Lilah Cabbot had all but deserted her past life and started anew as an unofficial member of the Grimes family. She had the intentions of becoming best friends with Lori and explore the female companionship she craved. Just like fate had taken control of her last relationship though, it conquered her new one as well.

Rick Grimes hadn’t been looking for a new family member, but he got one anyways. He also got a free babysitter.

If she’d have thought of what living in an apocalyptic world would consist of prior to being stuck in one, Lilah probably wouldn’t have a good answer. She’d have more questions than answers at the very least. Having undead, but breathing bodies coming for her flesh would’ve have even made the list.

Stuck in a hospital room with her unconscious best friend until the walking dead decided to go after a different door with another man occupying the space behind it.
