Chapter Text
Betrayal. Hate. Jealousy. Those three words are what you felt as you heard the moans from the other side of the door. Your boyfriend, Midoriya, had only done this once before. Of course you had forgiven him, after all, he was drunk and the woman looked almost identical to you. Her hair was just slightly longer. You thought the alcohol had made him believe the random fangirl was you; however, you knew for a fact Midoriya was sober this time. Tears streamed down your face as you prepared to open the motel door with the key card. You took in a deep breath and quietly slid the key through the slot. The door opened as you pushed it abruptly and the actions in the room ceased. You laughed through your tears as you saw your best friend and boyfriend mingled in the sheets together.
"Y/n?! It's not what it looks like!" Your brunette friend, Uraraka, yelled whilst she fumbled to untangle herself.
"Y-yeah! It's a misunderstanding!" Midoriya agreed, also struggling to untangle himself.
"Fuck. You." You hissed at him. "And you," you said, jerking your finger over to Uraraka, "I thought you knew better. We are supposed to have one another's back, not go down like you're on crack!" You screamed. "I should have seen this coming! You always got touchy with one another! Always ignored me for each other!" More tears cascaded down your s/c face as you walked away from the door. You pulled out your phone and dialed the only other person you could trust, Mina. She was the director of another band that played to win against the one you had directed for years, but nevertheless, she was always there for you.
"Hello? Y/n what's wrong?" Your pinkette friend asked through the phone's speaker.
"You're n-never going to believe this." You choked out through sobs, "You were right. T-they were after one another. I caught them in our room." You cried more.
"Oh, Y/n! I knew he was no good for you. Damn it! Look, if I don't meet you in person, I'll seriously throw a hissy fit. Can you meet in the lobby?" She asked, you could tell she was agitated by her voice and her frantic way of speaking.
You tried to calm yourself, "S-sure. I'm walking that way now."
"Good." Mina hung up the phone and you sighed.
"Just my luck, huh?" You ask no one, seeing as nobody was around to even answer your question.
The lobby was a short walk away from the disaster and you trudged there while you tried to calm yourself and rid your cheeks of any tears. The glass door showed your reflection and you paused. Your e/c eyes looked dull, h/c hair looked messier, and the s/c around your eyes became slightly red and puffy. You shook your head as you pulled the door open. Immediately you were engulfed into a hug.
"I'm going to stab him! He has no right to do that to you!" Mina said, giving you a tight squeeze.
Her welcoming hug made you start to cry more and you hugged her back. "What did I do wrong?! Why does he hate me? Why did Ochako betray me..?" Your voice started out loud before it trailed off into sobs.
Mina released you and placed her dark arms on your shoulders, "Look at me. You didn't do anything wrong! It was his choice to cheat and now it's your choice to find a better man." She reassured you.
"I just can't help but feel like it was my fault. After all, I was always so needy, so clingy, I always gave him unnecessary gifts. I basically forced him to hate me." You wiped your eyes and a soft slap was received on your left arm.
"You do not get to think that! Any guy should accept those 'unnecessary' gifts and shower you with hugs and kisses! Any man should find your neediness and clinginess cute. He should have been just as equally clingy and needy. If I ever hear you say his cheating was your fault, I'll smack you harder."
You let a small smile creep on your face and a laugh followed. "Mina, you really want me to believe it was his fault?"
She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose, "You see, this is your problem. You're so selfless when it comes to this kind of thing."
"I can't help it, okay? I've always been this way." You huffed.
"That's not a bad trait, so don't get me wrong. Now you can stay with me in my hotel room. I'm sure staying with him would cause some problems. I'd say you could travel with us as well, but you have to make sure to keep track of the costs, miles, and how smoothly everything goes for them, sadly." Mina said, grabbing you by your wrist. You followed her freely and let her take you to her room. She opened the door with the key card. Her room wasn't much different from yours or Midoriya's. It was just reversed. Two beds were placed in the middle of the room, a wooden dresser was between them, a TV hung from the cream walls, and a small white fridge sat on a small wooden stand underneath the TV. "You can make yourself at home. I'll ask one of the guys to keep you company while I go and get your stuff. I might smack the both of them to Hell and back though." She said while she placed her phone down on the stand between the beds.
You let out a small laugh. "I won't say no to that."
She grinned at you, "That's what I needed to hear! Alright. I'll go and get your stuff. See you in a short few." She walked out of the door and shut it behind her.
You took this time to recollect yourself at the small sink near the bathroom. You splashed water on your face. "This trip is going to be a long one." You said in a muffled sigh as you patted the water off with the hand towel that draped itself over the metal rod attached to the wall.
Rapid knocking sounded at the door, alerting you and you placed the towel down. Without a second glance you opened the door. "Hey. I heard what happened." The male said as he rubbed his slightly tan hand through his red hair.
"I'm fine, Kirishima. It's just a silly heartbreak." You stepped aside, allowing the ray of sunshine into the room.
"Never knew Midoriya would do that. He always acted so shy around anyone. Guess he was fooling all of us." He said while plopping himself on the velvet colored comforter.
"Maybe that's just what he wanted. I knew the real him though. He isn't just a shy boy. No he's actually fairly mean. I just choose to ignore it. Even when he hit me once bu-" You got cut short.
"He hit you?! When did this happen and why didn't you tell me?!" Kirishima looked absolutely angered by your words. You shrank back, on reflex, as you realized you already said too much.
"I- I've said too much." you mumbled.
Kirishima stood, "That's it. I'm a nice guy and all, but when you hurt my friends you're going to pay." Kirishima had always been like a protective older brother to you, so you felt ashamed you troubled him with something that he should worry about. He nearly jerked the door off its hinges and he flew out of the door.
"Kirishima! Wait!" You yelled after him, running out of the door. He was already a quarter of the way to the room that occupied Midoriya. "Calm down! It's not a big deal!" You tried reassuring him.
Kirishima stopped in his tracks and he glanced at you over his shoulder, "Not a big deal? He put his hands on you! No man should ever do that! It's so unmanly!" He yelled. The yelling between the two of you had caused a few people to open their doors and look out.
"What's going on Kiri?" A familiar blonde asked.
"Nothing Kami-" You started in protest.
"Midoriya hit them. So I'm going over here to have a chat with him." Kirishima said, continuing his walk.
"He what!?" Kaminari asked, his voice raising at the end. He didn't let a reply be told to him as he turned his head around to look back into the room.
You didn't care to listen to his words as you caught up to Kirishima. "Hey, look. It was only a few nights ago! I'm fine, really! I don't want you beating him up over something so stupid." He ignored your words as he continued his walk.
A door opened several feet in front of you and you saw Mina step out with a snarl plastered on her face. "Such a jerk! He even had the audacity to let Uraraka go through your stuff!" She then paused, "Hey, why do you look mad?" She asked the angered Kirishima.
"Midoriya hit 'em, apparently. I'm just going to talk to him." Kirishima said, trying to step around Mina, but she stopped him.
"Kirishima, this isn't you. Look, I know him hitting Y/n is bad, no scratch that, I'm going to kill him myself, but I don't think we should attack him. I can't have any of us getting arrested." She sighed. "But~" she sang, "Bakugo does have a way at convincing the police it was for a good reason~"
"Mina, no. Please guys, I'm fine. Besides, I've gotten use to-" You cut yourself off as soon as you realized what you were about to say, "Look my point is, is that we should just leave it. I don't want more drama when I have to board the bus with them." You say. Footsteps sounded behind you and you turned around. "Please tell me you guys didn't hear what happened?" You trailed off.
"That fucking nerd better have not laid his hands on you! I'll kill him." Bakugo, your best friend, who was always there for you, seethes through clenched teeth. Kaminari, Jiro, and Sero nodded at his words, as if they were saying and thinking the same thing. Bakugo pushed past the lot of you and banged on the, now closed, door.
"Bakugo, it's really not a big deal! Let's all just go back to our rooms before we cause trouble!" You say pulling on his arm. He grumbles and starts to turn. The door opens.
"What do you want, Whore? Midoriya doesn't want to see you." Uraraka spat at you, though her face looked concerned; however, you failed to notice her concerned and saddened stare. You guessed she didn't notice the others, as she spotted you first, because she quickly changed expressions, "Wha- You really had to bring them here?! Why bring them into your shit?" She snapped and you coward back behind Bakugo.
"L-let's-just leave." You quietly spoke tugging on Bakugo's shirt.
Mina decided to step in and placed her foot between the crack of the door. "Listen here, You have no right to speak to Y/n that way! Now let us in. We need a word with Midoriya."
"Like I'd let you i -Ah!" She yelped and stumbled back when Bakugo hit the door hard enough for her to fall on her rump and for it to fly open.
Midoriya was sitting on the bed, a smug look plastered itself on his face. "Had to bring your fuck buddies with you? Aw, that's cute~" He sang in a snobby manner. Kaminari, Kirishima, Jiro, Sero, and Mina stood in the doorway.
"Shut up, Nerd! You have no right to hit an innocent person!" Bakugo yelled and Midoriya scoffed.
"Says you." He got up from his spot and stood a foot away from Bakugo. "I suggest you leave before the police get called, unless you want to get your ass handed to you."
He shoved the ash blonde back. "Why you-"
"Guys stop!" You shouted and ran to stand between the two. "Let's just go! We'll handle this another time!"
Midoriya scoffed at you before shoving you as well, making you stumble, "Better listen to the bitch." If looks could kill, Midoriya would certainly be very much dead with the look Bakugo gave him as he kept you from falling to the ground.
"You better your fucking days! Next fucking time I see you, you might as well get ready to die."
"Is that a threat?"
"It's a fucking promise. Let's go guys." Bakugo grabbed your wrist and walked out the door with the others. The door slammed and the very obvious sound of a lock was heard. "Why wouldn't you let me teach him a lesson?!"
"Because! Violence is never the answer!" You retorted and wrapped your arms around yourself.
"I don't know how I feel about you being the director for them anymore. Perhaps you should join Mina in assisting us?" Jiro said, bringing her arms around you. The rest followed, except Bakugo, who was already making his way back to his room.
"I can't do that. Then I'll look like a disgrace to the Uravity fans." You stated, enjoying the group hug.
"God the nerve, I can't believe this. Isn't the band named after Uraraka's nickname or something?" Mina asked as the hug dialed down. The three boys decided to head back, some still very angered, and the three of you walked slowly to your room.
"Yeah, I guess it is. Midoriya picked it too" You mumbled.
"Well, who cares what the fans think, we'll call Midoriya out and whomever still supports them can get the hell away from us." Mina said, "Well it's getting dark. And we all have to leave fairly early in the morning if we want to make it to the concert. See you Jiro."
Mina gave the purple haired girl a small hug before dragging you to your shared room. "Call me if he tries anything, okay? I'll see if I can get Jiro to ride your bus. If that's okay." Mina said taking her shoes off at the door, you had already kicked yours off and were now laying on the bed.
"I should be fine, I still have Iida, Todoroki, and Asui to keep me safe." You told Mina. She was reluctant, but nodded. "Oh, Alright. As long as you feel safe during the nine hour ride, I'll feel safe too. Goodnight, Y/n, make sure to rest up. Long day tomorrow."
You smiled at her as she turned off the lights, "Goodnight, Mina."
