The tales of Hogwarts

Summary:

This work will eventually have short stories about many characters in the Harry Potter universe, all of them how I think their time at Hogwarts was like, or just how their lives went in my opinion.

So far there is: Molly Weasley

This work is fiction, these stories are not canon and I do not own Harry Potter.

Notes:

I hope you enjoy the first chapter, about our beloved Molly Weasley in her youth.

Check out the end notes to find the link to my version of 17 year old Molly Weasley.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Molly Weasley

Chapter Text

Before Molly Weasley was Molly Weasley she was rather different. Molly often liked to think that Molly Weasley was a completely different and better person than Molly Prewett ever was. Molly Prewett wasn't like Molly Weasley.

Molly Weasley loves being a mother, loves Arthur Weasley with all her heart and likes cooking, knitting and reading.
Molly Prewett, while she no longer exists, didn't want to get pregnant, pitied Arthur Weasley and liked her motorcycle, sleeping around and ditching school.

When McGonagall heard that her student Molly Prewett was pregnant she was worried about that child and the teenager who refused to share who knocked her up.
When McGonagall saw that a child named William Weasley would be attending Hogwarts in the class of 1982, she was pleased, Arthur had been such a good child but when she saw that the mother was Molly Prewett she was scared, scared that this boy would be as much of a trouble maker as Molly was. But then she met Molly Weasley, she saw no shadow of the girl she had once been.

Would you like to hear the story of how Molly Prewett became no more and only Molly Weasley was left in her tracks?
Well good, because here it is.

Molly parks her flying motorcycle just behind the groundskeeper's hut. Molly pulls off her helmet and shakes her hair slightly. She relaxes on her bike seat and sets her helmet onto the handle bars. She reaches for the pocket of her leather jacket, pulling out her pack of cigarettes. She placed one in between her lips and pats around her pockets for her lighter. Nothing.

"Fuck sake." She mumbles. She had heard a muggle born she slept with the previous week say it and she had been using it since. She glanced over at a slack jawed 5th year Ravenclaw with a lit cigarette in his own hand. He glanced down at his cigarette and hides it behind his back with a squeak.

"Please don't tell anyone." The boy says shakily. Molly scoffs and shakes her head.

"You got a light then?" She asks. The boy nods and pulls a lighter from his pocket. She leans over the handle bars. His eyes dart down to her pushed together chest and then back up as his face flushes. He lights the cigarette straight from her mouth.

"Y-your that 7th year Gryffindor everyone says is trouble aren't you?" He asks shakily as he takes a few steps back. She leans back again with a nod.

"That's me." She says gesturing to her almost completely unbuttoned Hogwarts uniform shirt.

"Wasn't your older brother head boy two years ago?" The Ravenclaw asks gently.

"Yep. My mum's pride and joy. You got siblings?" Molly asks. Molly swings her leg over her motorcycle, standing up. Her short skirt swishes over her long leather boots. She flattens down her leather jacket collar and breathes out her smoke.

"Yeah, I got a 3 year old brother and two older sisters." The boy says.

"Yeah? I'm the youngest. What are your sister's names I might know 'em?" Molly says casually.

"Oh, they're squibs y-you wouldn't know them. But my brother's name is Gilderoy."

"Oh. And you are?" Molly asks.

"Hugh Lockhart." The boy smiles.

"Well, cheers for the light Hugh." Molly grins and walks past him, around the groundskeeper's hut and forward over the bridge to the main building.

Molly Prewett had a long curly head of hair that was shaved on one side so that didn't quite cover her eyebrow piercing. Molly had never ever seen another witch with one, hence why she wanted her eyebrow piercing, which she had done herself, to be showing. She had bright red lipstick on and she seldom wore her uniform correctly. Her skirt was too short. Her shirt was always unbuttoned at the top to show her impressive cleavage, her tie was always loose and she always wore big thigh high brown leather boots.
Up until fourth year Molly was one of the top in her year in most classes, potions being one of the few she didn't excel in. But then she just suddenly changed once fifth year started.

Just before she entered the courtyard, where she knew teachers would be swarming she pulled out her wand from where it had been tucked into the waist band of her g-string, and vanished the cigarette.

Molly got her usual stares and whispers as she walked through the courtyard, through the main building and up the moving staircases. The fat lady portrait sent her a stern look as she approached.

"Miss Prewett, you haven't spent a night in your own dorm for the past three weeks." The lady said, crossing her arms. Molly pokes her tongue out at the portrait.

"Piss off you nosy hag." Molly snaps. "Brimstone Eagle." She added with a scoff.

"You can say the password all you want Missy but I will not accept it if you're not polite about it." The lady says with a pointed expression. Molly sighs.

"Brimstone Eagle, PLEASE." Molly says in a sing-songy voice. The lady sighs and the portrait swings open. Molly snickers as she walks through. Molly enters the Gryffindor common room and plans to walk straight through when she catches the view of herself in the mirror and she grins.

She fluffs her hair and winks at herself before carrying on her way to her dorm, which she is seldom in these days. She ascends the stairs and pushes open her dorm door. There is a startled shriek from two of her roommates Nancy and Rebecca who were painting their nails on Nancy's bed.

"H-Haven't seen y-you in a while." Rebecca stuttered out. Molly scoffed at the shy girl.

"It's 1967 isn't it? It's a free world, I can come back to my dorm when and if I want to." Molly snaps.

"She wasn't saying you couldn't." Nancy bites back. Molly cocks a hip and turns to the two girls. Nancy had jet black hair that was currently in a messy bun, she was painting Rebecca's finger nails light purple to match the girl's glasses. Rebecca had big light purple cat eye glasses and strawberry blonde hair was in a plait resting on her shoulder.

"How've your boring lives been then?" Molly quips.

"Better than yours, no doubt. Had enough bed surfing yet?" Nancy asks.

"Nah not yet just had to pick up some more condoms." Molly snaps sarcastically with an eye roll.

"Checks out." Nancy snorts. Molly then turns back to her bed and is about to grab something out of her trunk when there is a knock on the dorm door.

"I swear to Merlin Molly, your suitors keep coming here looking for you! Do you know how boring it gets to say to four boys a day that my roommate is in some other boys's dorm!" Nancy yells, while Rebecca got up to answer the door.

"It's not my fault that the boys in this school are hornier than kneazles on heat!" Molly snaps back.

"Says you!" Nancy shouts, standing up. Neither of the girls noticed Rebecca awkwardly clearing her throat.

"You wouldn't understand because you're a fucking dike!" Molly yells.

"Molly!" Rebecca's high pitched voice exclaims. The two arguing girls immediately turned to the usually quiet girl with raised eyebrows. Rebecca sighs. "There's a boy here for you." The girl says quietly. Nancy turns to smirk at Molly.

"Told you so."

"Oh piss off you daft cow." Molly snaps before strutting over to the dorm door. "Yes?" She asks and then she scans the boy in the doorway, her brows furrowed. "No offence love but I sure as Merlin did not sleep with you." She says gently.

In the doorway was a very tall ginger boy covered in freckles. He had reading glasses perched on his nose and he was rather lean. Molly recognised him slightly but not by name.

The boy blushed a bright pink and pushed his glasses up. "N-no. I'm Arthur Weasley and-"

"Oh! You're that boy that has repeated 7th year so you could take muggle studies. That's right. You take private lessons that's why I haven't seen you much." Molly nods and then paused, leaning on the door frame. "What're doing here then, I thought you were fooling around with that 6th year Malfoy lad?"

Arthur spluttered and blushed even pinker somehow. "W-where did you hear that?" He asks nervously, anxiously rubbing his elbow.

"Oh no where love, just swear I saw you and Malfoy snogging in an alcove while I was looking for a place to shag. Don't worry I won't tell anyone you're gay." Molly says with a small smile.

"I-i'm not. Well, I... I like girls too." He says defensively.

"Alright." Molly chuckles. "You looking for a shag then?" She asks. Not that Molly was picky but she could climb this guy like a tree.

"What? No! McGonagall sent me to come get you because the Fat Lady spread the word about you being back in your own dorm for once." Arthur said. His eyes then widen. "That sounded judge-y. Sorry, I mean no disrespect."

Molly chuckles. "Nah it's alright, love." She winks just to see him blush again. "So, what does the woman want?" Molly sighs, running a hand through her hair.

"Just to see you in her office." Arthur shrugs.

***

"Hey Arthur." Molly grins, sitting across from him at dinner four days later. Arthur glances around before gulping down his current mouthful of food.

"Hi?" He says with furrowed brows. "Can I help you?"

"Well, Arthur, no offence but you strike me as a man who hasn't got any mates, and well, I ain't got any mates. So, do you wanna be mates?" Molly grins.

"Uh, well, sure, I guess." Arthur shrugs, reaching for his pumpkin juice.

"Sweet. Right, feed me some gossip will you? How's your boyfriend?" Molly grins, leaning forward eagerly. Arthur promptly chokes on the pumpkin juice and into a series of coughs.

"L-Lucius if NOT my boyfriend." He says.

"Is that a bad thing?" Molly questions, reaching for the toast.

"N-no, we're just messing around a bit, his parents don't know he likes guys. Besides w-we both like girls too. I-I think. Well, I definitely do, I'm not sure about Luci." Arthur says, blushing slightly. "I-I mean Lucius."

"Ah." Molly nods. "So, you ever slept with a girl then?" Molly then asks with a faint smirk, looking up at him from under her lashes.

"No. My only sex experience is from Lucius." Arthur chuckles slightly, not looking up from his breakfast.

"You wanna sleep with a girl?" Molly smirks cheekily.

"I mean, yeah, of course who- oh! D-did you mean... y-you?" Arthur stutters with wide eyes.

"I mean, if you want to." Molly grins. "Would um, Lucius be alright with that?" She adds, biting her lip enticingly.

"I um, I mean, I'd be open to trying. And uh, I could ask him if he wouldn't mind but we're not exclusive or anything so I don't think he'd mind." Arthur said with wide eyes as he nodded to himself slightly.

"Okay." Molly chuckled.

"I-I'll go ask now." Arthur said eagerly, standing already.

"Okay." Molly laughed brightly. Arthur glanced around before walking over to the Slytherin table. He bumped into a first year Slytherin girl with white blonde hair, her brunette friend walking beside her.

"Oh, sorry." Molly heard Arthur say. The girls just smiled.

"Come on, Narcissa." Molly then heard the brunette say. The blonde girl nodded and they continued their exit of the Great Hall.

Molly watched as Arthur approached Lucius. Lucius had long platinum blonde hair that was currently in an elaborate up-do, that, to Molly at least, looked rather girly. When Arthur approached him, Lucius perked up and blushed slightly, giving a little wave at the tall boy. Arthur put one arm on the table and bent down to whisper in Lucius's ear. The 16 year old's face fell slightly and he looked a bit hurt but when Arthur pulled away to see the boy's face, Lucius nodded slightly, with a small smile, that even from the Gryffindor table, Molly could see didn't reach his eyes.

Arthur glanced around, saw no one was watching and then quickly pecked Lucius's cheek. That made the blonde go pink again and smile bashfully. Arthur smiled at the blonde and made his way back to the Gryffindor table. He sat back down across from Molly.

"He says that he understands my want to experiment entirely and he's totally ok with it." Arthur smiles. Molly's brows furrowed.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, that's what he said." Arthur nodded. "Just to be clear, this does not mean I want to date you or anything, I just want to try sleeping with a woman, then I'll be going back to Luci anyway." Arthur added.

"Of course, I'm not asking you on a date, I'm asking for a shag." Molly chuckled.

"Okay." Arthur smiled. Molly then pushed her plate away and stood up. "Oh, right now?" Arthur questions.

"Why you got better people to do?" Molly teases. Arthur shakes his head slightly and stands as well. Molly takes his hand and leads him out of the great hall.

***

"Holy shit!" Molly exclaims, scrambling back slightly.

"What?! What's wrong with it!?" Arthur asks nervously, glanced at his cock which Molly had just pulled from his boxers. Molly was just in her bra and skirt now, sitting at the end of Arthur's king bed in his single room with wide eyes.

"Nothing's WRONG with it. It's just... you are, like, really hung." Molly awes.

"Oh. Luci says I'm pretty big too, but he also hasn't had any experience so I wasn't too sure. But, I am?" Arthur smiles smugly.

"Oh, yeah, this is... fuck, this is... massive." Molly giggles breathlessly. She bites her lip. "Do you mind if I ride it raw, I'll pull off." Molly asks hopefully.

"I don't know what that means but yeah, sure." Arthur nods with a smile.

***

"Ah! Ah! Ahhh!" Molly moaned as she bounced on Arthur's massive cock.

"C-can I flip us?" Arthur groaned. Molly nodded, not quite paying attention. Arthur suddenly flipped the pair so her was above Molly. Molly moaned and wrapped her legs around his hips. Arthur grunted slightly and started moving.

Soon, he was thrusting faster, she was moaning louder, and then, he groans loudly and empties himself inside her before collapsing. She moans as she cums at the same time. He rolls off of her and lies on his back beside her.

"Thanks." Arthur murmured. Molly chuckled breathlessly and rolled onto her side, throwing an arm over his abdomen.

"No. No, thank you Arthur. Thank you for your massive fucking cock!" Molly laughs happily, kicking her legs excitedly. Arthur chuckled.

***

Three weeks later.

Molly just barely made it to the toilet in time to puke in it. The 7th year dorms had en suites and Molly thanked Merlin for them the last four days. She had been ill the last few days, she always woke up feeling nauseous and had to puke.

"Are you okay, Molly?" Rebecca asked quietly, leaning on the en suite door frame. Molly turned and leaned on the wall, flushing the toilet.

"I'm fine. I'll just get Pomfrey to write me a note again." Molly sighs. The nurse had only been working here for about 2 months so Molly did feel a bit bad about visiting her every day lately when she was still adjusting. "There must be something going around."

"I'm telling you, Molly, you're knocked up." Nancy called from the bedroom.

"I am not, Nancy!" Molly yells back.

"Ask Pomfrey to do a pregnancy check then. I'll bet you 10 galleons you're pregnant." Nancy says, coming to stand in the doorway beside Rebecca.

"Fine." Molly snaps.

***

"What? What the bloody Merlin do you mean I'm pregnant!?" Molly exclaimed, trying to stay quiet in the almost empty hospital wing. Madam Pomfrey had just told her the terrible news, although the woman acted as if it was a good thing.

"I'm sorry Miss Prewett, I can see you're upset but you are, no doubt, with child." Madam Pomfrey smiles.

"I don't believe you, do the test again." Molly gritted out.

"Miss Prewett, I am qualified. You are 100% pregnant." The woman sighed. Molly angrily slammed her fist on the table.

"No I am not!" She yells, tears beginning to well in her eyes. She stood up forcefully. Madam Pomfrey sent her a look of pity.

"Molly, I can offer you the best midwife services for your pregnancy later on." The woman said carefully.

"I am not pregnant!" She wailed loudly, tears finally bursting from her eyes as she dropped down into her seat again, hiding her head in her hands and sobbing uncontrollably. "I can't be pregnant."

"Oh, Miss Prewett, it's alright, I'll write you a note of excuse for classes today." Madam Pomfrey says kindly, standing to rub the girl's back sympathetically.

***

Molly slammed down 10 galleons onto Nancy's desk in their dorm while Nancy was doing homework there. Molly had spent the day lying near the lake trying to clear her thoughts.
Nancy's brows furrowed and she glanced at the galleons, then up to Molly's face with puffy sad eyes, and tear marks running down her face. Nancy's face burst into realisation.

"Oh, Molly." Nancy murmured, standing up to wrap her arms around Molly. The pair had been best friends until 5th year started Molly started being more rebellious. Molly hugged Nancy back and sobbed into her old friend's shoulder.

"I don't know what to do." Molly wailed. The dorm door swung open then and Rebecca gasped when she saw the pair. She closed the door and rushed over.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm pregnant." Molly sobbed.

"Oh my God. W-who's the dad?" Rebecca asked hesitantly, rubbing Molly's hand. Molly sniffed and pulled away from Nancy's shoulder.

"W-what?" She asked, wiping her face on her sleeve.

"Who's the dad?" Rebecca repeated. Nancy then looked to me with an expecting expression.

"Oh god I didn't even think about the dad." Molly sniffled. She thought for a moment and her eyes widened. "Fuck." She whispers with wide eyes.

"What?" Nancy questions gently.

"It's Arthur. Arthur Weasley." Molly whispers with wide eyes.

"That weird guy who retook the year just to do muggle studies?" Rebecca asked with furrowed brows. Molly nodded.

"Well, you better go tell him then." Nancy said. Molly bit her lip and nodded.

"Yeah, I-I guess." She whispers.

"Do you want us to go find him for you?" Rebecca asked. Molly nodded and wiped her eyes again.

"Yeah, you better go fetch him."

***

"What?" Arthur asked, going pale.

"I-I'm pregnant. A-and you're the dad." Molly stuttered out nervously.

"Bloody hell." Arthur murmurs, taking his glasses off to rub his eyes, before slipping them back on.

"A-are you okay?" Molly asks, anxiously rubbing her hands together.

"Not really Prewett." Arthur breathed out. "Fuck. What am I gonna tell Lucius?"

"What do you mean?" Molly asks.

"Well, I can't fool around with a bloke when I've got a baby on the way." Arthur says with a scoff.

"Oh, I don't expect you to break things up with Lucius because of me." Molly says with a sigh.

"You're acting so different." Arthur murmured.

"What do you mean?" Molly snapped. Arthur smirked amusedly.

"Never mind. But, anyway, as I was saying, you cannot expect me to just leave you by yourself. You're 17 and pregnant. With my baby. I'm not just gonna let you do this on your own." Arthur says.

"What? No way! I don't need your help. I don't even want the stupid baby." Molly scoffed.

"What? Absolutely not! I am helping you with this." Arthur insisted. Molly thought for a moment.

"Fine. You can help, but in 7 months." Molly says finally.

"What?" Arthur questioned.

"The school year ends in 7 months. I don't want anyone to know you're the dad. I want to protect my privacy and yours. I don't want anyone but the people I've already told, to know who the father is. So you can help me once school ends. We'll both be leaving Hogwarts by the end of the year anyway." Molly says.

"Molly, this is my kid too, I don't just want to leave you to do this pregnancy alone." Arthur said, leaning forward in his chair.

"You can help, but not during the day, and only ever in my dorm or your dorm." Molly says. Arthur bites his lip.

"Okay." He nods eventually.

***

Four and a half months later.

"You alright?" Arthur asks Molly after letting her into his private dorm. Molly rubbed her belly. Molly's belly wasn't very big yet, but it was noticeable, but many people would guess the girl had just gained some weight. Molly scoffs before taking a seat on Arthur's bed.

"McGonagall keeps prodding me, trying to figure out who the dad is." Molly says with an eye roll. "As if I'm telling her."

Arthur laughs. "And how's the baby?" He asks with a smile.

"I felt the fucker kick today." Molly sneers. She still wasn't overly pleased about the pregnancy. She acted like she hated it, but Arthur had a feeling she did actually care.

"That for the first time?" Arthur asked excitedly. Molly rolls her eyes but nods. Arthur grins happily. "H-have you asked Pomfrey for the gender reveal spell yet?" Arthur asks.

"N-no, I wasn't going to. D-do you want to know?" Molly asks. Arthur bites his lip and nods after a beat of silence.

"But it's your body 'Mols. If you don't want to know the gender, don't find out." Arthur says.

"Okay. I'll ask her." Molly sighed after a stretch of silence.

"Oh thank you." Arthur grins happily.

***

"Really?" Arthur asks with a grin. Molly rolls her eyes.

"For the millionth time, yes." She scoffs affectionately. Arthur grins at Molly.

"We're gonna have a daughter." Arthur grins. Molly bites her lip to contain her smile.

"I bet she's gonna be a right little bitch." Molly scoffs. Arthur smiles and moves his hand to rub Molly's cheek affectionately.

"Can I kiss you, Molly?" He asks gently. Molly's eyebrows raise.

"Uh... yeah." She nods with wide eyes. Arthur moves forward to gently kiss her affectionately. Molly melts into the kiss. Neither of them deepen it, they just keep it soft and delicate, almost... now Molly didn't want to even think this word but, loving. They rest their foreheads on each other after, panting slightly.

"We're having a daughter." Molly breathes with wide eyes. Arthur grins and nods.

"What are we gonna call her?"

"Anything but something basic." Molly scoffed.

***

In a week Molly would be 6 months pregnant. Arthur was slowly falling in love with the girl, despite not planning to at all. Molly still acted as if she didn't like the baby girl in her belly. But two nights ago, when the pair were sitting in Arthur's room, she laced their fingers together.

"How do you feel about the name Ginerva?" Molly asked, continuing to look forward. Arthur had chuckled.

"It's definitely not basic."

"That's why I like it." She laughs.

"What's wrong with basic names?" Arthur teased.

"I'll tell you what, if we ever have a son you can name him something basic." Molly had then whispered. Arthur had gasped and looked at the girl.

"Really?" He had asked with wide eyes.

"You can name every son if you really want." Molly snorts, finally looking up to make eye contact.

"You wanna have more kids with me?" Arthur whispered with raised eyebrows of shock.

"Maybe one or two." Molly had smiled timidly. Arthur had then kissed her and when he pulled away they both dissolved into a fit of giggles.

Now, a week from the 6 month mark, Arthur was heading to Molly's dorm with a bouquet of flowers and a pack of lime cauldron cakes which Molly had said she was craving a few days prior. It was obviously past 7pm, as all their visits are.

He happily knocked on the door. When she didn't answer immediately he pushed the door open himself. She was sitting on her bed, facing away from the door.

"Hi love." Arthur grinned and closed the door behind him. She didn't answer. "Molly?" He asked, walking over to her. When he reached her and saw that tears were running down her face and she was staring blankly at the floor, he dropped the flowers and cakes on the bed beside hers and dropped to his knees in front of her.

"Molly? Molly are you okay?" He asked worriedly, tapping her knee. Her eyes shakily raised to meet his.

"I lost Ginevra." She whispers. Arthur immediately envelopes her body with his. He felt tears well in his eyes as he felt Molly shake and heard her sob in his arms.

"It's okay. It's okay, Molly." He whispered, into the side of her head that had hair.

"Oh god, Arthur." She wailed.

"I've got you Molly. It's okay. You're okay." He whispers into her hair, rubbing her back soothingly, as his own tears streamed down his cheeks very quickly.

"I lost her. I lost Ginevra." She whispers through tears into his chest.

"I know, love. It's okay, we'll get her back one day." He whispers before pressing a kiss onto her temple.

"I love you, Arthur." She whispers, squeezing him tighter.

"I love you too Molly."

That was the day that Molly Prewett died. At least, according to Molly Weasley, Molly Prewett had died that day. According to Mrs Weasley, Miss Molly Prewett changed forever after that day. She was quiet and sad during their last month at Hogwarts and after Hogwarts, the hollow shell of a woman that was once Miss Molly Prewett, became Molly Weasley within a year.

According to Arthur Weasley, Molly Prewett never truly died, she still lived on inside his wife, twice as domesticated and twice as loved.

Everyone now loves Mrs Molly Weasley. She has a big old family, full of perfect sons, her perfect husband, and her perfect daughter.
