Chapter Text
Chance walks into his new school and casually just walks around looking for the guidance office to get his schedule. He eventually gives up looking and sees two people talking to each other, so he goes up to them to ask for directions.
One of them seemed to be cheery and fun. He is wearing red and black. The other seems always on guard for something. He seems very stressed.
Chance speaks “Uh hello, I’m new to the school… and I'm looking for the guidance office. Do you guys know where it is?”
They reply back, “Oh yeah it's at the end of the hall.”
One of them asks “Oh what's your name?”
Chance replies, “My name is Chance, what about you?”
“I'm Elliot and this is Guest 1337” says Elliot.
Guest 1337 says, “If you need anything just come talk to us again.”
They say their goodbyes and Chance heads to the guidance office to get his schedule. After he gets his schedule, Chance heads to his first class of the day. His first class of the day is AP Physics since he is just smart like that and sits down. There’s only five people in the class because physics is just hard for the school to teach so most students don’t apply for the class. Chance did because he knows physics already and does not care for it. He notices a student that walked into the class, and keeps an eye on him. Everyone knows the student since he is popular at the school for his looks.
The student is tall and muscular which interests Chance. The student is wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and black & white Noke shoes. Chance looks around the room, noticing that everyone is staring at the student, he notes that the student may be popular.
Chance: “Oh hello I’m a new student. My name is Chance”
Student: “Mafioso’s the name”
Mafioso thinks: New student? That's refreshing
Chance: ”How are you?”
Mafioso: “Good”
The class starts so they lock in for a bit, but then a lab starts and the teacher asks for groups of two.
Chance thinks: huh who should I ask? I'll just ask mafioso since he is the only person I know here.
Chance: “Uh Mafioso, wanna group up?”
Mafioso: “I don’t really care”
Chance: “Alright lets go”
The lab is a pendulum lab where they just have to input some rotational kinematics into the google spreadsheet. The lab was relatively easy for the both of them, but the other two groups are struggling.
Chance: “That was easy”
Mafioso: “Yeah it was…”
Chance: “Should we turn it in?”
Mafioso: “What do you think?”
Chance: “Uhhh…Probably?”
Mafioso: “Yeah…”
They turn in their work and the teacher is a little impressed on how quickly they finished it. The other students are struggling with the work since it was not supposed to be easy.
Teacher: “You guys can go sit down now or help the other groups”
They both sit down and chance goes on his phone just scrolling through touyube with the volume off. Mafioso works on his other homework for the day. Then suddenly Chance has a good idea.
Chance: “Hey do you have any socials? It seems like we are going to be partners for the rest of physics.”
Mafioso: “Whatever”
Chance: "I'll take that as a yes! Do you have discord?”
Mafioso: “Yes”
Chance: “Alright, my discord is @777Gambler4life”
Mafioso: “@GangstaItalianMan”
Chance: “alright added”
Mafioso: “Alright”
*time skip to the end of the block (this is block scheduling)*
Chance: “What’s your next class?”
Mafioso: “AP Calc”
Chance: “Oh same!”
Mafioso thinks: Interesting…
After Physics, they head to AP calc where chance sees Elliot and Guest again. Chance goes to them while Mafioso just follows chance because he just needs a break from the popularity.
Chance: “Hey again!”
Elliot: “Oh hey!”
Guest 1337: “Hello? Who’s behind you?”
Chance: “Oh I made a friend! His name is Mafioso”
Elliot: “As in like the Mafioso?”
Chance: “What do you mean?”
Mafioso: “Nothing to worry about”
Chance: “Uh alright, anyways how are you guys”
Elliot and Guest are a little surprised that Chance befriended Mafioso.
Chance: “You guys alright?”
Guest 1337: “You know Mafioso is the most popular kid in the school right now?”
Chance: “Huh?” Looks at Mafioso
Mafioso: “Its nothing to worry about”
Chance: “You keep saying that”
Mafioso: “I know”
They sit down at a table and the teacher starts teaching slope-field graphs. After class, Chance asks Elliot and Guest for their discords.
Chance: “Hey do you guys have discord?”
Elliot: “Yeah we do!”
Chance: “Wanna trade discords?”
Elliot & Guest 1337: “Sure”
Elliot: “Ok my discord is @pizzaluvver<3”
Chance: “Added, mines is @777Gambler4life”
Guest 1337: “Alright, mines is @baconspmo23”
Elliot: “Alright I'm going to add Chance to the group chat”
Chance: “Oh what group chat?”
Guest 1337: “It’s a group chat where we and a few other friends are in.”
Chance: “Oh nice, hey Mafioso can I add you?”
Mafioso: “Sure”

Taph: Oh?
Dusekkar: Huh?
Veeronica: A new person?

Elliot: Hey guys I added the new kid from school. I don’t think anyone knows them yet besides Guest
Chance: Hi guys
Everyone says hi
Chance: My name is Chance and I'm going to add someone rq
Everyone (besides guests and Elliot): ?

Sixer: Oh hey Mafioso (Sixer knows him pretty well)
Two Time: Spawnism is always open!
After the chaos the bell rings and everyone has to stop chatting and go to class.
Chance: “Hey mafioso, what's your next class?”
Mafioso: “Literature”
Chance: “Oh I have lang, that sucks”
*Mafioso leaves*
*Time skip to the end of the day* Mafioso’s last class was Chemistry and chances last class was History. They both leave the school not seeing each other since their classes are on the opposite side of the building. Chance is walking with Elliot since they both have History together.
Chance: “Anyways I wanna know why everyone was freaking out about Mafioso”
Elliot: “Since you’re new, basically Mafioso is the most popular person in the school and sort of hostile I guess you can say”
Chance: “Oh? Why is he hostile?”
Elliot: “No one knows. So when Mafioso was chill around you everyone was a little freaked out”
Chance: “Idk he seems like a chill guy”
Elliot: “Bro just stfu”
Chance: “Alright alright”
*they head to the bus stop*
Chance: “I can drive you home if you want”
Elliot: “Sure”
*they head to the student parking lot*
Elliot: “Which ones your car?”
Chance: “The black zerrari”
Elliot: “WHAT?!”
Chance: “stop screaming your annoying right now”
Elliot: “What do you mean a black zerrari?!”
Chance: “That one right there”
*They notice mafioso is near the car and looking at it*
Chance: “Oh hey mafioso!”
Mafioso: “Is this your car?”
Chance: “Yeah, want a ride home?”
Mafioso “Sure”
*Chance, Elliot, and Mafioso get into the car and chance takes them both home*
