Brilliant Works
Absolutely fucking brilliant works that I keep coming back to. From sweet to dark, I seriously love these stories with all my heart!
I will never hide this, so please don’t worry about your stories if you accept the invitation.
This collection includes some Harry Potter fanfiction that I’ve chosen to keep for personal, nostalgic, or transformative reasons. I want to be explicitly clear : I am a trans man , I stand 100% with trans and queer communities, and I despise the transphobic views of the author of the original books. She does not define this fandom, and she absolutely does not speak for me. These works exist in spite of her, not because of her.

Summary
Dean’s always wanted a supernatural companion. Something strange and maybe a little dangerous - the kind of pet that would make people stop and stare. Now that he’s finally settled into a place of his own, it feels like the right time, but the supernatural creature he ends up taking home isn’t what he imagined.
Hidden in the back of the emporium, caged and collared, is an angel with dirt-matted feathers, half-healed bruises, and eyes that burn cold when they finally meet Dean’s. Dean knows he’s in no way prepared for this, but he also knows he can’t just leave him there.

Summary
A Season 2 AU in which Will Graham did not, at any point, accuse Hannibal of being the Chesapeake Ripper.
Will Graham is the smartest person most people will ever have the misfortune to meet. Hannibal Lecter has been no exception; he's brilliant, but his failing is that he assumes he's the mastermind in every situation. He still thinks Will didn't pick up on every weird joke, every coincidence, every threat disguised as a charming quip, every flashing neon sign that screams "Hannibal Lecter is the Chesapeake Ripper!"
Now, Will has to decide what he wants from Hannibal. For the first time in his life, it seems like there's a possibility that somebody might be close enough to his level for a real connection. Hannibal is an apex predator in a garish suit, blind to Will's superior camouflage, and the Ripper's obsession with Agent Graham is so obvious it's drawing attention from... undesirable sources. If Will can manipulate everything to his desired outcome, Hannibal could become the equal Will has always wanted.
If he wants to protect their fragile peace, it'll take a lot more than just Hannibal Lecter.
That's fine. After all, Will has never been able to stop himself at just one stray.

Summary
The shield purred.
Well. If Steve wanted to be pedantic, the reaction wasn’t exactly a purr. It was still a piece of metal. But eighty years ago, when this had happened for the first time- the low vibration accompanied by this violently content sensation spreading across his mental link to the weapon, light pulsing gently along its runes and a low hum emanating from the center- Bucky had laughed and said it reminded him of a cat.
Steve had always, privately, believed the term was fitting. Something about the way it responded to his touch, like one of the alley cats that always strolled up to Bucky and started rubbing themselves on his pant leg after he'd stopped Steve from getting beat up by the asshole of the week.
Bucky had thought it was sweet.
Steve, well-aware that a semi-sentient magical object connected this intimately to a wielder took on more than just their magical energy signature, thought it was horribly transparent.
Or: Steve’s shield is a semi-sentient extension of his magic, and only allows the people it trusts to protect Steve as loyally as it does to touch it. That is a very short list. One that, apparently, includes the Winter Soldier.

Summary
Dean Winchester is divorced, emotionally constipated, and way behind on the deadline for his next book. Naturally, the solution is to install a hyper-intelligent, slightly smug OS named Castiel to help whip his life into shape.
Cas is efficient. Supportive. And kind of charming, in a weird way.. Also? Unreasonably flirty for someone who lives in a hard drive somewhere.
Dean's not falling for him. He's just.. lonely.
So, why does Castiel feel like the only real thing in Dean's life?

Summary
Dean is so determined to be normal about Cas and what Cas said, so determined for things to get back to normal, that he starts counting his victories. First, he can touch Cas just like he did before--easy. He can comfort him after a nightmare--no problem. He doesn't even think about the fact that Cas is in love with him when Dean's moving around the bunker post-shower, as dressed down as he ever got before, just boxers and his robe closed over them. He's not even worried. Not even thinking twice about what Cas might see. Very natural, very cool; he can be cool about this.
It's just that, along with that, he can't stop thinking about the fact that Cas is in love with him. And when they start watching that fucking schmoopy ass show with Jack, Dean can't stop thinking about that kid, Nick, and where his story's going to go. Why does it matter so much to him anyway?

When Dean gets shrunken by a witch and wakes up in the middle of nowhere, the last thing he's expecting is to make a friend in his fairy savior. Cas saves him from sudden death and takes him back to a fairy village to show him a new way of life he would've never even known, so when the opportunity arises, it's only natural that Dean would return the favor—for better or for worse.

Summary
“I wrote you a letter.” Bucky looked down and carefully folded the piece of paper. He got to his feet and offered it to Steve.
His brow furrowed. “What is this?”
“It’s the letter,” he explained.
Steve blinked. “You remembered an entire letter you wrote at basic?”
He nodded.
Steve looked down at the piece of paper and then back up at him.
“I think I kept it for a while,” he explained. “Must have reread it a lot, or something. I don’t know.”
Steve’s eyes started to mist. “You wrote me a letter.”
“I wrote you a letter.”
