A year passed after the war.
The greatest battle between heroes and villains. The battle in Japan that the whole world watched.
And Midoriya Izuku, the Ninth wielder of One For All, destroyed Shigaraki Zen, known as All For One, saved the world and became the greatest hero in history.
His final Smash was so powerful that it created a strong wind that spread across the entire Earth for a whole week.
But... Izuku had to pay a price for it...
He lost One For All, and became a mukosei (無個性) again...
But the saddest part for Izuku was... that he would never see them again...
Yoichi... Kudo... Bruce... Hikage... Daigoro... En... and Nana...
They were not just mentors to him...
They were family to him...
And so, the third year is already coming to an end. The former Class 1-A, which is now Class 3-A, is graduating today.
Sotsugyo-shiki (卒業式). Graduation ceremony. March.
A lot of people came to U.A. Parents, friends, heroes, and the rest...
Izuku watched all of this from the window of his former classroom...
He changed noticeably after the war. He grew to 180 cm. His hair became spikier and less messy. And he also got curtains-style bangs. A scar on his right cheek, a reminder of the battle with Shigaraki. Scars on his arms.
And his face — once childish and cute, now the face of a young man.
He looked out at the courtyard, at the guests, and smiled.
He felt joy, peace... and a light sadness.
Ochako 「Deku-kun!」
Izuku turned around and saw Uraraka, who was walking up to him with a charming smile.
She grew up too. She became even cuter. No. Charming. Both cute and beautiful at the same time. And she grew to 166 cm.
Ochako 「Why are you standing here? Let's go! The ceremony is about to start!」
Izuku 「Sure, right now!」
She smiles radiantly at him and runs to the ceremony. Izuku sighs, and follows after her.
And so. The moment they had been waiting for for 3 years...
Diplomas.
Class 3-A and 3-B, General Studies, Support Department, Management Department.
They all receive their diplomas personally from Principal Nezu.
It was Izuku's turn. He walks onto the stage and approaches Nezu.
The principal smiles proudly at him and hands him the diploma.
Nezu 「Thank you, Midoriya-san!」
Izuku (smiling shyly) 「Oh, come on... We did it all together!」
Nezu 「True. But the world is saved thanks to you. You are the greatest hero in history, Midoriya-san. We are proud of you.」
Izuku is surprised and holds back a lump in his throat. He smiles and turns toward the guests.
They are all applauding him.
Kota 「Midoriya-Onii-chan!」
Eri 「Deku-san!」
Kota and Eri, the children he had saved, were rejoicing and crying in the front row.
Toshinori 「I am proud of you, Midoriya-shonen...」
Toshinori was crying.
Aizawa 「...You did it, Midoriya.」
His sensei was smiling.
And of course...
Inko 「My baby... I'm so proud of you!」
His mom was crying from happiness.
Midoriya Inko had also changed. She lost weight and became slim again. Besides that, she looks younger again. Now people mistake her for Izuku's older sister.
Happy tears rolled down Izuku's cheeks.
He looked at them.
Then at his friends...
They are happy. Some are crying from happiness.
Uraraka-san looks at him with happy tears in her eyes.
Todoroki-kun is smiling.
Kacchan... Changed too. He's no longer that aggressive shouter.
He is smiling. Calmly. In his own way.
Izuku smiles and joins his friends.
Their studies at U.A. are over.
Their school life too.
Now they are officially pro heroes.
And their journey is just beginning...
