SONIC ARCHIE REBORN
SUR 50 - BIG BIG’S ADVENTURE: Big is searching for Froggy, who has disappeared. This leads him to find an Eggman base and destroy a Tails Doll prototype all by himself along with some machinery Eggman was using to create more Power Gems. He then returns to New Mobotropolis, leaving the base destroyed and recovering Froggy.
STHR 247 - Team Fighters, along with the Arctic FF, arrive at the Death Egg. With the help of Silver, who comes from the future to assist them, they manage to deactivate Mecha Sally. However, before they can escape, Metal Sonic interrupts them. Meanwhile, in New Mobotropolis, Team Freedom is fighting a transformed Tails Doll.
SUR 51 - LEGION RABBOT: Bunny has been helping Baron in his chapter of the D.E.L. But the Sand Blasters simply never tire of fighting. It's revealed here that upon arriving, Bunny requested to be Legionized to obtain her mechanical parts, but with bombs. After that, she helped retake a large part of the territory lost to the Sand Blasters, for which Eggman was very grateful, though he didn't know Bunny was there. The Baron realized Bunny might leave, as Matilda convinced her to talk to her friends.
STHR 248 - Sonic and Silver decide to fight Metal Sonic, but he now has a Power Gem which allows him to adapt to their combined attacks. Meanwhile, Tails and the others take Sally to the Tornado, something Eggman isn't going to allow. He sends Metal Tails and Metal Amy to hold them off. But while all this is happening, Nicole and the others face Tails Doll, and Nicole, with Rotor's help, discovers his weakness and defeats him. Meanwhile, the Arctic FF fight the Metals while the others escape with Sally.
SUR 52 - Bunny notices a very large signal in Sand Blast City and is sent to investigate it, leading an all-out attack to finally destroy the shield. Bunny succeeds, but is left too weak and Jack Rabbit captures her. Matilda wants to help, but the Baron prevents her. Jack, wanting to torture Bunny for fun, accidentally reveals that the energy was the blue Chaos Emerald that suddenly appeared there. The Baron decides that Bunny must stay with them forever, and there's no better way than asking Eggman to completely kill Antonie so that Bunny will never leave again.
STHR 249 - Team Fighters fly off with Silver and Sally while Eggman, low on energy, decides to attack them, launching the Death Egg and bringing the Metals with it. They follow them to New Mobotroplis, where Nicole and Rotor are investigating Tails Doll when it suddenly activates and returns to the Death Egg. At the SFF base, Charles is using the Krudzu to create a de-robotizer, hoping to finally redeem himself. On the surface, both Team Freedom and the Fighters begin fighting all the Badniks Eggman sends until Metal Sonic, accompanied by the Egg Beater Mk2, arrives.
SUR 53 - Bunny begins to devise an escape plan to get out and retrieve the emerald, while the Baron decides to assemble an elite team to extract Bunny. Matilda decides to infiltrate the team without permission. Bunny quickly destroys her cell and fights off some sand blasters until she encounters Jack, who has a gun powered by the Chaos Emerald. They fight until Jack has the emerald in his sights, but then he's told that the Baron is attacking the city. Bunny seizes the opportunity to take the emerald, returning to the Baron to continue the attack on Sand Blast City.
STHR 250 - While Team Freedom and Fighters battled Metal Sonic and Eggman, Chuck desperately tried to finish the de-robotizer, sensing the surface tremors. He didn't want to fail, but he kept failing, feeling like it would be his fault Eggman won again. Nicole managed to calm him down, and Chuck finally discovered the formula. Sonic used his newfound leadership skills to guide the new Freedom Fighters, surprising Eggman, who, in his madness, ended up losing his mecha. But Metal Sonic was still a problem, going after Sally until Silver stopped him, giving Tails enough time to get Sally to the new de-robotizer. However, being unstable, it exploded. But once the smoke cleared, Sally was there, in the flesh.
SUR 54 - The attack was almost over, the D.E.L. had taken Sand Blast City and the Sand Blasters had to retreat to the caves where they would swear revenge, but Bunny refused to give up the emerald when the Baron asked for it, which led to a fight where the Baron revealed that he had ordered Antonie killed, at which point Matilda rebelled and helped Bunny escape with the emerald, trying to leave the city until the Baron used an EMP device he had installed on them, and although he was sorry, he had to give the emerald to Eggman and gave the two of them the opportunity to serve Eggman or be imprisoned, to which the two swore loyalty, now without trusting the Baron.
STHR 251 - Both Eggman and the Freedom Fighters paused their fight for a moment in surprise, but when they saw that she was alive, Eggman broke down again, having been defeated once more. His best weapon had been destroyed, and the Death Egg was about to run out of energy. Therefore, he sent Metal to finish his mission and also to do the favor the Baron had asked of him, sending Metal to kill Antonie while Eggman decided to use his entire arsenal to keep the Freedom Fighters at bay. Unbeknownst to him, just as Metal was about to kill Antonie, Shard arrived to have a one-on-one fight against Metal.
SUR 55 - PHOTONEGATIVE: In Downunda, the region's D.E.L. was conducting a mining operation to find more Power Gems than Eggman wanted. Finitevus also had his own objective: after investigating records from ancient humans, he discovered they had opened a portal to the Anti-Universe, which they used for dangerous experiments with Chaos energy and as an escape route when the Xorda arrived. He had also found records of a relic, the Sword of the Cosmos, formerly known as the Anti-Sword Acorn, which would grant its wielder control over Chaos energy. Seeing that the Destructix hadn't reported in, Finitevus decided to go after it himself. Since the Master Emerald was out of reach, he had to find another way to charge his Warp Ring. An abandoned laboratory buried in the mountains of Downunda.
STHR 252 - Shard and Metal began their fight in New Mobotropolis. Metal had the advantage because Shard was also focused on saving the citizens from Metal, leaving him vulnerable to further attacks. Meanwhile, the Freedom Fighters kept Eggman's entire army under control while Sonic stayed with Sally, who had finally awakened and was recovering. But when Metal seemed to have Shard ready to kill him, the other SFF members intervened to help in the fight, giving him the necessary time to repair himself and severely damage Metal with his cannon. Eggman's forces were gaining ground until Geoffrey appeared and, with the powers of Ixis and his Chaos Emerald, crystallized his robots and forced Eggman to retreat.
SUR 56 - The D.E.L. enters the human base to gather materials and use it as a new base of operations, but Finitevus had other plans. Thanks to information obtained from Isaac, he acquired the base's blueprints, reaching a secret room with an activated security system that attempts to kill Finitevus with lasers and energy. However, he overcomes this with his Warp Rings, redirecting the lasers to destroy the security system. He reaches the power core, an ancient Chaos Drive, which Finitevus uses to charge his ring. Activating the machinery, he opens a portal to Moebius, arriving at the Shazamazon Laboratory. This laboratory had been conquered by the ancient humans and had not been destroyed during Scourge's reign. While Finitevus was investigating the records for information on the Sword of the Cosmos, he encountered an energy radar registering two energy spikes. Elsewhere, Scourge had found the Yellow Sol Emerald.
STHR 253 - Eggman saw how Metal was severely damaged and his strength was being completely destroyed by Geoffrey's crystallization. Even with his new body, Geoffrey could still hear the voices of the other three wizards, and now the voice of the real Geoffrey. Eggman decided to use everything in one last attack, simply summoning Metal back to the Death Egg. He then returned to himself, directing all the remaining energy into the Death Egg's cannon. Geoffrey saw him using the full power of his Chaos Emerald and his magic to fire a beam back, limiting the damage to the city's outskirts. But just when everyone thought the threat was over, Eggman escaped in a separate ship, leaving the Death Egg powerless to crash into the city.
SUR 57 - Finitevus discovers an abandoned basement beneath this place, but decides to check it out first. Upon exiting, he is surprised to find that this place still houses humans. Apparently, this is the last place where the ancient humans have lived for another thousand years. But Finitevus decides not to be distracted, and although he vows to return to study them, he goes directly to the basement where he tries to find something about the Blade of the Cosmos. There, he has to face humanoid security robots. After defeating them without harming them with his Warp Rings, he finds ancient files detailing how the Blade of the Cosmos did not control Chaos energy, but rather the Anti-Universe version, Anti-Chaos, or a better name, Entropy energy, which was black and which Finitevus controlled, realizing that all this time he was different. With a little more investigation, Finitevus found the location of the Blade of the Cosmos: beneath Acorn Castle.
STHR 254 - Geoffrey collapses to the ground, exhausted after using so much energy. He feels that using his beam on such a large scale has now made his new body unstable, so the other Freedom Fighters have to manage on their own. They go to Sonic to get a plan of attack against the ship. Sonic decides that instead of destroying the Death Egg, it's better to reactivate it with an energy source as powerful as Eggman's. He steals the Purple Emerald from Ixis without her noticing and then flies to the Death Egg, navigating what seems like a maze of dead-end corridors. But thanks to Silver, who simply opens a passage directly to the central room, Sonic manages to place the emerald in the core just in time for Tails and Nicole to redirect the Death Egg and take flight again. This saves the city and gives them control over the doctor's most powerful weapon.
SUR 58 - Finitevus takes one of the human transports and begins traveling to Acorn Castle, because not knowing what it was like, he could not open a Warp Ring there. When he arrived, he encountered the Suppression Squad, who didn't want anyone entering the castle. They tried to defeat Finitevus, but he was faster and used all his portals to defeat them all. Miles decided to make a truce with him, letting him pass so he could search for whatever it was he wanted. But while he was searching through the records he had stolen to find the hidden Blade of the Cosmos, the castle walls suddenly shattered, and Blaze and Scourge appeared, fighting. Scourge asked why Finitevus was there, and Finitevus told him he had come to carry out the mission he had assigned to the Destructix. While Scourge kept Blaze distracted, Finitevus found the room where the sword was, took it, and connected with the energy of Entropy.
STHR 255 - Some time after what happened with Eggman, the Death Egg was now parked next to New Mobotropolis. Tails, Rotor, Charles, and Nicole had taken it upon themselves to disarm the Death Egg and remove all its potential weapons, while the emerald was returned to Geoffrey, who now practically couldn't live without its energy, as his mutations were already too severe and continuous. But no one else really cared about his condition, as everyone was now celebrating Sally's return and her de-robotization. Even so, Sally seemed somewhat distant from the others, so Sonic decided to talk to her alone. This led her to open up to him, telling him that she remembered absolutely everything she saw as Mecha Sally, specifically remembering how Eggman had modified her to give her weapons, now feeling as if her body was no longer her own. So Sonic decided to stay with her alone for a while longer.
SUR 59 - ANTITHESIS: On Mobius, the Destructix had stolen a Kintobor resistance transport, but they spared it because their objective that day was different: to go after the Suppression Squad to get their revenge and use their Zone poles to return to Mobius. But suddenly, a wave of fire blocked their path and they were thrown to the bottom of a crevice in the ground, and Scourge ended up saving Fiona from dying from the fall. When the others wanted to climb back up to see what the fire wave was, Scourge began to sense something. The chaos energy that had changed the color of his body was reacting with something, and following his instinct, he ended up finding the Yellow Sol Emerald in a cave. He tried to use it to perform Chaos Control, but only created an explosion. When the smoke cleared and Scourge picked up the emerald again, he heard a voice from above. It was Blaze, who was asking him for the emerald peacefully.
STHR 256 - Now Sally was going to the hospital to gradually erase all those bad memories as Mecha Sally, also seeing for the first time how Antonie was in a coma and Bunnie was still missing. Elias decided to temporarily withdraw from the SFF to be with his sister and help her rehabilitate. Meanwhile, Ixis, seeing that not even the Chaos Emerald or possessing another body could help him, decided to put his ego aside and finally ask the FF for real help, revealing that he was Ixis and could no longer stay alive using chaos energy. Nicole discovered that this was because although chaos energy helps you at first, if your body is not made for it, it will harm you in the long run. While that was happening, Eggman had returned to New Megaopolis and hid in its ruins, receiving two calls. One was from Lien-Da, telling him that the entire Dark Egg Legion had disappeared and she was the only one who managed to hide to avoid being kidnapped. The other call was the Baron, now with the news that he had found his Blue Emerald. Eggman told Baron to prepare everything because he was going to his base to reward him in person. He told Lien-Da to go to Lord Hood's base and hide there for the time being.
SUR 60 - Scourge and Blaze argue for a moment and Scourge discovers that Blaze was friends with Sonic, so he decides that just for that reason he will not give her his emerald. While the Destructix were starting to climb out of the place, suddenly Blaze and Scourge came out fighting and Scourge told them that it was better to leave quickly, taking the Warp Ring and using it to travel to Acorn Castle where Blaze followed them, continuing the fight of the 6 against Blaze, but with the power of his 2 Sol Emeralds he was able to keep up with them. Fiona tries to convince Scourge to give her the emerald, but he refuses, unwilling to lose another battle, as he hasn't won any of his previous fights lately. Suddenly, Blaze pushes him against the castle, where he encounters Finitevus and Miles. Miles, seeing that Blaze wants the Sol Emerald, gives her the green Sol Emerald he found when he traveled to another Zone, but it doesn't seem to have Chaos energy, so it's useless. Blaze, now with three emeralds, is much more powerful and begins to win the battle until Finitevus appears with the Sword of Cosmos and a crown made of Anarchy Beryl.
STHR 257 - Nicole was helping Ixis avoid death, having almost finished the device that would return him to normal thanks to the power of the Chaos Emerald. However, she was actually more focused on Sally's rehabilitation, trying to help and be with her whenever possible. Meanwhile, Elias was leading the city's reconstruction. Although the beam Ixis fired at the Death Egg saved the city, its shockwave damaged many of Nicole's nanobots. So, while Rotor and Tails figured out how to replicate more of them, the city was being rebuilt with ordinary materials. At the new Acorn Castle, they decided to continue the meeting to decide on the constitution. Since the last meeting, when they hadn't been able to accomplish much, they hadn't held another one. Now, the new constitution included a new rule to try to remove Naugus from power: the King must choose a successor who can take the crown in times of need.
SUR 61 - Finitevus told Blaze he regretted the misunderstanding and forced Scourge to give Blaze the Sol Emerald in exchange for the crown, as he wanted to see if the sword's power was as great as the records indicated. While Blaze, now with four emeralds, teleported away, Miles decided to shoot at the Destructix and Finitevus, causing the crown to fall and forcing them to hide. While the Suppression Squad was firing, Miles had left to finish the last details of the Star Posts. By the time Scourge and Finitevus managed to get through the gunfire to the castle, they had already left through the portal to Mobius. But before following them, Finitevus asked Scourge for one last job: he wanted to test the sword's power against a Super Form.
STHR 258 - The machine was finished and Ixis recovered somewhat, but he was still unwell. The worst was yet to come for him when the council informed him that, thanks to the constitution, he now needed to choose a successor who could take his place should he become seriously ill or die. Ixis initially refused, but the council prevailed and forced him to find someone. He decided to travel through Mobotropolis to find the worst possible candidate to prevent his replacement. He happened upon the hospital and saw Antonie, considering choosing him, since ensuring Antonie wouldn't awaken would prevent his removal. However, he then realized they would likely reject him because he was in a coma, and ultimately settled on a better option. The following day, Ixis entered the council to announce his successor, stating that the only person legally authorized to replace him was Princess Sally Acorn.
SUR 62 - Upon hearing Finitevus's request, Scourge knew that if he wanted to get rid of Finitevus once and for all, this was his opportunity. So he went and took the crown, asking the Destructix to see how powerful their leader really was, in addition to keeping the portal to Mobius open. Finitevus also wanted to kill Scourge and test his sword on him, so when Scourge transformed into his Super form, he decided to go for the kill from the very first second. He knew that if he didn't end the battle quickly, he would likely die from the exhaustion of using the Super form for so long. The two began to fight, Scourge using his speed and Chaos Control to land blows, and Finitevus using his sword. Thanks to his magic, he could ignore the Super form's invulnerability, and he also used his Warp Rings to redirect Scourge's attacks. When Scourge managed to corner him, he decided to launch himself with a Spin Dash, but at the last moment, he grabbed the sword and, together with Finitevus, they combined Chaos Control on each other, leaving Scourge without his Super form and the sword drained of its energy. After getting up, they decided to return to Mobius together with a truce that neither Scourge nor Finitevus intended to uphold.
STHR 259 - Sally was with Sonic. A few weeks had passed since she was de-robotized, and she no longer wanted to be the leader of the Freedom Fighters. She felt that her traumas as Mecha Sally would cloud her judgment and leave her paralyzed on the battlefield. But suddenly, Elias arrived to tell them that Ixis had specifically chosen her, knowing that in her mental state, she couldn't be queen. It wasn't as if she wanted the position, either. But Sally, still feeling guilty about everything, decided to make amends. She resigned as a Freedom Fighter, giving the leadership to Sonic, and went straight to the council. Although Sonic and Elias tried to convince her that it wasn't her responsibility, she was determined. Once at the council hearing, with Ixis still in a weakened state, she decided to take the position as queen, surprising everyone. Naugus, however, was not amused, as his condition prevented him from being king. Ixis left the council plotting his final act; if he cannot have the city, then no one else will.
SUR 63 - ACROSS THE STARS: On the planet Argentium, the Black Arms and the Xorda were still at war, but it seemed the Xorda were losing the battle. Some Xorda ships were already retreating, but one of them went to a different destination, having been stolen by Ceneca 9009, the Bem that had de-robotized Mobius. This ship seemed to have a conscious artificial intelligence called X-890 that wanted to return to the Xorda, but Ceneca 9009 managed to reprogram it to let her pilot it. Although it didn't have a fixed destination, as it only wanted to escape its planet, upon remembering Mobius and Sonic, it decided that it couldn't give up on its world so easily. It decided to gather its own Freedom Fighters, fighting with X-890 to pilot the ship to the planet Thoraxia, where it would see them being attacked by Mecha Bzzz. They were gaining ground until Ceneca used the ship's systems to fire a beam that vaporized several Bzzz. Suddenly, someone leaped aboard the ship; it was a Blodex who could use Chaos Energy to clone himself and fight. Thanks to their combined efforts, they managed to defeat the Bzzz, the Blodex introducing himself as Zyr.
STHR 260 - While preparations were underway for Queen Sally's coronation that same day, Sonic was absent. He had been contacted by Harvey Who, who revealed the existence of the SFF. They were concerned because Ixis hadn't been seen all day, so they asked him to remain vigilant in case there was any sign of him at the ceremony. Sonic agreed and returned to the ceremony just as it was about to begin. Although everything seemed fine at first, Sonic noticed something strange. He felt as if there was a very large energy nearby, and his suspicions were confirmed when Nicole warned him that she detected a lot of Ring energy beneath the castle. So he went to investigate using a tunnel Nicole made in the ground to reach the hole that had been left under the castle due to a lack of Nanobots. When he got there, it was too late. Ixis had somehow gathered many rings and used them to obtain a new pseudo-super form with Geoffrey's body, which somehow made the voices even louder.
SUR 64 - Ceneca, now with Zyr, traveled through the universe bound for the planet Azurita, but ended up running into the space police who recognized Ceneca 9009 and knew she was a fugitive from the Bem, so they took them to jail, putting Ceneca and Zyr in the same cell while they tried to control X-890 to get more information from the Xorda, but at that moment a prisoner next to them started talking to them, discovering that the three were not criminals, but that they had the same purpose, to protect life in the universe, thanks to their conversation, the other alien named Add13 used her power to move through the shadows to escape with them, something she hadn't done because seeing so many bad people in the universe broke her morale a little, but when they were about to leave, Ceneca stopped them telling them that they had to go back for X-890, so they went They chased all the guards and soldiers until they reached X-890, freeing him and escaping from prison. X-890 thanked them for not leaving him behind.
STHR 261 - Ixis, now as what he called Ultra Geoffrey, decided to use a beam to vaporize the entire Acorn Castle on the surface, but this beam was completely stopped by Ultra Sonic, who used the remaining energy from the rings to transform, thus beginning a battle underground. On the surface, Nicole, Charles, and Elias decided to evacuate everyone mid-ceremony, as Sonic had warned them of what was happening. Just as everyone was outside, Ixis and Sonic emerged from the ground and flew across the castle roof. Finally, all the FF members prepared to help, but Ixis threw Sonic away, declaring that he was no longer ill and therefore the crown belonged to him. This prevented the FF from attacking, as it would be considered treason. Nevertheless, they were going to fight. The SFF arrived to join the battle, with Larry staying close to Naugus while Silver and Shard went straight for him. Even with Ultra Sonic, they couldn't defeat him because of his Chaos Emerald. When all hope seemed lost as Sonic transformed back, Ixis began to scream in pain. Geoffrey had taken advantage of Elias's distraction during the fight to forcefully reclaim his body, and thanks to Hershey's memories, he managed to take back his body, expelling Ixis, who decided to leave using his magic, since Elias possessed the Sword of Light. Geoffrey fell unconscious next to the purple emerald; Ixis had been defeated for the time being.
