Summary

Neswyn took in a deep breath. “That I join the Mourn Watch.”
Emmrich’s surprise came back, but his brows quickly knit together in confusion. There was a long silence before he spoke again, “Join the Mourn Watch?”
“Does the idea of that upset you?”
Emmrich shook his head, “Of course it doesn’t, my love. I’m merely surprised. I didn’t… this feels very out of character for you. You said you made the suggestion yourself?”
