They totally didn't expected it, just the day before she started to complain about not wanting ramen at all? Like, Lee literally never complained about what she was eating, that really surprised him!
Then she started talking about how much bigger her hips were getting, which Mikey didn't understand because it hadn't changed that much, not in the way she was exaggerating[...]
