Summary:
Alone and isolated by his immortality, Merlin journeys once more to Camelot, to the site of an old story Gaius once told him. Beneath the castle, in a hidden crypt, it is said sorcerers once escaped Uther's purges - but how? And to where?
Merlin intends to find out.
But when he stumbles into another world, another Camelot, when he finds Arthur, alive but changed, he must do all he can to prove himself true. Even if it means his own undoing.

It had been a while since I last took part in a fandom challenge, and I’m really glad I joined this one. Thank you so much for the Merlin Reverse Bang mods for organizing the event.
For this work, “Reflect what you are,” I collaborated with the amazing Howlingoose. It was wonderful to watch a story grow out of my original concept, and I hope you enjoyed the process as much as I did.
Only me and you can understand how nerve wracking this last half hour was for us. For any readers, it was absolute chaos.
This won’t be the last story based on this concept, so stay tuned.
