Until a mysterious stranger unlocks his penthouse door.

Hired to bring the rogue heir to heel, he steps into the shadows of Jungkook's chaotic world, armed with ruthless methods and a will of iron. As a secretive battle of dominance unfolds behind closed doors, masks slip, and rigid walls begin to fracture.

In a dangerous game of control, who will surrender first?

Chapter 1: The Espresso Intervention

Chapter Text

The sweltering summer sun beats down on the gleaming glass skyscrapers of Gangnam, casting sharp, angular shadows across the impeccably manicured sidewalks.

Inside the Velvet Bean, a cozy, upscale café tucked away from the chaotic main avenue, the air is cool, fragrant with the rich scent of freshly ground espresso and sweet vanilla.

Kim Taehyung stands behind the polished oak counter, deftly steaming milk. He is a barista here, though his appearance belongs on a billboard. Taehyung is twenty-eight, tall, and exceptionally muscular. Beneath his snug black apron and fitted white t-shirt, his well-defined pecs, broad back muscles, and thick biceps subtly flex with every movement. He maintains a rigorous three - hour exercise schedule every single day, keeping his body in peak physical condition. Like many gym enthusiasts, Taehyung despises body hair. He sports a completely clean-shaven, smooth, and hairless look, his skin glowing like polished bronze. He is a sly, highly intelligent individual, his sharp eyes always observing the world around him.

Today, those sharp eyes are fixed on a wealthy, exhausted - looking older couple sitting in the corner booth. Mr. and Mrs. Jeon, the heads of the massive Jeon Conglomerate, look like they have aged ten years in the past week.

"I cannot take it anymore, darling," Mrs. Jeon sighs, massaging her temples.

"Jungkook was in the tabloids again today, for partying until dawn with models and skipping the board meeting. He looks like a wild animal with all that... hair."

"He calls it his 'carefree modern Tarzan' look," Mr. Jeon grumbles, sipping his black coffee.

"He's a playboy and a brat. He spends all his time at the gym or the club. If he isn't entirely shirtless flaunting those massive muscles of his, he's wearing something so tight it leaves nothing to the imagination. How is he supposed to take over the company?"

Taehyung pauses, the stainless steel pitcher resting in his hand.

He knows of Jeon Jungkook.

Everyone in Seoul knows of the conglomerate heir. Jungkook is twenty-eight, immensely popular among women due to his incredibly masculine, outlandish, and handsome looks. He is even taller and more muscular than Taehyung, boasting huge, supple, perky, massive, and well-defined pecs, an eight-pack of abs, and biceps that look like carved granite. But lately, Jungkook has let his grooming go completely. He has long, brightly colored, damaged hair, thick eyebrows, a full unkempt beard, and an intense amount of hair on his chest, armpits, and limbs.

A sly smile spreads across Taehyung's smooth face. He places the pitcher down, unties his apron, and walks over to the despairing couple.

"Excuse me, Chairman Jeon, Madam Jeon," Taehyung says, his voice a rich, smooth baritone.

"I couldn't help but overhear. It sounds like you need someone to bring your son to heel. Someone who won't be intimidated by his bratty behavior or his muscles."

Mr. Jeon blinks, looking up at the imposing, handsome barista, "And who might you be, young man?"

"Kim Taehyung and if you give me full authority, I can turn your wild Tarzan into a sensible gentleman."

The parents exchange a desperate, exhausted look.

"You're hired," Mrs. Jeon says without hesitation.

"You start today as his new executive secretary!"
