Longing is something Narumi is very familiar with.

He longs for love,

Security,

Affection,

Praise,

Attention,

Touch,

Freedom,

Family,

A lover.

This painful emotion has been haunting him since he lost his family.

Leaving him, a child to be thrown around to different orphanages, making him lose interest in forging connectio—

The sudden coldness against his cheeks abruptly interrupted his thoughts. He turned his face to the culprit, pouting.

"What's with that melancholic look?" Hoshina asked while snickering, pulling back the cold can of coffee.

"I'll tell you later," Narumi gentle pulled Hoshina.

"Don't leave me."

Some notes i wanna share and headcannons:
• Security - security means 'the state of being protected from danger, harm, or loss' since they're soldiers, and very strong ones too, other soldiers and citizens surely felt being protected by Narumi, and Narumi can only felt this while in Hoshina's arm wlcnledlww
• Freedom - as the hailed strongest of japan, he really can't go anywhere since it really puts a toll to the military power of JAKDF (love the game for the character lore crumbs, please don't die)
• i initially wrote this while thinking that both Hoshina and Narumi are in their bed, and Narumi happened to woke up early, but while writing, the setting somehow turned into the rooftop of the Ariake base lol, Narumi was leaning by the fence watching the sun set. I wonder what you guys imagined 🤔
