Description:

"I can hear them. Not overhead as yet, but close. The sound of their search brings to mind a gathering storm, a rumbling overhead... like distant thunder!"

After four million years, the Cybertronian civil war is over - and the Autobots have won! With their world restored, Optimus Prime and his team turn their focus outward to Earth, Speedia and Gigalonia. But as they seek to right the wrongs of the past, and find their proper place in a time of peace, something else is searching for them. Its plans are complex... its passion inextinguishable... and its will undeniable. The clouds are swirling, the thunder is building and darkness gathers...

Notes:

Transformers: Distant Thunder is the second "book" in The Primus Trilogy - a series which ran from June 27, 2005 to July 23, 2007. The author's goal was to merge the concepts and tropes of the long-running Transformers mythology into an "ultimized" whole while improving his skills in writing science-fiction, murder mystery, horror and theological fiction. He also sought to collaborate with other authors to learn the needs, benefits and responsibilities of co-writing. During its original run, the series made "must read" lists at The AllSpark and TV Tropes.
