An offbeat Federation support ship on the outskirts of Theta Sector receives a new crew member: Lieutenant Claude C. Kenni.
Starship slice-of-life, military-esque action/drama and science-fictitious nonsense (real-ish enough-ish is how we roll here), fluffy romance, cute sibling/sibling-type relationships, lots of nostalgia. Technically OC x Claude, but really, it's AU Federation Dias (without a tragic past) x Claude.
(This story is part of the This Remnant Light universe and takes place after the events of This Remnant Light and A Patchwork Piece by Piece. But you can read it without having read the other fics, because it's kind of a spinoff AU.)
