Aziraphale almost choked. “Wh—No, no, not at all.”
They nodded. “I knew it. It’s carnal relations.”
Aziraphale smiled brightly in agreement as he topped off both their teacups. He was utterly unprepared for the next words that came out of their mouth.
“So if carnal relations produce babies, why don’t you and Mr Crowley have any yet?”
Aziraphale fairly spat his just-sipped mouthful of tea across the room.
