Nox and Chase go to a vampire ball hosted by one of the vampire nobility on Christmas Eve one year in the early 1900s.
While there, Nox is sitting alone when he meets Miro who reminds him of Chase, then later he meets Vincent, Miro's husband who reminds him of himself.
Throughout the party, Nox thinks about how people "dance" and that while this particular dance may not make sense to him, perhaps there are other dances that do.
People just "dance" in different ways.
[Note: I'm not fond including OC's in my stories but I feel Vincent and Miro enhance the reading by showing how similar they are to Chase and Nox, serving to complement them as characters in some ways and also differentiate them in others.]
