Dovewing had transported herself into the backrooms. When last we left her, she had just reached level twenty-one. Meanwhile, in the dark forest, Batclaw lost his long name because he’s dead now. So Batclaw decided that he would just hang out in the dark forest because he’s got nothing else better to do, and just chill and watch movies because the dark forest is now open to Amazon.
In the backrooms, Dovewing is whining that she didn’t buy the level skipper for three fresh-kill. She didn’t realize how many more levels lay ahead of her. She didn’t realize that the backrooms were practically infinite and inescapable. Dovewing had to find a way to get out.
Dovewing decided to jump as high as she could and smashed into level twenty-two. She realized she just had to get a large enough charge and she could tear through every single level and get out. Suddenly, Dovewing encounters one of the backrooms monsters - the Smiler! But it was actually Elmo dressed as the Smiler, which was somehow even more horrifying. Elmo trips and falls, and Dovewing falls on Elmo and bounces, realizing that Elmo is bouncy. She realizes that Elmo is how she can tear through every single level.
But then a secret security force shoots Elmo with a bow and arrow. It was only a tranquilizer dart, so he’s still alive, and they take Dovewing hostage. They shot BOTH of them with tranquilizer darts. Dovewing asks the security guard to kill her, then when she dies, she gets to Star Clan, and in Star Clan she asks one of the cats for her reboot card, and she comes out of the backrooms and into Thunder Clan as an alive cat. But then she wakes up in the prison. It was only a dream!
She sees one of the guards, and it’s the Cookie Monster.
Meanwhile, in Thunderclan camp, Breezepelt visits Thunderclan camp and immediately starts blasting several different dark forest AMVs and MAPs, which causes Jayfeather to spiral into depression. Back in the prison, Dovewing has some cookies on her, so she throws them, which distracts the Cookie Monster, so she’s able to escape. And she also breaks Elmo out of his prison cell. The Cookie Monster immediately starts running after them and Dovewing realizes that she wasted all her fresh-kill on cookies, so they gave it to the Cookie Monster and ran.
They give the Cookie Monster so many cookies that the Cookie Monster spontaneously combusts. Then Juicebox spontaneously combusts; she’s in the backrooms too, somehow. Elmo steals several pieces of the prison and Dovewing and Elmo make a milling machine. They use it to tear through the levels.
Meanwhile in Riverclan camp, Frostpaw gets knocked out by a mystery cat who is actually just Inch, who had fallen over. Then Pickle and Finn had decided they were the prophesied three instead of Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Dovewing. This didn’t make a lot of sense, as Pickle and Finn were definitely not kin of Firestar’s kin, but Inch maybe was, since he is very orange and looks a lot like Firestar and Squirrelflight. Then Kitstar and Forkcat no-clip into the backrooms. Kitstar steals the milling machine, throws it, and it cuts through all the levels until level 567. Dovewing was also on the milling machine, so she is now on level 567. 567 is the level called the Bus Lot; it’s an empty abandoned bus lot next to what seems to be an empty, abandoned factory. Meanwhile, Kitstar smashes into the sides of the backrooms and discovers something insane: the secret service that captured Dovewing and Elmo were patrolling all over and the backrooms was actually a skyscraper prison. They were all led by one cat, Whiskertail.
