You are Kim Dokja, an overworked salaryman with approximately ten working hours per day, a Christmas wage, peanuts in your wallet and about six, maybe seven, asshole superiors screaming at your face daily. It’s a tough life, but unfortunately the one you are living.
Except, not today. This is because today is a Bank Holiday, one of the only days you’re allowed to slack off, especially after your PD caught you lying through your teeth about various faiths to get a break on various religious holidays.
Needless to say, because of Bank Holiday-nim’s kind existence, you are free, free to skip and frolick to your heart’s desire.
Today, come noon, in your one-bedroom apartment in one of the more sordid parts of Seoul, you eye the warmth of your bed and the hardbacks lining the bookshelf. However, they are out of reach today, unfortunately. This is because you know, even before reaching for your phone, that there are several people beggaring for your attention, and you have to choose who is worthy of spending the graces of Bank Holiday-nim’s blessings.
As you open up your text messages, you have three choices of who to spend the day with:
