    Beside the threat of AI, spam comments are the main reason as for why I’ve had to restrict my works to registered users :-(

      Me too. Which sucks because I are had one maybe two regular guest commenters who can’t even read them now. :(

      i monitor ai going onto a site to recognize patterns and most ai crawlers and scrapers dont do anything, not even leave a hit on works. ive never seen an ai actually log on and comment on its own (wait did i misunderstand the ai part sorry) but has this happened? I've only started monitoring in june.
