During his second year of high school, Rin found himself faced with a conundrum. Not just his usual kind of conundrum, such as a bad test score, that could be easily solved by a few extra hours of studying, or his brother taking the food that he made for himself and specifically putting his name on it to specifically avoid that. No. This problem was much bigger and came in the physical form of one of his classmates, Bachira Meguru.

Despite his futile attempts to avoid otherwise, Rin finds himself at the mercy of Bachira. Sae and Shidou are entirely unhelpful.

Summary
So Bachira rambled on about some guy he sat next to in their shared English class, his arms waving all around and eyes brighter than when he’d shared his idea of firework-powered roller skates. He spent a solid minute just talking about his pretty eyes and another dedicated to how nicely he held his pen. Nagi had no idea who he was talking about, but since he hadn’t not slept during that class yet, that was a given. Bachira finished off his rant with a sigh, leaning back in his chair with his head in his hands. “I just need to find a way to woo this beautiful, beautiful specimen.”
“Oh, I know!” Isagi snapped his fingers. “If he’s been watching you during class, why don’t you take advantage of that? Go bigger.”
Please, Nagi begged internally, do not go bigger. He had to sit right in front of them and deal with that.

Nagi preferred to avoid getting involved in situations that were none of his business. Unfortunately for him, Bachira's quest to woo Rin was happening right there and roped him in far more than was necessary.

Summary
“Yo-chan, I have taken the liberty of becoming your cupid.”
That made him pause, squinting in disbelief. “What?”
Bachira shrugged, picking up his charcoal pencil and adding more shadows around the looming figure on his paper. “Yeah, Rin-chan was playing this game where he was like Cupid, but he chose if people died instead. I felt inspired.”
Isagi’s face went through a series of emotions. Bafflement, hesitation, worry. His expression settled on confusion, sucking his lips between his teeth before parting them again and bringing a hand up to his mouth to bite his knuckle. “You mean… like, a grim reaper?”

Bachira is dedicated to making sure his best friend finds love. Rin is an unwilling participant. Nagi is just glad it’s not him involved this time.
