Summary
Zuko is living in a world of hurt caused by his own family. After he came out as gay his family consistently beat him and took away all contact with the outside world.
Before Zuko came out Sokka was his best friend and they both obviously had feelings for each other but Sokka wasn't one to push so he never said anything and after Zuko secretly contacted Sokka telling him what had happened Sokka snapped and went to get him.
