When he turned to watch the snow grace the dull campus, Taehyung found someone looking straight at him, and his breath stopped. A boy stood under the yellow gleam of the streetlight just in front of the library window. Tall, studded black boots stopped in their track. A tattooed hand rose to push a lock of hair from his face, revealing the gleam of silver piercings that donned his brow and lobes, and strong, sculpted facial features.
But despite all of that, all the signs that scream trouble or a cold demeanor, Taehyung saw the boy’s eyes widen in recognition before the warmest gaze spread across his face, and that’s when Taehyung knew.
Because it was a cold winter night as well when the same sweet doe-like eyes left his life at the age of 14.
