Summary
When Castiel moves back to his birth place in the twin towns (Angel Falls and Freeville) he ends up joining Angel Falls hockey team "The Angels HC" and immediately establish himself as their star player. His team captain Lucifer harbor a strange obsession with a player from their rival hockey team "Team Free Will" which leads to Castiel meeting Sam and Dean Winchester.
For Sam and Castiel it's instant bromance much to Dean's chagrin. Despite them being on opposing teams Dean is drawn to Castiel and the better he gets to know the Angel the more chaotic and explosive the chemistry between them gets. Because Cas is not the person he seems to be and Dean has some dark secrets of his own...

Unwittingly this will lead to him having a major impact on the lives of our boys in Volatile Chemistry. Sasha's actions will affect them all without them ever knowing.
Timestamps of Castiel and Sasha's time together, plus things that happened to Sasha after Cas left him. This won't make any sense at all unless you've read chapter 56-58 in Volatile Chemistry, the first work in this series. The chapters are not necessarily in order of when they happen. None of this is necessary to read to get the plot in Volatile Chemistry.

This is glimpses into his life, and it takes off in 2014 when Tom has had to retire due to injury and has to resign himself to never ever get to see Sam again. This is his emotional journey through internalized homophobia, betrayal, pining, a pandemic, and his relationship with God and everyone around him.
(I honestly don't know how to write an intriguing blurb for this fic but personally, I think this is one of my best works. Have the tissues ready and follow along to the happyish ending.)

He also rekindles his old friendship with Michael which is quite an emotional ride, as the last two years hasn't been kind to Michael.
