[Outside the apartment door]
Hyuntak is halfway through the apartment gate when he crashes into someone.
Hyuntak doesn't even look at the person he bumps into at first. His eyes lock onto the bag that slips from his hands. The impact sends the oranges he'd bought so everyone can snack around once they get tired from moving scattering across the pavement. So much for caring about his friends, huh?
"Fuck,"
He kneels without looking at the person he crashed without thinking in a hurry, trying to collect all the oranges to stop them rolling even further. He collects them in seconds, then looks up.
Some guy with glasses and a very ugly windbreaker is just standing there, staring down at his ruined cigarette, then turns his attention to Hyuntak's face like he couldn't believe the audacity. Honestly, Hyuntak didn't even see the cigarette the guy dropped until now. And he definitely didn't care because it clearly only happened because the guy refused to move. So.
For a second neither of them speaks.
“You could apologize,” Hyuntak says with a clearly pissed expression on his face.
"For what?"
“You walked into me.”
“No, you walked into me. And made me drop my cigarette. And your stupid fucking oranges."
Hyuntak folds his arms. Normally, he'd just drop it, apologise and leave. He's nice like that, but something about this guy's face (and smirk) pisses him off in a way that he hasn't felt in a long time, maybe since high school.
“I was here first.”
"Congratulations, dumbass. You still bumped into me."
The corner of the guy's mouth twitches. Hyuntak feels like punching it off his face and he's very close to.
“My bag's on the ground.”
“My cigarette's on the ground.”
"You can pull another cigarette from your pack."
“You can pick up your oranges. And you did. Like a good boy.” The guy's grin only grows wider. There's something new in his eyes now. Amusement, maybe. It pisses Hyuntak off all the same.
"Apologize."
“No."
Hyuntak tries again. “Apologize.”
“I don't want to.” The guy said, still grinning, looking like he's having the time of his life at Hyuntak's expense.
Hyuntak gets close, closer than he should. Probably. He pokes a finger into the guy's chest. He lifts his head and meets the guy's eyes. His brows are drawn together, and the anger written all over his face is impossible to hide.
That turns out to be a mistake. The guy's expression darkens in a milisecond.
“Stop touching me.” He says, like it's a warning.
“Then say sorry.”
“You’re annoying.”
“You’re an asshole.”
Something flashes across the guy's face.
Then, his fist lands right against Hyuntak's cheek.
