, Madeleine placed a tender loving kiss on each on them, before heading lower, not a single speck of skin wasn't kissed by Madeleine, lasting kisses that tickled Espresso, he squirmed in his sleep but didn't wake up. Which made Madeleine chuckle as he felt warmer in his chest seeing this cute sight. He continued on with his kiss attack
Not long as he was continuing, Espresso woke up, to his shock Madeleine was kissing his hands repeatedly, "Madeleine cookie! What on earthbread are you doing?!", the knight didn't look away and in between kisses answered "I'm just showing you my love" he smiled against the other's body, this sent a shiver down Espresso's back. "You are incorrigable."
The coffee mage sighed deeply, though he mumbled, he did not mind this treatment at all, the other knew so and was glad to continue on his assault this time on Espresso's lips.
They spent their afternoon lazying around. One thing was for certain love filled both of their hearts till it was bound to explode.
