Summary
The Marauders had never expected to make it out of the Potters' garage when they started their band. Somehow, despite that fact, they've managed to start getting gigs on a regular basis. The problem is--everything they do is dependent on one another. Without one of them, none of them can go on. When Peter, their keyboardist, breaks his wrist, it looks like game over for the next few months. Seemingly luckily for them, Sirius has a secret--he recently reconnected with his brother, who has the skills they need to fill in and the time to do so. Despite everyone trying their best, not everything is quite as 'Smooth Sailing' as they would have all preferred, especially not with potential romance in the air, and a lot of dirty laundry to air, especially as Regulus tries to fit himself in with Sirius' friends.
Or: everyone does their best, but thinking you know what curves are coming your way is a sure-fire way to miss your turn.

Summary
😰 uhmmm Regulus Black sacrifices himself for the greater good by trying to destroy one of Voldemort’s Horcruxes. But he isn’t the only one who dies that night. The Obliviation Charm he placed on James Potter breaks when Regulus dies, and James’s memories come flooding back. Once he remembers the truth, James is determined to avenge the man he loved and finish what Regulus started—destroying Voldemort for good.
(And maybe… Regulus might come back. I’m still deciding.) -
