   So, just for clarification, I could, for example, link a YouTube video where I sourced some information used in one of my fics and that's fine as long as I don't mention that that YouTuber has a Patreon or Nebula association, despite the video itself (which is free to access) also being a source of income for that YouTube (even though that's not my intention)?

      YouTube is considered a non-commercial site with monetization features. In general, as long as you're not promoting the paid aspects of the site, you're allowed to link to YouTube.
