Summary
Poor Roger is a serial offshoot of the D/M clothing series -- Suiting Up, Tied, Undone, and Hans and Foots (and the prequels, It Was Hans, and Sam). It's an AU in which Methos did not return to Paris after Bordeaux and the Horsemen. It Was Hans is the best for getting Methos from Bordeaux to his current identity.
Poor Roger takes place directly after Hans and Foots. Briefly put, Methos lives in London now, quietly, openly gay, as Michael Adams: retired physician, authority and author of books on Roman coins. He has a valet, Hans. Hans has a dog, Foots. Methos/Michael Adams (always Dr. Adams to Hans) also has a young man who's desperately attached to him, the blond, spectacled, and unspectacular Roger Bradford. Duncan appeared suddenly, explosively, passionately, in the stories above and was quickly turned away. Methos wants to keep his quiet life. That means, for now, Poor Roger.

Summary
Duncan, after his passage with Methos in London, loses himself in Milan.
This directly follows Undone and events in Poor Roger.He looked his fill in his new city. He caught himself watching for lookalikes ... there were none. He buried himself in women for a month. He sank into softness, pillowed himself on breasts and thighs, lipped and sucked until he was juiced from nose to chin. He munched prosciutto and melon and popped sauced ravioli with his tongue. He hungered, he ate, and he was unfilled.
