Chapter 1: The boy named Luffy

Chapter Text

L O G U E T O W N.

Looking up at the platform, you couldn't believe the history. It makes your blood rush. This was really the end of the Pirate King.

You stared, trying to picture the infamous laugh before his last breath. Accounts said it was a booming laugh, unable to tell any fear or sadness. He seemed to die a man with no regrets.

5 seconds passed by.

“Alright.” You whispered to yourself. Adjusting your head wrap, you moved away, starting to walk back, ready for food, exhausted after a long morning of staring.

As you near a restaurant, you hear yelling. Rushing over to the noise, you see a young man. Eating a woman's bread that leaned out of her hand. She had eyes wide open and a mouth so wide it could catch flies. The boy in a red vest talked with his mouth full. “ ‘Old pirates’ with the -tes making spit and food crumbs spray over the poor lady. You walked closer to them, tapping the boy’s shoulder.

He ignored you.

[…]

More tapping, he continued to ignore. Or maybe didn't feel.

Continuing on about the age of Pi-rates. As the woman tried to edge away with her half-baguette.

“I can take you there.”

“Mpmh!”

He blinked, staring.

“Who are you?”

You laughed. Pointing at yourself, eyes closing, giving a gentle smile.

“Just a fan of pirates!”

He brightened up.

“Me too! I'm gonna be king of the pirates.”

He said, bouncing on his feet, clutching his straw hat with a wide smile.

“Lucky me then! I never met a king before!”

He smacked your shoulder as he laughed. The smacks made you wince and lean a bit, but your smile never left. Adjust your scarf again.

“Shihihi! I like you. What's your name?”

“[Name]. And what is the name of the future king of pirates?”

“Monkey D. Luffy!”

Now you couldn’t help but laugh. Holding it in for a while now. It was infectious with his attitude.

“Well, I should show a future king the history of a past king. To the scaffold?”

Throwing a fist in the air. "Oohh! Let's go!” He starts running ahead of you.

You turn to the woman who was “talking” to Luffy before. Quickly grab your coin purse, taking out enough bells for bread. Handing it to the women, both of you almost dropping in a rush and awkward chuckles. “Sorry.” You gave a small smile and head nod.

Hearing a loud “oi!” He was waving his hands for your attention. Yelling out “Coming!” You run after Luffy, laughing.

Luffy slowed down to walk instead, not caring what was ahead of him, unafraid of walking into something or someone. Only looking at you.

“Why are you hiding your face? You ugly or something?”

“Hmm? Maybe I have a pirate eye patch?”

“Wooo!” He moved in front of you before you could blink. Shoving his face in yours as you move back a bit. “Let me see!” You can see sparkle in his eyes; he seems to be gullible. Perfect for your mischievous nature.

“Well, alright, but I'll only show you in a private place. Just the two of us.” Holding two fingers up with a grin.

“Eh, alright.” Turning back to move his arms behind his head. His mood changed quickly.

“Tell me about your crew.” He started bouncing on his feet again.

“There's Zoro! He's a cool swordsman and my first mate! Then there's Nami, she's our navigator, but a pretty good thief too! Usopp, shihihi” Laughing by himself in what seems to be reminiscing in memories. “He's a funny guy. And our sharpshooter. Oh! Sanji is our cook; he makes the best meat!"

For the first time, he slouched and seemed to be in a mood. Clutching his stomach. “I wish I had meat right now!”

You pat his back. “I'll invite you to eat out."

He straightened up in a flash. “Huh? Seriously? Let's go now!” Grabbing your wrist, but you stay still. unsure where he was going, chuckling, expecting his stop.

Why wasn't he stopping?

Why was his arm so long?

Why could you feel sweat drip down your face?

You bit your lip to keep your body and voice in control. Reminding you where you are.

You hear his shoes clicking away from you. As commotion from surprise starts to surround you. To get his attention, you pull hard on his arm.

“Huh? What's wrong?” shouting across the street.

“What do you think?” yell bystanders.

You didn't want to yell, but he was clearly occupied by the yells. Some were a bit frightened. You wanted his attention and did the only thing you thought. Opening his hand up.

Gently. “Tickle, Tickle.”

“Wahahaha!” Immediately, you felt his arm shaking. Walking forward, you observed the people were calmed now, mostly odded out. As you reach him, he was clutching his stomach from laughter and his legs swinging around.

Reaching him, you give a final “tickle, tickle.” Before letting go, staring at his stretched arm snapped back to normal. You get down to his level, cupping your scarfed face.

“Luffy, where do you want to go first? Food? Or the scaffold?”

He turned serious for a moment, leaning back on his hands, humming out.

Jumping up when he had an answer.

“I wanna see the scaffold!”

You grabbed his arm, now running.

“Come on then!”

Reaching the site, you stop far enough to see the whole view.

“The execution scaffold…”

He stood still. “That's it. That's where Gold Roger… was executed. The greatest pirate of all time died tight there.”

It felt like it was only him and that spot. In his own world.

“This is where the great age of pirates began.”

The moment ended when Luffy turned to you. “Let's go see it closer!”

“Mm, alright le-” a stretchy arm wrapped around your waist. Flinching in shock as a tear drops from your eye when you see him position himself.

“Gum gum stretch.”

An arm whipped back before grabbing the top of the scaffold. People around you only gasped in shock as the two of you flew. Slouched over you only leave “eep” from your lips.

Wind flew past you, flinging your head scarf off. Air left you from the pain of the awkward position Luffy left you in on top of the scaffold. Scrambling to reapply your scarf on your head and face.

“Wow!”

Luffy lifted his hat from his neck to his head once again. Enjoying the view.

“So this is what the king of pirates saw just before he died!”

Huffing out, you looked down as hundreds of people looked at the two of you.

A crackling noise of a megaphone appeared.

“Hey, you two! Get down from there immediately!”

“Why?” A deadpan Luffy said. He got a roar of laughter from the crowd.

“That's the special execution scaffold! It's under the jurisdiction of the world government!! Come down right now!”

“Luffy.” You said in a gentle tone.

“Huh?”

“Did you have your fun? Should we go eat now? I'm getting hungry.”

He looked out for a moment more. Both of you are ignoring the yells and laughter from below. Once he had taken it in, he looked back at you.

“Shihihi, you’re a handful. Let's go eat!” Again, wrapping his arm around you, he grabbed the edge of the scaffold, using it to swing you both down. The officer rushed over to scold you.

“Do you two have any idea how much trouble you're in? That's government property, you can't touch it!!”

“Huh? Who are you?” He turned over, picking his nose.

“Pay attention!”

You giggle, moving in front of the officer.

“We're sorry. We were just excited. We're fans of the history.”

He huffed.

“Sorry doesn't excuse what you did.”

Luffy was walking away.

“Hey! Come back!”

.

..

He wasn't coming back.

“HEYY!”

You grabbed his hand, gripping it tightly as he turned around.

Bowing, holding the hands near your face.

“I'm sorry, we were just excited. Truly, I apologize, we won't do it again.” You started bowing, repeatedly going so fast you were becoming a blur.

The man, sweating, was stumbling back. You grip, keeping him there. He tried to pull his hand away. Your grip kept him there.

Finally, lifting your head up, you showed your best smile show with yours.

“Please forgive us!”

“Alright, no problem!” Nodding with a bit of a blush. Once you let go, he stumbled back as you clapped your hands together, brightening. “Thank you so much!”

The man mumbled out a response, but you were off after Luffy waved goodbye.

You ran for a bit, not seeing the straw hat or hearing the commotion before.

‘Bang, bang’

“Oi, [name]!” But it came muffled from the glass. Mostly from the meat in his mouth.

Entering the restaurant, you order a meal at the front and ask for no disturbance with an added tip. At Luffy's table, you see it was filled to the brim with food. Surprisingly empty plates as well.

“Enjoying the food, Luffy?”

“Yeah, everything is delicious!” Stuffing his face, he paused face turned stern. “But you can't have any.” Laughing as you picked a sweet up, bowing your head to eat it. “Wasn't planning to.” Luffy continued. “Haha, good.” He stopped. “Hey!” You laugh as a waiter brings your food. Picking the meat to put on Luffy's plate.

“Huh?” He quickly puts it in his mouth.

“Forgiven?”

“You’re forgiven.”

After eating in peace and watching Luffy turn into a balloon. You had paid the long tab, only left with your drinks.

“Shihihi,” Lufy pats his stomach. “Thanks [name]!”

“No, problem!” You felt comfortable showing Luffy your face, leaning away from the window.

“Hm?” He leaned in and then went over the table. “Wow, you really do have an eye patch!”

You placed your chin on your fist

“Hehehehi, I got a small cut above my eye.”

His eyes bulge out. “That's so boring.”

“But don't you wanna know how I got it?"

“How?”

He leaned close

“Fighting…”

He crept closer.

“A bird.”

“Whoa, a monster bird?”

“No, a seagull.”

“Huh! What a scam.”

“Hehehehi,” covering your mouth to laugh. “To be fair, seagulls are ferocious. You shouldn't underestimate them.” You sigh, slouching a bit. Cheek now lying on your hand. “A bird took me down so easily, but pirates I can fight easily.” Looking at him with a cheeky grin.

“Seriously?”

“Mm, I'm entering the grand line alone, so I've got to protect myself.”

“We're going to the Grand Line too!”

“As expected of the future king.” You lean back, opening your bag, and grab a pack of cards.

“How about I teach you something to play with your crew! When you're bored out at sea.”

“Ohh, what is it?”

You take out the cards before you begin your explanation. A better way to capture Luffy's attention.

“It's called Joker.” You started shuffling the deck before pulling tricks. Seeing Luffy clap and shout in amazement.

“Since it’s just us two well have half and half.” You easily straighten the deck pile from Luffy's clumsy grabs.

“Yosh!”

“Now find 2 cards of the same color and number.”

“Haha,” he slammed two cards, a 2 hearts and 2 diamonds. He took the 2 thing seriously.

“I'm pretty good at this game!”

“The game hasn't started.”

“What?” He blinked up from his cards as he made another pair.

“Did you find all your pairs?”

“Isn't that boring?”

“A bit, how about we see who's fastest?”

“You’re on!”

Adjusting your scarf to cover your face again as Luffy slammed the cards, drawing attention.

It went by in a blur as people looked over at the noise; a few even clapped.

At the end, you won. Cheering as others clapped for you. While Luffy,

“Don't pout, Luffy.”

His face turned strange, his eyes no longer looked at you, and his lips took a duck beak-like shape.

“I'm not pouting.” His eyes went everywhere but on yours.

“Alright, I believe you. It's not like the game is over yet.”

He brightened up, you're not sure from the game not being over, you believing the lie, or both.

You pause, thinking of the shortest way to explain to Luffy.

“Each turn, you will pick one of my cards.”

Keeping the backside facing him, you move 2 cards from your deck. And two from the completed pair piles. Flipping them around your fingers to impress him.

“Wow.”

You huffed in pride.

“Try to find a card that matches yours. You keep the card even if it doesn't.”

In ode to the dramatics, you stopped flipping the cards for the reveal.

“When the cards run out, the person with the Joker loses." You smile a sly grin.

“Got it?”

“Yep, two cards, clown guy, you lose.” He looked at you with an earnest and serious face. Putting his all into the game. A children’s game. It made you fluster with excitement.

He stretched his arm to grab a card. He clearly didn't get what he wanted as he grumbled.

A few other things you noted, even if you knew you had the joker your could easily see when Luffy had gotten it from his shocked face. He easily showed when you hovered over his cards what the card was. He was down when you lingered over a regular card and quickly shifted to happiness over a joker.

You took the joker several times as he cheered and laughed at your misfortune.

Nearing the end of the game, two cards were left, and Luffy had the Joker.

You paused the game, which was fun, but Luffy was clearly a bad liar. And he was really into the game. Every time he made an annoyed face when your hand was over the Joker. His brightness was adorable. Should you let him win?

No.

You swiftly swipe the other card, forming the final pair. Voicing a small yay at your victory, as Luffy yelled out in despair.

Laughing, you picked up the cards to place back in the box as Luffy continued to wallow.

“Luffy here.” He looked, finding the deck of cards at his face.

“To remember me by.”

He grabbed the deck. “Especially how I kicked your butt twice.” Giving him a teasing face. Suprinsgly, he didn’t make a comment at your taunt.

“[Name], join my crew.”

“Alright, why not?”

“Haha, yahoo!”

You got up, giving a hand to Luffy.

“Should we meet up with the crew, Captain?”

He grabbed your hand, lifting himself off his seat.

“Shihihi, let's go!”

You took Luffy to the scaffold; it's what he told his crew he would be at. Leaving him to grab your things before heading off. Telling him you meet him and to “not to get into any trouble, captain.” He laughed, saying he should be telling you that.

By the time you came out, the clouds had darkened as thunder rumbled in. You ran to the town center.

Entering on a Luffy trapped on the scaffold with Buggy, the clown holding a sword over his head.

You heard your name come from his lips, then his crew.

“Sorry. I'm a goner.”

And he laughed.

He laughed.

Yells continued when lightning struck.

Unfortunately, it wasn't an idea. The scaffold was now on fire. Rain pouring. You see a straw hat flutter to the ground. Hearing whispers of “he's alive?!” Then the clacking of sandals. You could finally see Luffy, his head swiveling around. “Oi, [name]!” Two men appeared at his side. One with very green hair and three swords, the other with a cigarette and a suit.

“Luffy, we need to go!”

“Not without [name], she said should be here.”

“Oi-

“We can't leave a lady lost, mosshead.”

“You don't even know her.” He yelled out As he clashed with the man in the suit despite pirates behind them.

You nudge through the crowd, shouting for your captain's name. He quickly turned to you. At what, this point felt for routine for you, stretching his hand out to grab you.

“You’re here! Took you long enough.”

“Of course, captain.”

“What a cutie!”

“Let's get going, already!”

Now, you, your hand in your captain's, and your new crewmates run away. And Marines chasing you.

“The winds are picking up.” The green-haired man said.

“The guys sure are persistent. Wanna stop and fight ‘em?”

“We don't have time! Nami told us to hurry back to the ship!” Somehow, he turned around running while his back was facing front. He clasped his hands near his face, and it seemed like heart eyes appeared.

“But if the lovely lady would like me to carry her. I would be happy to! ♡”

He looked at Luffy's and your hands intertwined.

“What are you doing?! Take your hands off her!”

“Huh? Why?”

You laughed, the man in the suit swooned, going on about your voice.

“Your friend is sweet, Luffy.” Shooting the man a finger heart.

Again, he swooned, as Luffy laughed, but the swordsman…

“Oi, focus.”

“Shut up, you oaf.”

The conversation stopped at the shouting of a swordswoman up ahead.

“Roronoa Zoro!”

“Hey! ♡”

“I could get jealous.”

He flustered, surprisingly turning a bit shy.

"Don’t be jealous, my sweet!”

“Master Chief Tashigi!”

You two had ignored what was happening around you.

“You're Zoro! You didn’t tell me you were a pirate! You were making fun of me! I won't stand for it.”

“What did you do to that girl!”

Zoro ignored him.

“Well, you never told me you were in the navy!”

“I'm going to take Wano Ichimonji away from you!”

You can hear his grin.

“Let's see you.”

They came into a clash. Luffy continued to run with you with the words from Zoro.

“Go ahead.”

“Okay.”

“He’s attacking a girl!”

“Come on.”

Luffy grabbed Sanji by the collar neck making him continue to run. A man appeared at the far end of the road.

“Hey! Who's that guy?”

“Not again.”

“So it's you, Strawhat Luffy.”

“Who are you?”

“The names Smoker.”

The cigar man moved to position himself to fight.

“Captain Smoker of the Navy. And I'm not letting you get away!”

His arms changed to smoke, shooting out towards grabbing Luffy. The smoke grabbed Luffy as he yelled out in surprise.

The suit man ran towards Smoker.

“Darn you, you fiend.”

Kicking what would be Smoker’s face, but fell through his smoke body. As he was distracting Smoker, you pulled a long knife from your bag, slicing through the two smoke arms holding Luffy. Focusing on the movement of your bag around your body to swing as much air as it could. Forcing bits of smoke away as you pull Luffy away from Smoker to get some ground.

“You alright, captain?”

He made a firm nod.

But the gentleman and your efforts seemed pointless as he was punched far away.

Luffy yelled out for his crewmate.

“Sanji! Why you…” He swung his arm back.

“Gum-Gum pistol!”

It went through Smoker’s body. As the smoke traveled behind you two.

“You're the one worth 30 million berries?”

He reappeared, clutching tightly to Luffy's head. Before you could think, another smoke arm blasted you away.

Damn, he packed a good punch. You didn’t land far away; you rose quickly. Not moving when you saw a cloaked man over Smoker and Luffy.

You couldn’t hear a single word over the pounding rain. And pelting you so hard it was hard to see the details of the face.

You did see him look up at you. Shouting out the words for you to see and hear. “Wind blast!”

The wind was so strong that it quickly picked you up. Being hit by all sorts of objects.

“ow" Smack “oow” Smack, smack. Grabbing the nearest pole, flying like a flag. Finally, thinking you were safe. When a literal man smacked into you. “OKAY ENOUGH!”

It did.

So quickly.

Without a landing.

You could shed a tear.

You probably did.

Smack!

That really hurt, but you felt the gentleness of someone's hands picking you up. Looking up, you find Sanji looking down at you.

“[Name]-swan, I'll protect you!” He says kicking a man on the ground who was near you away.

You giggle fist covering your mouth. “My knight in shining armor!”

He practically melts. His knees were buckling a bit before standing straight. With a wide smile, he starts running as Zoro grabs Luffy. Shouting out something you couldn’t hear, and Sanji clearly wasn't listening to.  Every once in a while, look at you, then return to looking up.

The four of you finally arrived at a ship with two people shouting at your group.

“LUFFY!”

A long-nosed man was holding tightly onto a rope connecting the boat to the port.

“Hurry! Hurry! The rope won't hold much longer.”

“Nami, I'm back!” Nami shouted back.

“You slowplokes! Hurry and get on board, we're leaving!”

As your group got closer, they finally saw you in Sanji’s arms. They squealed.

“WHO IS THAT!?!”

“DID YOU KIDNAP SOMEONE!?!”

Luffy laughed, stretching his arm to reach the rail.

“She's my nakama!”

“Huh!!” The two looked at you.

Zoro jumped to the rail, getting on board. Sanji, as delicately as he could, moved you to one of his arms.

“Hold on tigh-” You wrapped your arms around his neck. He stumbled a bit.

“[name]-swan! ♡” It seemed you gave him a newfound energy as he used his legs to jump on the ship. Even as everyone was running around to sail, the storm was by no means kind. Sanji took his time to set you down in a way to not let the rocking ship make you fall. You patted his arm. “Thank you, Sanji!”

“No problem [Name]! You call upon me anytime!”

*“Oi, cook. Stop flirting its pathetic.”

A shout stopped them from fighting.

“Enough! You shouldn't be shouting in front of our new crewmate like that.”

“If she can't handle this, she shouldn't be here.”

Sanji took a swing at him with a kick.

“DON’T TALK ABOUT NAMI AND [NAME] LIKE THAT!”

You and Nami ignore the pair fighting. “I'm sorry your first experience on the ship is during this storm. There's nothing else for us to do but keep on sailing forward.”

You shrugged with an easy-going flow. “No worries. What can be done?”

Usopp came up to you. He was shaking a bit from the nerves of being in the storm. “You're pretty calm for this experience.” He rubbed his nose. “Understandable, being under Captain Usopp's presence.”

“Haha, I just think I have pretty good luck. Nothing to worry about.” Waving your hand in assurance.

A large fish came out of a roaring wave and slapped your head. Then a wave knocks you over. You groaned.

“YOU CLEARLY DON’T!” They shouted. Two out of the other three members laughed at your comedy show. While Sanji kicked the fish towards the open door of the ship to grill it. For, in his words, punishment for harming you. At the point you would assume he would have fought the wave too if not for his priority to help you up. Fretting over you.

“Are you alright [Name]?” Nami said.

“Mhm, no need to worry, Nami.”

She giggled a bit at you.

Luffy moved to be next to you, wrapping an arm around you. For an official greeting.

“Yosh! Meet [Name]! She's a handful but has cool tricks!”

Immediately, he got whacked on the head by Nami. And yelled at by the crew.

“Like you should talk!”

Nami huffed. The heated look melted away when she looked at you.

"It's nice to finally have another girl on the crew. What’s your position?”

“No, clue! ~✿”

“Uh.” She stared back at you with wide eyes.

You heard the voice of Zoro calling out to your captain. “Luffy, there must have been a reason you asked her on the crew.”

“I told ya, she's pretty good at card tricks and games! She beat me!”

“That's not an accomplishment for you!”

“That's not what makes a pirate!”

Wham!

‘Poor Luffy.’

“I assure you, Zoro, I am capable of taking care of myself."

He was quietly looking for you for a moment before giving a small smirk.

“Nah, you can rely on us now.”

Your eyes widen seeing your crew… Your friends? All smiling at you.

In your culture, rain was a sign of your luck. You think you're starting to understand now. Of what your future looks like.

You remove the part of the scarf that was covering most of your face. Smiling at them. Luffy, surprise, surprise, laughs as he comments, “Oh, that's what you look like.” Zoro is quiet but with a smile. Nami, Sanji, and Usopp give the biggest reaction. Nami and Usopp stare at you in shock, and a few comments about your beauty.

“Wow, a goddess.”

Sanji was the biggest reaction. He stumbled back, hitting the ship’s rail, a cigarette falling out, before he went crashing down to his knees. Practically turning to stone. “You're so beautiful!!!”

“Wow, Sanji turned to stone.”

Now unfazed, Nami comes up to you, patting your shoulder.

“You're pretty cute, [Name]! Why were you hiding your face?”

Shrugging a bit, you responded.

"Some people get a little weird over my looks. Too focused on it. It could get uncomfortable.”

A squiggly Sanji passes by. You focused on Nami. “Sanji is an exception, of course.”

She shook her head. “If he acts weird or a creep comes toward you, tell me, and I'll knock him straight for ‘ya.” Showing you her fist with a wink and a sparkle.

Laughing with gratitude as you squeezed her hand as a quiet thank you. It did feel nice to be with another girl.

“Anyways, we’ll find something for you to do! In the meantime, why did you want to come to Grand Line?”

“Are we seriously having this conversation in the middle of the storm!!”

Usopp yelled out.

“What else are we supposed to do?” Nami said.

Usopp was still thinking of an answer.

“Jeez, be confident if your navigator. I've got this.” Returning to look at you sweetly to continue your conversation.

“I read a story from when I was a kid.” You gained their attention, surprising them with a vulnerability.

“It was about a fairy leaving her home after feeling stuck in her homeland. Making friends with a human, they became adventurers. In the stories, they were always discovering new things, species, and people. I thought, what could I find out there?”

You looked up, letting the cold rain wash your face to cool you. Unable to face your crew in an admittedly childish dream.

“The way the fairy spoke, how she felt alive in these adventures. The happiness was never-ending, especially with her friends. It was… magical. I couldn’t understand that feeling, but I wanted to.”

Finally getting the courage to look at them. They had no ill listening intently with smiles. Now you wanted to look away again for a different reason.

“Shihihi, see she's perfect! We're going to have so much fun!”

Suddenly, you notice a light on the waves sweeping over to the ship. Glancing over to its source.

“The lighthouse.” You said.

Nami moved to the front of the ship.

“That's the guiding light. Beyond that light is the entrance to the Grand Line.”

Turning towards you all. “So, what's it gonna be?”

Sanji grabbed a barrel putting in the middle of everyone.

“Okay, let's launch this ship into the great ocean!!”

Once again, Usopp’s voice wobbled while spouting his worries.

“Do we have to do this in the middle of a storm?”

“ALL RIGHT!”

Luffy shouted. Sanji kicks his leg for the heel of the shoe to land on top of the barrel.

“I'm going to find the All Blue.”

Luffy swung his leg next. Gritting his teeth.

“I'M GOING TO BE KING OF THE PIRATES!”

Zoro followed the lead of his captain.

“I'm going to be the greatest swordsman!”

Nami went next.

“I'm going to draw a map of the world!

Finally was Usopp.

“I'm going to become a great warrior of the sea.”

They were looking at you. You waved them in assurance. “I couldn't possibly. I just joined. This seems too personal.”

“Nonsense, I've only joined the crew not that long ago.” Sanji have you a reassuring smile.

“Yeah, [Name]. I wasn't even the crew officially until a few days ago.”

You raised a brow at that.

She giggled, sticking her tongue out with a wink. “I'll tell you later.”

Usopp pointed at himself with his thumb. “Listen to your Captain and join in!”

“Hey, I'm the captain here!”

Flailing his arms amazingly without falling.

Then he looked at you.

“What’s the problem [Name]?”

You couldn’t come up with a response when they were so open in welcoming you.

Zoro sighed with a small smile.

“Just join in already. No use in fighting.”

You were feeling hot.

And so with the rain as your background, you walked closer. Finally, lift your leg to the barrel. With excited eyes on you as you let out a shout.

“I'm going to explore every inch of this world!”

They cheered for you. Another wave crashed into the ship when Luffy yelled.

“GRAND LINE, HERE WE COME!!”

Bonus Scene: During Luffy and Buggy's fight.

“[Name] is more talented than anyone in your circus.”

“WHO THE HELL IS [NAME]?”

Notes:

I'm a new one piece fan sooo... still getting used to writing the characters. So, how are you liking MC? Did I do the crew justice?
