Kitty and Q had just left the boys dorm room and Marius was busy taking a shower. So naturally Dae and Min Ho were left alone in the room.
Min Ho was still on the sofa and Dae was across from him on the chair.
There was some slight tension in the air that was breaking away slowly.
"Dae I need to tell you something." Min Ho said nervously.
Dae's facial expression changed to a slighly more concerned look. "Oh okay what is it."
"You're my best friend and I would never want to loose that." Min Ho said.
"Where's this coming from?" Dae commented.
"The night of the yacht party me and Kitty we erm, we kissed. And now we have this undefined thing going on." Min Ho admitted, swallowing the lump in his throat.
"Oh okay well thank you for telling me." Dae said.
"So last semester when you said there was nothing between you guys, that was a lie?" Dae asked.
Min Ho shook his head. "I didn't want to admit it cause I thought she didn't feel that way. The day of the yacht party I even swore off all relationships until she asked to join me on tour. I let myself believe it because it felt like she wanted to be alone with me which she did by the way. I just couldn't hide it anymore. I like her a lot, more than I ever have fallen for anyone before."
"I figured. With Q acting suspicious I could see the tension. I knew it was bound to happen. There was always something there." Dae admitted as he smiled up at Min Ho.
Min Ho blinked for a second, rather puzzled. "Wait you aren't mad?"
Dae chuckled, shaking his head. He had grown a lot this year. "No of course not. I moved on from Kitty for a while now. I like Eunice."
"Cool." Min Ho said, not really knowing what to say as he did not expect this reaction.
"Everyone knew you guys liked each other. We all were just waiting." Dae teased.
"So you do want to define the relationship right?" Dae asked.
Min Ho nodded. "Yeah obviously we just haven't had that discussion yet."
"Well go for it." Dae smiled.
"Thanks Dae." Min Ho smiled up at him.
"Take care of her." Dae said.
"I will." Min Ho replied.
Dae smirked, smiling at his best friend. "No matter what we will always be best friends. Nothing changes that."
"Yeah." Min Ho said as he got up from the sofa and him and Dae hugged.
A hug that was very much needed.
A day passed. Everyone was at Marius's party. Kitty walked towards Dae and stood beside him.
"Can we talk?" Kitty asked.
Dae nodded. "Sure."
"Dae me and M -
"You guys kissed and have an unofficial thing going on." Dae said with a smile.
Kitty blinked. "How did you know?"
"Min Ho told me. I'm happy for you guys. It was bound to happen and besides I like Eunice now so it doesn't matter what I think. You two really do deserve each other." Dae told her.
Kitty smiled. "Thanks Dae. I really do like him which kinda scares me sometimes as I've never felt this way before."
"Always. You can thank me by just making it official already. We all can see the tension in the room." Dae chuckled.
"Yeah, totally." Kitty leaned in forward and gave Dae a side hug.
"Take care of him. For me." Dae said.
Kitty nodded her head, happily. "I will."
Dae realises that the only thing important is the friendship he has with the both of them. As long as his best friends are happy then that is all that really matters.
Besides he's more focused on being a great best friend to Yuri who is struggling at the moment due to her being poor and hopefully winning back Eunice, the girl he loves.
Seeing the people he loves being happy is the greatest gift in the world to him and is something that money cannot buy.
