Sherlock whimpered but refused to melt into the older man's grip, deciding to wiggle, if John feared he might drop him he would put him down, something about not hurting him but the doctor didn't comply with Sherlock's assessment, in fact he bounced as he walked on strong legs and Sherlock wrapped his arms around his neck.
