“I had scoliosis,” Peter whispered, not looking away from where they’d heard the metal snap. He had gone pale. Bucky was sure he was a few shades lighter, himself. “That’s… that’s what I was gonna say before."
“Yeah?” Bucky asked. He loosened his grip on Peter’s shoulder, but didn’t take his hand away.
“My back still hurts sometimes,” Peter explained quietly. “But that might be because of the swinging. Hard to find a strong enough chiropractor to crack it, you know? Maybe… maybe two thousand tons of concrete would do it, though.” Bucky leveled his gaze at the kid. Peter looked back at him, swallowing hard.
“Let’s call that Plan B, okay?” Bucky suggested.
“Yeah, okay,” Peter mumbled.

Or, Peter gets caught in the collapse of a parking garage with a (mildly) concussed Bucky Barnes, and has a nice get-to-know-you sesh with our favorite super soldier while waiting for Tony to find a safe way get them out. Super chill, right? Everything's fine. Oh- and he's been impaled by two rods of rebar and can't move without risking bleeding out. That... complicates things.

Alex repeated, and Tony's heart was torn apart.
He shouldn't have said that. Even if everyone thought it was the right choice, he shouldn't have believed Obadiah so easily.
"It's not Peter, no body was ever found, so his death isn't confirmed."
"No it isn't, it doesn't matter that there's no body, it doesn't matter that no one saw his death, his father decided to abandon him and declared him dead so he's dead, I'm just Peter Parker." He said in a very cold voice, and Tony froze.

I was thinking, every time Tony finds Peter in all the stories Peter accepts it and goes along with it. I have another idea about that

Summary
Peter Parker stops in front of the building. His milkshake drops to the dirty concrete, unheeded. Around him the ashes fall from the sky, and smoke fills his lungs as he watches the skeletal remains of their apartment burn.
Sirens are screaming around him. But it's too late. There's nothing left.
When several firemen appear out of the rubble, carrying a fresh white sheet laid over a stretcher, and give him pitying looks, he turns away, tears clouding his vision.
And then he runs.-
Spider-Man has been missing for eight months and six days.
Peter Parker has been missing for seven months and twenty-eight days, but no one's worried about him.No one except his friends and Tony Stark.
