Chapter Text

Mingi grinned as he looked up at Hongjoong. He got to sit next to him at this little restaurant they all went out for, but for some odd reason, everyone wouldn’t look at him or talk to him. What did he do? He tried to talk, the best he could, but he would get dry or non existent responses. So he shut up. Maybe they just didn’t feel like talking. He kind of withdrew into his own head. Pushing around his food with his fork as he stared at his plate. He didn’t feel like eating anymore. He just thought he was part of them now. Why were they not talking to him? He kept trying to talk, only to be stared at or ignored. He stopped trying. He didn’t want to bother anyone anymore. As they walked home, Mingi was alone. He even was in bed alone, which wasn’t normal. He sobbed quietly as he laid in bed. He sniffled as he tried to keep his sobs to himself. Well until Hongjoong couldn’t take it anymore and he crawled into bed next to Mingi. Kissing his bare back, “Don’t cry, pretty boy,” Mingi sobbed more, “Why is everyone ignoring me?” Hongjoong shook his head and lent closer to Mingi, he smelled of whiskey. “They’re not mad at you, we’re just… betting on something.” Mingi looked confused, Hongjoong kissed his nose as he did. “You’ll get it when it’s over, but trust me, no one’s mad at you.” Mingi just nodded, he felt like he was high. He guessed that’s how Hongjoong was when he was drunk like this. Honest and flirty. He snuggled with Hongjoong and eventually fell asleep.

The next morning, everyone was chattering when Mingi came down stairs. They sat next to Yunho, laying his head on his shoulder. “Why is everyone so excited?” Yunho gave a grin, “Hongjoong lost the bet that he’d crack first. We bet on who could ignore you, and Hongjoong lost, I lost, and Yeosang did too. It was to see if we were gonna bring you with us on our new ship.” Mingi pouted and smacked Yunho’s arm lightly, “I thought you guys were mad at me.” Yunho laughed slightly before ruffling Mingi’s hair. He served the tall man’s breakfast and everything flowed like normal. Except Mingi couldn’t help but think about last night. He could still feel the kisses on his back and Hongjoong’s slurred, flirty words. ‘Pretty boy’ ingrained into his brain. Maybe Hongjoong could act on a few things that he was too scared to do before.

When Mingi got close to Hongjoong, he would rub his hand over the smaller’s waist and would give the man big eyes. He couldn’t help but feel giddy when Hongjoong’s cheeks flushed red. He finally learned that the look he was getting was different than anger. Hongjoong’s eyes looked different, they were more looking away and bashful and he always gave a look over. He sighed as he saw Hongjoong flush once more. He didn’t know what made the man so excited. His heart running wild as he felt Hongjoong’s stare grow hot and heavy. This was the first time he’d felt like this  Maybe it was a human thing. What is this feeling? He liked it.

Mingi and Jongho were alone after the other six went out for different reasons. They were just talking. “I bet I can make Hongjoong crack!” Mingi said with excitement and red cheeks as Jongho shook his head, “I doubt it. He’s very stubborn.” They giggled and made the lighthearted bet. They drank a little and snacked as they grew closer as they spilled secrets and such. “Would you believe me if I told you that even showering makes me transform? It fucking sucks,” Mingi said with a laugh. Jongho laughed and gave a sigh, “I’m so sorry man, that sucks.” He sighed as they finally calmed when people got home. He winked at Jongho when Hongjoong got home. Not realising how wrong this could go. Not thinking about anything really. Just the excitement of it all.

Mingi was coy in his flirting. He dropped something and bent over to pick it up. But a bit more dramatically as he did so. Learning the little trick from Jongho giving him tips and advice. He didn’t see Hongjoong’s reaction. How the man looked over at him and gave a smirk. Oh game on. They flirted back and forth throughout the day, but Mingi was coy about it. Hongjoong not as much. He was a bit more aggressive than Mingi was. By the evening, Mingi was giddy with excitement as he watched Hongjoong climb into bed with him. He enjoyed the cuddles he was getting. Nothing thinking much of it as they both had a few drinks, so they were a bit tipsy. He was startled as he had a hand rub over his ass and he felt a hot sensation run over his body, “You thought you’d get away with teasing me all day? There’s a reason Yeosang is in the other room, pretty boy.” Mingi looked at Hongjoong, his eyes all wide eand his cheeks red, “But- I’ve never-“ Hongjoong shushed him, “I know baby, I’ll teach you.” Mingi let out a shaky breath and nodded. He let Hongjoong kiss his lips. He melted against him, trying to follow the man’s lead. Soon the sweet kiss turned hot and messy. He whined as he felt Hongjoong slipped his tongue into his mouth. His eyes closed as he let Hongjoong licked in his mouth. His hands finding purchase on the man’s shirt, his legs spreading. His cheeks hot as he felt worked up already. He whined as he felt Hongjoong sneak his hand up his shirt and played with his nipples gently. He let out a pant as Hongjoong slipped another hand down the man’s pants. Touching under his jeans and making his legs shake. He couldn’t stop the very quick and embarrassingly short orgasm that rippled through him. Hongjoong gave a chuckle. “Oh my god, you came so fuck. Maybe we can work on your stamina before we actually fuck,” the captain said, kissing the man’s lips quickly before climbing off of him. Then he jerked off, letting Mingi watch. Which he enjoyed. Then they cleaned up and went to sleep. Mingi felt weird. Happy but also very loved. Maybe this was where he belonged instead.
