Headcanons: All the LIs in a polycule with a Bi/Pan MC

Work Text:

A chart describing the nature of relationships between all the characters, romantic vs platonic and sexual vs sensual.

Romantic - They go on dates

Platonic - They hang out

Sexual - They have physical intimacy

Sensual - They have physical affection

 

Polycule Dynamics Headcanons:

  • MC is romantic and sexual with all of them.
  • Niel is romantic and sexual with all of them.
  • Iridessa is romantic and sexual with MC, Niel, and Leona. She is romantic and sensual with Cato. She is platonic and sensual with Bardric and Talyn.
  • Leona is romantic and sexual with MC, Niel, Iridessa, and Cato. She is platonic and sexual with Talyn and Bardric.
  • Talyn is romantic and sexual with MC, Niel, and Bardric. He is platonic and sexual with Leona and Cato. He is platonic and sensual with Iridessa.
  • Bardric is romantic and sexual with MC, Niel, Talyn, and Cato. He is platonic and sexual with Leona. He is platonic and sensual with Iridessa.
  • Cato is romantic and sexual with MC, Niel, Leona, and Bardric. He is romantic and sensual with Iridessa. He is platonic and sexual with Talyn.

 

Other Headcanons:

  • Niel is a disaster bi with no preference who eagerly joined the polycule.
  • Iridessa is demibisexual with a preference for women and was happy when she learned about polyamory.
  • Leona is pan and probably instigated the polycule.
  • Talyn was the last to join the polycule and is only physically intimate with the others if MC and/or Bardric are involved. 
  • Bardric is a distinguished bi with a slight preference for men and was the second to last to join.
  • Cato is a slightly-more-functional-than-Niel bi and is the most insecure about his place in the polycule.
  • Iridessa and Bardric would be willing to be intimate with each other if MC was involved.
  • Iridessa has a cuckolding kink and likes making the others watch her and MC be physically intimate with each other.
  • Aside from his attraction to MC, Talyn is recipromantic, meaning he only became romantically involved with Bardric and Niel after they each told him of their feelings.
  • Cato has romantic feelings for Talyn, but Talyn assumes that every time Cato has asked him out was "just a First-Year wanting help from a Third-Year". Cato is too scared to clarify.
  • Leona and Bardric have a rather spicy qpr as they are very competitive in bed, especially when it comes to pleasing MC.
  • Bardric was hesitant to join the polycule because of his jealousy issues. Those issues were resolved via a very convincing fivesome between him, MC, Niel, Leona, and Cato.
  • Bardric is the one who formally asked Talyn to join the polycule.
  • Group dates are most likely to happen between MC, Niel, Iridessa, and Leona.
