He did not quite remember when he got on the train, nor did he remember what he was doing there. The stone walls in the futuristic city seemed familiar somehow, but still he didn't know a thing about this place, didn't know a street, a corner, a building. When Paul slowly stepped outside the train, he took a deep breath. Smell the ashes, they said. And damn, could he smell them.
(This crossover is paused for the time being so I can focus on writing the main title first, as I skipped the first Half Life game and forgot, that I can't write stories without knowing at least a little bit about the past xD)
